As the elevator opens,

I went inside her unit.

She's not there,

I saw a note.

As i read the note,

I ran fast up to the rooftop.

I saw her standing,

At the edge.

Time slows down,

But i feel my heart bursting.

I can't hear a thing,

I can't scream.

I wanted to run,

My legs won't move.

I prayed to God,

Please help me move.

As when i felt my legs,

I run fast,

Before she fell,

I held her hand.

A lot of questions in my mind,

Her eyes emotionless.

I told her,

"Please hold on" then i smiled.

Her eyes began tearing up,

As she held on to my hand.

I can feel my hand and arms breaking,

But she's more important than the pain.

I got her up,

I got her back.

She started crying,

And Apologizing.

As she's in my arms,

I can't imagine.

What could've happen,

If i'm seconds too late.
