Erin's P.O.V
6:30 a.m
*BEEP* BEEP*
I groan at the noise of my alarm telling me to get up and get ready for school. My hell. At least I get away from my father, I don't think he even deserves to be called a dad. Anyways I roll out of bed and get dressed, then I go to my bathroom to wash my face and etc. It's now 7:00 so I go downstairs to grab something for me and Cameron to eat. Shit. Cameron isn't even up yet. I quickly run down to his room and wake him up. "Cam get up it's 7:00 already" I say shaking him. He quickly gets up and runs over to his closet to find something to wear. "You can go to the car I'll be out shortly" he said still running around his room. I walk out to Cam's car and start it so it's nice and warm. Shortly Cam came out with his practice bag and school bag. He looks at me and says "You ready?", I just nod and go on my phone. It takes about 10 minutes to get to school, so when we get there we are early and have time to do homework, talk with friends or whatever. I get out of the car and start to walk up to the school building trying to find my one friend Jessica. "E, over here!" I here her say. I turn around and start walking over to her. "Did you hear there's going to be a new kid??" she says pulling me over to the tree we normally wait by together. "New kid?" I say looking at her with a 'oh great' face. I don't like people, especially new ones. "Come on Erin maybe this person will be different" Jess says knowing that I don't like new people. "I don't know Jess" I say and look down. I sigh hearing the bell telling us to get our stuff an to head to class. I can't wait for the day to be over, thank god I don't have to go home, I'm staying the night at Jessica's tonight. It's now lunch, the only thing I like at school. Jess and I go to our normal spots, over by the big oak tree. We talk about what we are going to do tonight and all that stuff. Then she brings up the new kid. Great. " You never know E, he could be different from the other assholes here" Jessica said eating her salad. A boy. Oh god. " Jess you know my history with guys" I groan and take a bite of my sandwich. " I know, I know, but still he could be different" she says shrugging. Ugh why does it have to be a boy. Why not just another girl that would've probably just bully me like everyone else. The bell rings telling us lunch is over. Jess and I go to our study hall in the library. We always sit in the back corner so no one sees us. "I've heard his name is Jack and he's moving here from LA" Jess starts talking about the new kid again. " Fun a LA boy, he'll fit right in with the popular jocks." I say rolling my eyes. Hopefully this boy is different. It's now the end of the day, finally. I grab my bags and go to find Cameron. I couldn't find him so decided to just text him. [Convo]

Me- Hey Cam I'm getting a ride from Jessica's brother to her house text me if dad acts up or if you need me to come home Love ya broster
Cam🐻- Okay sure will, I might stay at Justin's tonight Love u too
I put my phone away and wait for Jessica by her locker. Once she grabbed her things from her locker and texted her brother we waited by the curb. Her brother soon pulled up and drove up to Jessica's. "I'll see you later Jess, I have practice, Love u" Jordyn said and backed out of the driveway. "Well what movie should we watch?" Jess asked I smirk saying " A horror movie", Jess gives me a 'oh hell no' look and I just laugh. " Let's watch Mean girls instead" Jess said searching it on Netflix. " Fine you fun hater" I laugh and grab some of the popcorn. This night was one of the most fun I've had in a while. It was around 2 am when Jess and I finally fell asleep.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia
"Why are my hands getting warmer?" As far as Alicia was concerned, she was the daughter of a rich businessman attending high school. Then, she feels off and at the same time, she's not. One week later, her best friend brought her to another world(s). This is Alicia Bell's tale. 1st book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo. Crossposted with Wattpad, WordPress, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu.
