Jack was washing there breakfast dishes when he saw Amy's truck approaching. She pulled up outside the fence grabbed Lyndy and walked into the house.
Jack wondered why she was here so early.
Amy walked in saying morning and Lisa took Lyndy off her for a cuddle so Amy got a coffee and sat down.
She saw her Grampa looking at her and started thinking then got her note book out and looked.'Ty message '.
"I had a message this morning from Ty". She found the message and handed it to Jack to read.
"Amy. I love you so much but need to be quick. We were all kidnapped at airport. Think we're in Africa under armed guard from hunters. We help injured animals for them. Bob dead and two other Vets. Going to leave phone on and put it back where they keep them. First chance I had to find it. See if they can find us. This goes up high in government. Be careful.
Love you both. Xx
Jack stared at the message.
"I'm glad he's alive, this explains why he hasn't been in touch till now if they took their phones off them.
We need to be careful who we approach ".
"I wonder if I phone Liz whether her dad could help".
"Well as you know them better than I do can you trust him".
"Yeah, he's not into hunting and I think I know him well enough".
"Talk to Liz first just to be careful and see what she says ".
"Okay, I'll phone her later".
"I'm glad he was able to get intouch Amy, must be a relief for you".
"It is Grampa, I just want him back".
Ty was sat out the Tent when he saw Ellis and his men walk back to the Helicopter with the same person, except Ellis didn't go with them this time.

"Why aren't you working Borden".
"On my tea break".
"You seem to have a lot of tea breaks, would you like me to pay your wife a visit".
"Leave her out of this Ellis, she probably thinks I'm dead anyway".
"Yeah, but it may give you the incentive to make you work harder".
"Okayyy, my tea breaks over, just leave her alone".
"Just so you know, we've been keeping an eye on everyone's family and I'm surprised she's till alive".
"What do you mean".
"Well my man tells me that he found out that she tried to kill herself after you left her, then her father almost killed her with a piece of rebar while he was drunk as a skunk, almost smashed her skull in. She's a tough one that wife of yours, oh and your daughters a real cutie. Now get back to work".
Ty walked back in wondering what the hell Amy had been through and he wasn't there, also he had a Daughter". He had a grin on his face which lasted all day while he worked on animals that inexperienced hunters could only wound and bring them suffering .
All the Vets were disgusted with and Ty only hoped they could be rescued sooner rather than later.
Amy made the call using the landline at Maggie's just incase these people were monitoring her mobile number.
She spoke to Liz who she met with her parents in France and explained what had happened to Ty and all the other Vets, including the danger they were in. She also mentioned that she was worried about not just hers and Lyndys safety of the others if they tried to motivate the Vets by threatening their families.
Liz was certain her father would be horrified about what was happening especially if those in high places were involved. Amy left it with Liz who said she would get back to her.
To be continued.

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have. The Saga of Armageddon: The Call of Crows
Bjorn Stormtamer's world has been turned upside down in more ways than one. His shipmates have left him for dead on an island for quarantining victims of a disease that he now has. His partner in battle despises him, his family thinks he's dead and everyone else thinks it was good riddance. Moreover, the world is under attack by a virulent plague that kills with light and an empire from the east whose intentions are unknown but whose methods are merciless and bloodthirsty. Little does he know that the world itself is nearly on the brink of cosmic collapse. But when a bold, charismatic woman from another nation seeks him out, Bjorn discovers that the plague he has was not a plague at all, but a trial. A trial to determine who is worthy to wield the power of gods in order to give humanity a fighting chance against the winds of fate. This novel was written 2 years ago and isn't exactly my best work. I'm still improving my skills, but I encourage you to enjoy it for what it's worth. ALSO, the whole plague thing was written about before the COVID pandemic. The plague is fake and actually magic in the story, but that has NOTHING to do with real world events. I am under NO CIRCUMSTANCE trying to make ANY kind of statement with it. Please just enjoy the story and stay safe.
