《This Isn't Mongolia》Chapter Four

While Lou was still in the corridor she sat down and phoned Lisa.
"Hello Lou."
"Hi Lisa, I need you to check up on something but Don't tell Grandpa yet."
"Okay, what do you need.".
"Lisa, the Doctor told me this morning that a Mongolian Aircraft disappeared late yesterday in a Storm over the mountains, but I don't know if Ty and Bob were on that one or another one, can you check it out.".
"Omg, Lou I hope that he wasn't on it. Leave it to me, I'll get back to you.".
Thanks Lisa, Err you better get Grampa to let Dad know what's going on".
"Okay will do.".
In Mongolia they had the black box signal and were closing in on the site.
Jack phoned Tim to tell him what had happened and the reason they didn't tell him before was because as usual he would try to bully the staff for answers and say the wrong things.
Lisa finished doing her checks on line then told Jack she left something in the car, when she was by the car she phoned Lou.
"Hi Lisa, what you find out".
"Hi Lou, not good. Ty wasn't on that plane according to the passenger list and the've found the wreckage , no survivors, apparently it flew into the side of the mountain at over 400mph".
"Where the hell is he then, this doesn't make any sense".
"I know Lou".
" Make sure Grandpa takes his Heart tablets before you tell him please."
"I will Lou. ".
Tim arrives at Heartland full of bluster as usual. Lisa grabs him and takes him outside.
" Tim shut up and Listen. Something terrible has happened since Jack phoned you I've told Jack and not long finished telling Lou.".

"Okay, how terrible can it be more than my Daughter trying to kill herself. "
"Did you hear about the Mongolian plane crash (Tim nods) well Ty thankfully wasn't on it and, he's missing Tim".
"What, does Amy know. ".
"Amy's sedated Tim, and will be for another couple of days but she cannot be told when she wakes up. The Doctor said that this is going to be a delicate matter of timing, when to tell her but it will be before she leaves the hospital in case they have to sedate her again. This is going to hit her so hard Tim. ".
"Jeez, I can't imagine what it's going to do to her Lisa, she loves him so much.".
"We know Tim. She's going to need all of us. ".
"What about Georgie, does she know?"
"Lou's with her now".
They both walked in and Tim went up to Jack, "I'm so sorry Jack, I really am".
Lisa came In with Coffee and sat down then the three of them heard Georgie scream "NOOOO".
After a while Lou came down full of tears, Tim stood and pulled her up into a hug.
"How's she doing Lou".Lisa asked.
"Blaming herself for going on about it to Ty and pushing for him to go without thinking about Amy's feelings".
"I'm just glad she wasn't here when Amy tried to, you know ".Jack says in a low voice.
"I can't believe she would do that, it's just not like her".says Tim.
"Dad, you have to understand she wasn't thinking straight, her husband choose Animals welfare instead of his pregnant wife and turned that whole argument of him holding her back to her holding him back. She was devastated, of course we can thank Bob for talking him into it, and let's not forget what Caleb would of probably said about being famous and Amy being proud of him, I can just imagine it".

"So Amy's still sedated then". Tim asked.
"Yes but only for another day, possibly two.".
"Why did they do it Lou".
"Because she was in Shock dad, almost comatose because she realised what she'd done. ".
Tim said his goodbyes and said he'd see them tomorrow and left.
Jack got up and went to see Georgie.
Lisa put the News channel on to see if there was any more information about the crash.
When it came to the Air crash the weather had cleared and the footage just showed a Black mark against the side of the mountain with some wreckage lower down, the authorities gave a brief statement saying that the plane and passengers were Vaporized in the explosion and there was nothing left except a small part of the Tail of the Plane. Lisa turned it off.
Two days later Amy was awake and though sad she was okay, Lou was dreading this as she now had to tell Amy that Ty and all the Vets were missing and asked the Doctor to be near by incase he was needed to sedate her again which he really didn't want to do.
The Doctor was watching and listening to her monitors just incase as Lou held Amy in her arms as she told her what had happened.
He heard her Sobbing as Lou told her but the monitors Alarms never went off so left them alone. Lou held her for what seemed like hours, eventually Amy drifted off to sleep so Lou went out the room to phone home and let Jack Lisa and Tim know how it went.
Two days later Amy was allowed to go home so Lisa and Jack came to pick her and Lou brought some clothes for Amy. Lou sat in the back of the car holding Amy, that's all she wanted, to be held.
Lou suggested she stay in her old room until she felt ready to go back to the Loft if she ever did want to go.
That evening at dinner Tim turned up as usual, they were all about to eat when Tim asked where Amy was , Lou said she was asleep. Tim mentioned that she needed to eat and started to get up when Jack told him to sit down and leave her be.

My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe...
Xavier had a happy, humdrum life: normal friendships, a normal girlfriend, a somewhat oddball family. Until, that is, he literally stumbled through the fourth wall and discovered he was the protagonist of a manga. Now he's scrambling to maintain any semblance of control over his own life in the face of something he never imagined he would need to contend with: the power of the Genre. Hello, E.O. Tenkey here; thank you for your interest in "Not A Manga"! This was my first serial novel, and I hope you enjoy Xavier's predicament! Familiarity with manga not required (though it can't hurt)! I look forward to exploring the bounds of the Genre with you. (First volume is rated PG-13 for comic mayhem and light profanity—these are high school students, after all. Second volume is rated PG-13 to R for some violence and similar levels of profanity. Tags may or may not contain spoilers.)

Average chapter length: 2500 Tags and content warnings are mainly to give me creative freedom later on. This is my first novel ever, and English isn’t my native language, so go easy on me chaps. YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!
