Jack and I sat down at the table right next to each other.

"So Y/n, Noah meet Gavin and his son Jack." Mom said giving that mom stare to me and Noah.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Grazer!" I said looking at him then at mom. Mom and I both looked at Noah who was playing fortnite on his phone.

"Noah." She said clearing her throat.

Noah looked up from his phone slightly. "Yeah, um nice to meet you." Mom kicked him under the table and he set his phone down.

I started eating as Jack grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers together under the table. I looked up and smiled at him.

"So, Gavin. Have you had "the talk" with Jack yet?" Mom asked.

I immediately started choking on my steak and reached for my water.

"You mean the "sex talk" right?" He asked looking at mom.

"Yep."

"I have." He said. "What about y/n?"

"We've been trying to find a good time to talk about it." She replied.

To be 100 percent honest, it's way to late for that. I'm already dirty minded enough as it is. I looked up at Jack and saw him laughing. I hit him in the stomach. He winced out in pain.

"Jack honey, are you okay?" My mom asked concerned.

"Yep." He said softly. I began to laugh quietly to myself.

"How's the moving process going?"

"It's moving along. We should be out in the next few weeks."

Jack leaned over to me. "I have to tell you something."

"We can't risk talking. Text me later."

After dinner, we talked for a while and played a couple board games.

"Okay. I have an announcement." My mom said standing up from the couch.

"This can't be good." I said nervously to Jack.

"I really need to tell you something." Jack whispered.

"Hold on a second." I said listening intently.

"Gavin and I have been thinking, since he needs to get some stuff for the move done for the next couple weeks, we'll have Jack stay with us until you guys move in to your new house."

"What?" I said looking at Jack.

"Surprise!?" He said nervously.

"But only if it's okay with Jack." My mom said smiling at Jack.

"Are you sure you're comfortable with staying here for a couple weeks?" Mr. Grazer asked Jack.

I stared at Jack scared of his answer.
