I sat on the couch, contemplating weather I should have sent that or not. Was it bad to text back too fast or text at all? I realized that second guessing myself wasn't the best way to build back my self esteem. I focused back on the screen until the three dots of doom appeared to show that she was typing back. Sure enough, they did. I anxiously bit my nails waited for her reply. All of a sudden, it appeared.
What do you want?
I figure that she's not too happy about how I treated her at lunch yesterday. I decided what to say and started texting back.
I just wanted to tell you that I'm extremely sorry about how I treated you at lunch yesterday. I understand that I should've listened to what you were saying instead of jumping onto the bandwagon. I know I don't deserve to have your understanding but I wanted to apologize for what happened between us. I love you.
I realized that I might be coming on a bit strong when I said 'I love you' but, instead of deleting it, I ended up sending it by accident. I guess I'll just have to hope she doesn't think I'm weird or desperate, or worse, both.
hi sisters! we're getting close to the end of the book and the chapters are getting gradually shorter to build suspense for what's coming at the end. i hope you've enjoyed the book so far! thanks for all of your support!

First Draft
Taking care of someone was hard. Harder still when the only job you can find is a graveyard shift at your brother's school, which is apparently haunted by a man claiming to be the devil. Oh, no, how horrific. I'm so scared. So, terribly, horribly, atrociously scared. Whatever shall I do? My life as a janitor is a simple one, and that clingy asshole won't leave me alone, so forgive me if I don't put enough gravitas into the situation. The only really scary prospect to this whole thing is that the KKK is in town, and I really don't want to deal with their bull. The gang activity is enough, why do we need to have an all-out war on school grounds? That will be too much for me to clean as a poor, lonely graveyard janitor. Old Summary: My gaze raised, and I observed the darkened face of the ghost, only visible feature being glowing red eyes. They faded into darkness, and I thought the offer over even as the body seemed to grow heavier in my arms. My first friend since this whole thing started, a few years ago. My brother needed to survive. That didn't mean I did. "What's the price?"

8 71Falsely Yours, Arthur
Arthur Fucking walker would someday ruin me.•Ever since the day Marnie set her eyes on Arthur she knew she was done for. With dark eyes and dark hair, the girl in the band was someone she wanted to know everything about.Secrets would come out and blood would be bound to spill but in the green lights or the golden sun rays, Arthur would burn every soul to grant Marnie warmth.•Arthur's hand came up to my hips as she grabbed it tightly, staining my skirt with her bloody hands. My whole body was trembling. The knife.I turned around abruptly taking out my knife and pressing it to her neck, but she was quicker as she pressed her knife to my bare thigh. One of her hands was still on my hips as she pushed close to me.I flinched at the cold metal pressed on my upper thigh. But my hand didn't falter. I pressed the knife against her neck harder. A drop of blood dripped down her neck and trailed to her collarbone. Slowly trailing down and travelling down the curve of her and inside her shirt."What did you see my angel?" She asked, her voice mocking as she stepped closer. I took a step back my back meeting the cold metal and her knife sliding higher."Nothing," I whispered, panting.Fucking hell."Nothing, I saw nothing." I breathed out and she grinned."Shit liar baby." She shook her head kissing my temple and my collarbone. Her lips lingered for more than a second."Get your knife away from me." I grit my teeth."And here I thought you liked a knife between your legs." She whispered grinning, I swallowed as I could feel the blood drip down from the cut.
