《Taking My Heart (Completed)》61. All My Heart

Lola came from downstairs and smiled while I stand next to Samual by the door, having let him in a few minutes ago. Gram and Densea went up to see Samantha before she comes down, all of the boys went with them up the stairs.
"Time to get you outside." Lola smiles and opens the back door.
The door is left open, since the fence gate is closed. I opened it earlier while getting the mums into the yard easier. Not that the boys would run out without one of us, but still helps to be cautious.
The trips I made earlier was to get the little bow ties for all four of the boys. Gram helped to remove their collars and get the ties on them. Along with a small gift for Samantha.
When I got back home, I was shocked when Lola told me Samantha left with Jovi having to make an errand.
I watch as Gram and Densea walk out from the house with smiles on their faces, and a little misty eyed.
"She is beautiful, just as you are handsome. I am proud of you both, as I don't know all of the things you have in your closet but I can see how the two of you have helped each other from the moment I saw you to now." Gram pats my cheek like my grandma used to do.
How I wish my grandparents could be here on this day. I like to think they are happy and watching over me though.
Jovi walks out of the house a moment later, and my heart rate kicks up a notch.
"Don't worry she is coming. Any minute now. Something came up even better than me walking her out to you." Jovi smirks, as he stands to the side with the others.
Not a second later, I see Tanker and Oreo move out the door with Samantha right behind them.

My breath hitches in my throat, with how radiant she looks. The sun shines just right above us and makes her seem more like an angel than anything. All four of the boys walk with her towards me. It is fitting for Samantha, she is like the animal whisperer and never turns one down.
I hold my hand out and she takes it once in reach. "Hi, little paws." I smile, while whispering.
She blushes and Samual begins the little ceremony.
"I know you both want to do your own vows. Shane will you do the honors of going first." Samual looks to me.
I clear my throat and focus on Samantha.
"Samantha, I knew from the moment I first saw you that you were different. I fell for you hard and fast, everything about you was perfect. Every time you speak, you make sure the words said is from the heart and always know the right things to say. When I am with you it is the best feeling in the world and it feels more than love if that is even possible but you make it possible. You challenge me to be the best man I can, and help me when I may need it without a second thought. Most of the time, you know what I need before I even do."
I smile and rub her hand.
"I promise to always be here for you, no matter what you may need. I love how you don't hesitate to save a fur baby no matter what others think. You stood up for me when no one else has in many years. Everyday is a new adventure with you that I will never grow tired of and will always want more. I love you for everything you are and I feel like our lives won't be long enough because I want forever."
Samantha lets out a choked laugh.
Samuel has me repeat more words, before I get to place the rings on her finger.

"Samantha, it is your turn to say your vows." Samual smiles to her.
She sniffs once and smiles up at me.
"Shane, you are one of a kind. I never thought someone could come into my life and break through my barrier, but you did in record time. It wasn't just Tanker that took my heart but you did too. From the first time you left after meeting you, I felt a difference. It wasn't until the second time you had to leave that I realized you were taking my heart with you every time you left. It still feels that way when we are apart. I count the minutes until we are together again no matter how short or small it may seem."
She takes a small breath and smiles.
"I can't wait to grow old with you and see how much our love can grow even further. Though it doesn't seem like it possibly could grow anymore. I will always be there for you in whatever you may need. The only thing I can't promise is that I won't bring more fur babies home over time." She stops and everyone quietly laughs, including myself.
"I love you with all my heart, Shane."
Samual goes over more vows for her to say, before she places a ring on my finger. My eyes must have gave away the surprise.
"That is the errand we ran earlier." Jovi whispers behind me.
Everyone laughs again.
"I now prounce you husband and wife. You may finally kiss your bride." Samual finishes.
I waste no time in taking Samantha into my arms. I dip her back and kiss her tenderly.
Once we pull back from the kiss, I look in her eyes. "I finally have you as my wife, Mrs. Thomas." I smirk.
"I wouldn't have it any other way, Mr. Thomas." She smirks with me.
"Come over here. If anything I want one good picture of you two." Densea pulls us both under a pear tree.
I hold Samantha tight against me and we smile for the picture. Tanker, Oreo, Fluffier, and Vixen all join sitting by our feet.
We all talk and have fun until it is close to time for dinner.
Jovi walks in the house and pulls out a platter of food, along with Lola. "Gram made sure all the sweets were covered."
Samantha jumps in my arms looking at the sweet treats. Densea brings out more food and lets us know the other food has been delivered. The main meal for tonight, pizza. Something easy and equally as good as anything fancy that we could've ate.
I can't believe Densea talked Gram into letting us have it.
"I love the shirt you're wearing." Samantha smiles up to me.
"It seemed fitting." I smirk.
"Yes, it does. This is the exact shirt you wore on our first date." She smiles softly.
I kiss her lips and she wraps an arm around my neck. When we pull back, I can see something in her hand.
"What? Couldn't put it down, someone else may have ate my macaroon." She laughs, and I can't help but join in.
"Where are you two going tonight for the honeymoon?" Jovi and Lola smirk walking up.
"We aren't." Samantha starts but I cut her off.
"Actually, we won't be going far. There is a spot I know of just for us." I smirk.
"Do you need me to watch over the boys?" Gram steps up.
"Only if you truly want to Gram. They will be able to be with us though." I smile.
"Do you think I will turn down my fur grandbabies? Come on boys." Gram laughs.

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
