《Scream (Billy Loomis x Reader)》Chapter 6

Billy grabbed my wrist and took me outside. We stood by the stairs leading to Stu's front door and stared at the dark sky in a comfortable silence.
Billy stepped closer to me, our faces inches apart.
"Are you sure you're okay will all this?" Billy asked.
"I- I don't know what you mean."
"The deaths. They don't bother you?"
"I wasn't really close to any of them." I explained.
"Still, I mean.. you just got here. Is this something you're used to?"
"No, but-"
I was interrupted by the scream of a girl.
Billy and I ran to the source of the noise.
Laying on the cold hard floor in front of me was half a blond girl with her other half on the opposite side of a garage door. I stood there for about five minutes, observing her body.
"Are you okay?" Billy asked me.
"Yeah. I'm fine. It's just.. something about this death seems.."
"I'm going to have to ask you kids to step out of my way." was what a police officer behind me said.
The blond girls body was moved and I caught a glimpse of her face.
It was Mia.
Something about this death seems.. familiar.
Billy, Stu, and I, along with the other kids were brought in for questioning.
"Due to the circumstances you are going to have to be questioned again today. Are you okay with that?" the police officer asked.
"Mhm."
"I was told that moments before her death, you talked to Mia. Is this true?"
"Yes."
"What is it you spoke about?" the man asked.
"We talked about how I got questioned this morning."
"Is that all?"
"That's all." I said.

"What happened after that?" he asked.
"Excuse me?"
"She walked over to the garage after this happened right?" the man asked already knowing the answer.
"Yes."
"Why is that?" he asked.
"I don't remember."
I lied.
"Are you sure?" the persistent police officer asked.
"I'm sure."
"You didn't see anyone go after her?"
"No. I didn't." I told the man.
"Alright then. You're free to go." he said.
"What?"
"Well if you have nothing else to say then I have no reason to keep you here. I'll have a police officer drive you back home." he insisted.
"That's okay. I'd rather walk." I told him.
When I stepped out of the police officers office I saw both Billy and Stu. I tiredly walked over to them.
"Hey, guys."
"Hey, Y/n! Do you need a ride back home?" Stu asked.
"You don't mind?" I asked him.
"Not at all."
The three of us got into Stu's car and he started driving.
While in the car my head started getting heavier and with that I fell asleep on Billy's shoulder. I was awoken by Billy slightly lifting me off of him.
"We're here." he spoke quietly.
"Thanks guys."
I started walking out until I heard,
"Do you want us to stay?"
"Thanks, Billy. I'll be fine though. I'll talk to you later. Bye!"
The two eventually drove off after insisting on staying and I went inside my home. I walked up to my bedroom, tiredly took off my clothes and put on a tank top along with some comfortable pants and brushed my teeth.
I went to bed and was about to drift off to sleep until I heard ringing down stairs. I let the phone ring for a good five minutes until I sighed in defeat realizing they would just keep calling.

I picked up the phone.
"Don't ignore me, Y/n."
"I'm tired!" I wined.
"I want to play a game." he said completely ignoring what I had just said.
"Fine."
"Movie trivia!" he yelled.
"What do I get if I win?" I asked.
"Your survival."
"Fun." I said with a hint of sarcasm.
"First question.. What was the name of the killer in 'Halloween'?"
"Michael Myers." I said with a fake yawn.
"Yes! Very good!" he exclaimed.
"Now. Name the killer in Friday the 13th."
"Pamela Voorhees!" I yelled.
"Oh? They usually don't make it this far."
"They?" I asked.
"It doesn't matter. You passed!"
"No more questions?" I asked a bit disappointed.
"Nope! That was all. Do you have any questions for me?"
"Who are you?" I asked not expecting a real answer.
"Ghostface!"
"Right. Does this mean I'm talking to a murderer?"
"That's right!" he yelled.
"Who's your next victim?" I asked.
"I'm afraid I can't tell you that."
"Alright then, when?" I asked annoyed.
"Can't say."
"Can you tell me anything about it?" I asked
"Yeah, you're gonna love this one. It's a scream, baby!"
Before I could say anything more I heard my front door open and 'Ghostface' hang up.
Shit.
"Y/n? What are you doing up so late? You have school in the morning!" my mom yelled.
"It was cancelled for the week."
"Why?" she asked with a hint of worry in her voice.
"Uh.. I don't know. Construction? Anyways, how was work?" I said trying to change the subject.
"Oh! Work was great! I came to pick up a few things! Your father's taking me on a trip!"
Father.
"Edward?" I asked.
"Mhm! Doesn't that sound fun!?" she asked with excitement in her voice.
"When will you be back?" I asked with a hint of disapproval in my voice.
"In a couple days! I should be back by Sunday!"
"Your boss is okay with that?" I asked.
"Of course!"
"Okay then. Have fun, Mom!" I said trying to sound happy for her.
As much as I wanted to grab my mothers arm and tell her about everything that was going on I couldn't. If I did she wouldn't go on the trip. As much as I didn't want her to go, I knew this was something she had to do. She deserved it. She's worked so hard and deserves a break. As much as I hated Edward, I couldn't ruin that for her.
"Did you have anything to eat, hon?"
"Yeah. I was just about to go to bed." I told her.
"Alright then! Don't stay up too late! Good night, Y/n!" she yelled as I ran upstairs.
"Good night, Mom."
By the time I was laying in bed I heard my mom closing the front door and Edward driving off with her.
'I hope she has a good time.' I thought.
Feeling tired, I turned off the lights in my bedroom and finally drifted off to sleep.
