"What're you doing, loser?" Bucky walks into Steve's house without a care in the world. Walking over to the kitchen counter you are sat on, ripping the papers out of your hand before you even get chance to explain.
"Steven Grant Rogers to enlist for the Second World War...Holy shit" Bucky gasps.
You snatch the papers back and give him a firm scowl. "Don't even think about trying to belittle him for this Barnes. He's really excited" You poke him in the chest and give him a firm glance. A smirk corners Bucky's lips "Oh flower I do love how you judge me" He narrows his eyes at you before taking an apple from Steve's fruit bowl and biting a chunk out of it, all while he keeps his eyes firmly on yours.
Steve appears out from the bathroom and coughs. Gaining you and Bucky to break eye contact.
"Everything okay in here?" Steve asks awkwardly. Knowing you two aren't exactly friendly.
"Why didn't you ask me to help you fill out the forms Steve, you know I would have" Bucky quickly answers.
"Subtle Barnes" You roll your eyes at him.
"I Uh...I" Steve tries to think of the right words.
"Maybe he didn't think you were capable of reading or writing, got to say I was pretty surprised myself" You grin a little and Steve chuckles. Bucky's eyes dart straight back to yours and he takes another bite of his apple, you roll your eyes and continue going through the application form.
"Do you know your blood type Steve?" You look up from the paper as you chew on the pen in your mouth.
"Type O" Steve calls back quickly. Without even thinking.
"How the hell do you even know that? Who on earth knows there blood type?" You laugh at how adorably fast be answered. Bucky joins in with the laughter and the tension eases.

"So you're really doing this huh?" Bucky asks after a little longer of all of you filling out the forms for Steve. Helping him as much as you can.
"Guess I wanted to fight by your side for a little longer" Steve smiles at Bucky. Making Bucky throw an arm around him. "I told you that I'd be with you til the end of the line pal" Bucky encourages Steve. You watched them and couldn't help but be filled with worry and proudness. Bucky puts an arm out and waves it over to you. "Oh no, don't get my involved in this soppy shit" You giggle.
"Hey! Language!" Steve calls out and you stick your tongue out at him playfully. Bucky doesn't give in and grabs your arm, dragging you off the kitchen counter and pulling you into a group hug.
"Who knew James Buchanan Barnes could be so sentimental?" You laugh as you all pull away from the hug. He turns back to you, pushing you over so you fall a little "That better?" Bucky chuckles. You get up and dust yourself off "Much" You reply back, giving him a punch in the arm.
"You two are so weird" Steve calls out to you both.
"We are not!" You and Bucky both shout at the same time. Making Steve raise his eyebrows at you in the I told you so kind of way.
"Screw your Steve!" You frown before making your way to the bathroom.
Bucky waits until your out of view before leaning in and whispering to Steve "You should have replied with when and where pal" Steve immediately turns a bright shade of red and Bucky laughs so hard he holds onto his stomach that's cramping form the hysterics.
"I don't know what you're trying to imply Buck but..."

"Oh cut the crap Steve. You've been in love with her for like thirteen years! Bite the bullet and do something about it" Bucky sighs.
Steve bites his lip and looks at the ground anxiously. Bucky was right. 100% right. Steve had been encompassed by you for aslong as he can remember, but on his thirteenth birthday Steve's parents couldn't really afford to celebrate, and Steve being the humble and quiet person he was just accepted that that was how it was and he was okay with it. But Daisy made it a challenge to make it the best birthday Steve would ever had.
She spent three hours learning how to bake a cake, covering it in rainbow sprinkles and chocolate chips, it was vanilla with a buttercream and jam filling. Steve's favourite. She even begged her father to buy Steve a pair of new shoes, his parents could never afford ones that fit properly so they would just buy whatever size was cheapest and Steve would have to make them work. If they were too small Steve's toes would blister form curling them inside the shoe. If they were too big Steve's mum would stuff newspapers into them to make them stuffed to fit. Steve will never forget the emotion he felt that day. When he opened the pair of plain black shoes that was exactly his size, not too big and not too small, just perfectly Steve size. He won't forget how he devoured so much of the cake that he was sick for the entirety of the night. But it was completely worth it. But most of all, he would never forget the smile on Daisy's face as she sang happy birthday to him, and the smile Steve's mother had as a tear streamed down her face. Knowing Daisy would always be there for Steve. That was the moment Steve knew that there would only ever be Daisy in his eyes when it came to women, and he hadn't changed his mind from the thirteen years that had past since then.
"Make a deal with me" Bucky judges Steve again, bringing him back from his thoughts.
"What kind of deal?" Steve immediately questioned. Knowing exactly what Bucky was like.
"If you ever get called out to fight on the line of duty, make sure you tell Daisy how you feel before you go" He says softly. Steve had never really seen this side of Bucky before. Him and Daisy had a Rocky and complicated friendship. They bickered and argued and drove eachother crazy. Steve was the one factor they agreed on, that they would always look out for him, no matter what.
Steve took a few breath and nodded "Okay...it's a deal Buck"
Bucky dramatically cheers. Running around the kitchen and lifting Steve up into the air before lowering him snd rustling his hair.
"What the hell got into him?" You laugh as you come out of the bathroom. Narrowing your eyes at Bucky who was acting like a literal lunatic.
Bucky stops dead in his tracks before him and Steve exchange looks for a brief moment.
"Oh..well uh..." Steve starts to stutter.
"Steve agreed to a game of monopoly, knowing that I'll kick his ass" Bucky immediately covers. Making Steve sigh out a giant breath of relief.
A devilish grin spreads across your face and you walk into the lounge for a brief moment, returning with monopoly in your hands.
"You're both going down!" You call out.

Gods How I Hate Nature
While there are always choices in life, lately they’ve all tended to skew between bad, terrible, and suicidal. Tome finds himself typically choosing the latter. As if people and plants consistently trying to kill him wasn’t bad enough, he finds himself sent off to a Mage Spire along with a self-righteous other worlder (as though there were any other kind). Add to this some powerful figures in black, a sadistic instructor, an uptight law keeper, and Tome just wants to go back to his room, down a pint, and forget about everything… But, when someone starts a fight, especially someone bigger and stronger, you bide your time and strength. Before you can get revenge, you have to settle for surviving and slowly gaining power. That means accepting the most suicidal choices, doing the jobs no one else will do, always smiling, and not slitting that other worlder’s throat… (The story will incorporate comedy, but it will be a dark story. This won't be a happy, uplifting tale, but it also won't be too morose or depressing. Though if you're rooting for the other worlders, then I suppose it will be...)
