Aleksios P.O.V:
After I showered and got dressed I joined Nik and Marcel at a table in the bar room, and Nik with a bottle of bourbon in hand.
"I think it was far more gracious than they deserved." Nik says and I'm comfused. Marcel glares at my twin, who begins pouring them drinks.
"Who? What? Where?" I ask them taking a drink.
"Your brother thought it was a good idea to make an enemy out of the human counsel." Marcel says bitterly.
"You're disappointed by my lack of diplomacy. You out of all people should need no reminder of the human capacity for cruelty." Nik says before I could comment to Marcel.
Marcel remains silent at this and Nik' phone buzzes, and he rises from the chair to answer it.
"Hello?" Nik answers and I listen in.
"Mr. Mikaelson. I just wanted to let you know that the faction's considered your terms. We've reached a decision." I hear a male voice say from the other side.
"Have you?" The blonde says amused.
Suddenly, an explosion is heard from outside, and large amounts of automatic gunfire pierces through the walls and windows of the compound, scattering broken glass all over the bar room. Some daywalkers are hurt by the gunfire, and many of the nightwalkers go up in flames when they're hit by the sunlight. Someone screams. Marcel hurries to save one of the burning vampires from exposure, but himself Nik and I are hit by machine gun shots. Marcel collapses and falls onto the floor in pain as Klaus covers him with his body, clearly furious.
My brain is only on one thing.
"Davina!" I yell out speeding around the compound looking for her.
I find her taking cover in the kitchen ducking behind a cupboard. I see some bullet holes and immediately I'm alarmed.
"You alright?" I ask her and she nods. I extend my hand towards her, which she takes, and I gently pull her up.
She has a cut on her head and sways a little on her feet and I steady her. Whoever is responsible for this won't live long enough to see the next sunrise. I can barely keep my anger at bay but when I look at her, it fades a little. I bite into my wrist and extend it towards her. She looks at it in disgust and shakes her head.
"Either you drink my blood or I take you to a hospital." I tell her and her eyes widen. She takes my wrist that's almost healed and begins drinking.
I pull her towards me and pull her back to my chest. The feeling is like something I've never experience before. It gives me a rush and I have to bite my lip to surpress a moan of delight.
She finishes all to quickly for my liking and pulls away. She looks better now and I grin when I she two blood stains at the corners of her mouth.
I wipe at my own mouth indicate that she has something on her mouth. She take the hint and wipes her mouth and a blush covers her cheeks as I barely resist the urge to kiss her senseless.
"Come on." I say to her and I start waking out of the kitchen.

"Where are we going?" She asks me curiously.
"To find Marcel and my brother." I answer her as she starts walking besides me.
By the time we find them in the bar room all of my anger has faded but I know as soon as I find who did this, there will be no stopping me. The room is now empty and the furniture's disarranged. The burned skeleton of a nightwalker lays near them.
"Dammit, dammit, dammit!" Marcel says furiously. He becomes so enraged that he flips a table before angrily pointing at my twin. "This is on you! Now that you're in charge, these are your guys laying dead. Your guys. You're gonna run this city, that better mean something to you, otherwise no one worth a damn is gonna follow you. No one!" He yells at Nik and I would have become enraged with him but he's right and Davina is right next to me.
"Yelling won't solve anything." I say calmly to Marcel as I speed infront of him.
"How are you so calm?" Marcel asks very confused and I sigh.
"She keeps my anger and temper at bay but don't tell her I said that." I tell him softly, soft enough for her not to hear.
Marcel nods at me but glares at Nik. Glancing at him I see instead of being angry at him, Nik merely smiles as Marcel turns away from him.
"I was beginning to worry about you. I don't think I could've taken any more of this differential nonsense. I mean, clearly I underestimated the faction. That won't happen again. But, tell me-- now that we've arrived to this point, now that they have come into our home, visited this upon our people... How would you counsel me to respond?" Nik ask him sincerly as I slowly walk back to Davina's side.
"I say we murder the lot of them." I give my imput which gets me a slap on the arm from the little witch.
"You can't just kill them." She says throwing her hands in the air as I turn fully to her.
"I can and I will. No one attacks my home and hurts you and lives." I tell her seriously and her eyes widen.
"Okay." She whispers and I'm relieved because I know if she asked me not to do it, I wouldn't have. And that scares me. I turn to the two males and I see they are looking at us in disbelief.
"She gets to hit you and doesn't lose her head or gets pranked for a month?" Nik ask in a tone matching his expression and I shrug with a slight smile.
"Let's go kill them all." Marcel says determined and I nod. They speed away and I go to follow.
"I thought you walked away." I hear her say behind me. I turn back and I look her in the eyes.
"I walked away. I didn't stop caring." I tell her honestly and with that I speed away.

Following my brother's scent I end up at Roussouw's. What the...
"One question: why does she get to hit you without any repercussions?" Nik asks curiously.
"That really has you tickled doesn't it?" I ask him with a grin and he gives me a 'seriously, I want to know' look.

"What did you tell me the other night before our sleepover?" I ask him and realisation draws in him.
"Oh yeah." He says in a 'duh' tone and I nod with a sarcastic smile.
"So here's the plan." Nik says to Marcel and I suddenly and I listen. Apparently he called a counsel meeting on behalf of father Kieran to the counsel and vica versa.
Walking into the bar, while Marcel goes around back, I listen to their conversation.
"I thought you called this meeting...?" Father Kiernan asks confused.
"The hell we did." The male who was on the phone with Nik says.
Nik and I enters the room and approaches their table.
"Actually, I called it. It appears I made a grave error during our earlier conference. My friend Marcel offered me wise counsel, and I failed to heed it." Nik announces and I see the man smirk.
"I'm glad to hear you've learned your lesson." He says smugly and my anger flares. He is the reason Davina got hurt.
"Oh, I won't be making that mistake again." He raises his voice to call out to the back room. "Marcel!"
"You see what you did was very dumb because in that shooting someone very special to Lex over there-" He says pointing to me and I let my hybrid eyes and fangs show. "-got hurt. And now she's out for blood."
"You see my twin doesn't care about very many people apart from our family but when she does, she protects them with everything she's got. And she, like myself, is an Original Hybrid." My twin says and I smile devilishly at the smug man who is now almost pooping his pants.
I speed to him and I kick him in the stomach which sends him flying across the room. I hear gasps around me but I don't care. My anger needs to be unleashed.
Marcel speeds to another man and stabs him in the neck. Marcel grins, content, as the man bleeds and the rest of the restaurant patrons scream. My blue eyed brother approaches him, smiling.
"Shall we...?" Nik asks him, grin never fading.
"After you!" Marcel says matching his grin and I turn to man.
I speed to him and I grab him by the neck and lift him in the air.
"You're lucky something didn't happen to her because I would have killed your entire family while you watched." I snarl at him and with my free hand I break both of his hands and he screams in agony.
"You think this is bad, imagine my wrath had something happened to her! You think of us vampires as monsters that lurks in the shadows but what you did, how does that make you anyless of a monster than me?! She's good, kind, honest and you could've taken her from me!" I continue to snarl at him and he's shaking in fear. I let his feet touch the ground and I bite him it the neck with my wolf teeth. It may not kill him but it will hurt like a bitch.
I drop him to the floor and I kick him like a soccer ball, not feeling any regret. I should but I don't. He hurt her.
"No one hurts her and lives." I snarl visiously at him and he looks at me, nearly dead, with pleading eyes.
I speed to him and I pull him up.
"Not so smug now are you?" I ask him with a murderous grin and then I start compelling him, stupid human. He's aware of vampires yet the doesn't drink vervain. "You will feel every second of the pain I just put you through as I drink you dry." I finish compelling him and I start to drain him. When I'm done I shove him to the ground and I turn around feeling a lot less angry and much better.
Nik, Marcel and father Kieran are all looking at me in horror. The two have never seen this side of me, Nik has but I doubt this bad. I have never liked violence but I can enfore it. Marcel never really saw me angry and father Kieran barely knows me.
Around them there many dead bodies on the floor.
"Well, uh remind me to never piss you of." Father Kieran says after he clears him throat.
"Yeah, me too." Marcel adds, still in shock over what he just witnessed.
Nik smiles at me and then looks at Kieran."There he is. Our lone survivor. Such a sad day for our city." He pats Father Kieran on the shoulder. "Some of its best and brightest killed in a tragic boating accident on the Mississippi. Rather nasty explosion, I heard." He says and I snort.
"Best and brightest my ass." I say with a scoff.
He looks Kieran in the eyes. "What am I going to do with you?"
Marcel stands up and joins us anxiously. "Okay, hold up. I've known Kieran for a long time. He's smart and he's fair. I think he can do us more good alive than dead. Not to mention he's Cami's uncle." Nik looks at him with suspision so Marcel continues. "Don't see you care about things much- it's kinda hard not to notice when you do." He says and then turns to me. "And he kept Davina's secret when he could have ratted her out to the witches." He tells me and I groan.
"Fine! He lives." I say and Marcel sighs in relief, knowing if I agree so will my twin.
"Very well. Use this reprieve to remake your human faction." Nik says and I snicker. Remake an entire faction?
"And how do you expect me to remake the Mayor?" The father asks overwhelmed. I feel you.
"Well, surely there's a deputy Mayor? Choose new leaders. Then we'll re-open negotiations." Nik retorts and I snicker again.
"Smart ass." I say and he grins at me and starts to leave. I follow after him, as does Marcel.

Okay, here you go.
So Lex has a very violent side when it comes to Davina and her family.
Anyways, my exams starts the 22nd May and ends the 22nd June. So during that month I won't update at all.
I hope you can understand.
I will try to update as much as I can until then but I'm very busy.

Courier
Zoe Blanco moved to New York after fleeing the small town she grew up in and the Purity Church that controls it. The Church believes in keeping humanity pure. This means none of the NanoPCs known as Frames or any other cybernetics that most of the rest of the world uses and enjoys everyday. Upon arriving in the Big Apple, Zoe is picked up by her cousin and witnesses a courier weaving their motorcycle through traffic. Zoe envies the courier's freedom. Couriers transport data and on occasion small objects for anyone willing to pay the price. Secured delivery is guaranteed and no questions are asked. Like having a human servant in this corporate owned world, using couriers is seen as a status symbol for the wealthy and corporate elite. New York's criminal underground uses couriers for similar reasons. This gives the hundreds of couriers in NYC steady work. After weeks of not finding a job while living with her aunt and cousin, Zoe turns to her slicing skills to steal credits from the Purity Church and turns to the mob so she can get a loan to pay for the internal secure storage space a courier needs and a frame for herself. After making an unlicensed run or two, Zoe finds employment with a transport company and truly starts her life as a courier. This story is a mix of light scifi, cyberpunk, slice of life, a dash of action, and a smidge of fantasy. Slicing is what hacking is called in this story. Credits are currency in this story.
