《Don't test me (chaeryeong x reader)》XVII. "This fucking island"

Y/n
"Why the fuck did you guys jump over here?" I told the crew. They were tied up against the pole.
"We didn't have a plan, you know we were going with the flow," Ryujin responds making me pissed.
"Seriously!" I snapped out causing half the crew to wince at my tone.
"We didn't have a fucking captain, what were we supposed to do?" Yeji yelled out. I groaned and tried to go forward but couldn't because a certain someone was holding me down still.
Olivia then laughed making us stop fighting for a bit before bringing out my compass.
"Now, let's see if what you say is true Y/n," Olivia smirked at me and opened the compass.
"Is it true that you liked Y/n?" Everyone turned around to see Chu raising her hand while she asked the question. Olivia rolled her eyes but stopped moving.
"No, I never liked Y/n."
"Yeah, cuz you loved her," Ryujin added making everyone agree.
"No! Everyone stop making assumptions!" No one listened though as they gave their insight into what might've happened.
"Maybe Y/n thought Olivia was too scary so she rejected her." I heard someone say causing me to laugh out loud. That went on for a little bit until Olivia had enough and gave a shot into the sky. Everyone stopped what they were saying, letting her order everyone around.
"Jisu, let Y/n go. She has nowhere to run." Olivia commanded her. She nodded and let me go causing me to stretch my arms and back dramatically.
"Now, if there is another interruption I will shoot." No one said a word making Olivia smile.
She then opened the compass again.
The compass points to who the person holding it desires. Right now I think she wants Bootleg's daughter.
Olivia then walked towards Yeji's direction.
"Oh fuck..." I mumbled out. No one heard me though except Jisu who didn't react at all.
"So it's you..." Olivia said to Yeji.
"I told you I wasn't lying..." I trailed off but I knew it was no use. Olivia smiled at me, walking towards me and giving my cheek a squeeze.
"Take the rest of the Y/n's sad crew down, leave Chaeryeong, the girl who'll set us free, and Y/n.
I could see the crew struggling to take them down causing me to smile.
"I can fucking walk." Jeongyeon said pushing Lisa off of her.

"Damn it." I whispered.
There goes my plan.
"And you. I have no need for you anymore. Look." Olivia said in a broken sentence.
"What?" She forcefully took my head and turned it. There I saw the island that they abandoned me in the first time.
"I bet you recognize that."
"Of course I do." She let go of my face and tied my hands together.
"And you're going to go there with your little friend." She then pushed Chaeryeong towards me. I tried to back away because we were way too close for comfort.
"Are they going to walk the plank?"
"Are they a thing?" I rolled my eyes at the comments.
"Walk the plank." Olivia stated I sighed and walked further down the piece of wood. I looked back only to see Chaeryeong already diving in.
"Is this girl mental?" I whispered.
I felt someone walk the plank behind me, again.
I didn't bother to turn around.
"Hope you made the right choice choosing Olivia." She didn't say anything back, only giving me the pistol with one shot. "Goodbye." I whispered out.
I then jumped off the ship, leaving Jisu alone on the plank.
"It's the fucking same. How can this place still be the same!" I screamed at no one as Chaeryeong just sat there in the sand.
"I'm going to assume that you didn't have good memories here." Chaeryeong stated as she got up from her sitting position and went deeper into the trees.
There was almost no food here but there were coconuts. I shook a tree making one fall.
"Here, you know how to husk?" I asked. Chaeryeong just gave me a blank stare. "Never mind, I got it." The things I do for pretty people.
I gave half of the coconut to her.
"Do you know how to get off of here?" Chaeryeong asked while eating.
"I got lucky once, I doubt it's going to happen again."
"Well, what did you do?" I smiled at her.
"That's a secret." I then got up and tried to look for the secret container of rum.
"What are you doing?" Chaeryeong then got up to follow me as I started to jump around like an idiot.
"Trying to find something... got it!" I said happily as I felt the familiar wood bounce at the bottom of my feet. I then moved some sand over and opened the familiar door.

"Are you kidding me!" Chaeryeong yelled out as I took out a bottle of rum.
"What-" before I could say anything she grabbed it and tossed it back into the barrel.
"This is not the time to get drunk."
"I'm sorry but there's no way we're leaving here!" I then got the bottle of rum again and walked out leaving her behind. I heard her groan before she followed me.
"I thought you didn't like to drink?" I slurred a bit. I saw the way Chaeryeong chugged the bottle.
"I surprise a lot of people." I smiled at that.
"Yeah you do."
I don't know when or how but we managed to start a fire. It was also nighttime, making every Th ing creepy. But it was less creepy with Chaeryeong.
"So, princess... what's your plan of leaving this island?" I asked her drunkenly. I'm pretty sure I had about two bottles but it may be more.
"Signal fire." She said drinking from the bottle.
"Good luck with that! I'm gonna go night night now." I then dropped my head on the sand and fell asleep immediately.
Chaeryeong
I watched as she basically banged her head in the sand and fell asleep.
"My gosh how do you do that?" I whispered while shaking me head. What a drunk pirate, but attractive.
I then tried to sleep also but I couldn't due to the fact that I was in an island with Y/n.
Instead I thought of the past.
Mostly Yeji.
"Captain look!" The captain of the ship turned to see a wreck. Pieces of wood were everywhere and there was a fire where a ship has once stood.
I looked out to see a girl floating on a piece of wood.
"Look, there's a girl!" I yelled, everyone started to work, yelling and hauling the girl to the ship.
She was unconscious when she was brought up. The captain then ordered some men to put her on the table.
"Chaeryeong, make sure to watch over her." I nodded and jogged a bit to the girl. I noticed a necklace that she wore, me being curious I took it off of her and gasped.
It was a pirate necklace.
I quickly hid it in my dress.
All of a sudden the girl just gasped awake.
"Whe...where am I?" The scared girl stuttered out.
"It's ok, you're aboard a ship. My name is Chaeryeong." I said trying to calm her down. It seemed to work as she nodded and gave a small smile back.
"I'm Yeji, Yeji Hwang." I then told her to lay back down.
"Yeji, I have to tell you something." She smiled and looked up from her craft.
"And what is it milady?"
"My gosh stop being so sarcastic!" I exclaimed causing her to laugh.
"I'm sorry, it's so easy to mess with you."
"But I seriously do have something to tell." Yeji stopped working on her sword and gave me her full attention.
"What?" She said softly making me fall for her a little bit more.
Yes I have a crush on Yeji.
"I wanted to tell you about the day we met, I wasn't fully honestly with you..." I then took off her necklace and gave it to her. She took it, but gave it back to me.
"It's not that big a deal, you can have it." Yeji said with a smile.
"So... you're not mad?" Yeji shook her head no and gave me a hug.
"I could never be mad at you."
"Chaeryeong, is there something you'd want to tell me?" I angrily shook my head no.
"I have nothing to say to you."
"Seriously! That was my girlfriend and you basically scared her away! What's your problem!"
"I don't know what you're talking about!"
"You've been acting so weird these past few months! What is it! You can talk to me!" Yeji yelled out.
"I can't!"
"Why?"
"Because I fucking like you!" I screamed out. Yeji stopped and blinked at me. She didn't say a word for a good minute.
"No you don't..." Thats when I started crying.
Yeji held me the whole night and comforted me.
But she didn't like me back.
"I was so pathetic." I whispered out. I didn't realize that I was thinking for a while.
I looked up to see the sunrise.
"It's time for the fire..." I whispered out and brushed the sand off me. I then glanced at Y/n again.
She was sound asleep.
