《HER LOVE • davina claire》8 | A PLAN AND A PARTY

"We need you to do a locator spell to find Elijah." I said bluntly, getting staight to the point.
"Are you out of your mind? No way." Sophie asks incredulously. We had just ask her to perform a locator spell on Elijah and my control on my temper is slipping fast as she continues to say 'no'. I can sense Hayley outside the door, most probably eavsdropping and this brings an amused smile to my face by my temper is still hot.
"It's very simple. We need you to perform a teeny, tiny locator spell to help us find our brother." Bekah tells her simply, like I had told her just seconds before.
"Maybe I should motivate her." I tell Sophie in a threatening manner. I hear Nik chuckle and I smiled as he nodded, knowing I wouldn't do anything to hurt Hayley or the baby.
I sped to the witch, grabbed her by the neck and pinned her to the wall, hand above her head. Her heartbeat sped up and she looked at me with wide eyes, fear shining in her eyes. "Either you do the spell, or I will go and kill one of the witches, more than likely an elder." I growled at her, my Hybrid face out.
"Witches who practice magic in this town get caught, and then they get killed." Sophie panted put, struggling in my hold while I just smirked at her because what she didn't realize was the more she moved, the more she hurt herself.
"Yes, about that. It seems you left out a crucial detail when we made our deal, Marcel's secret weapon, the way he knows when a witch is using magic..." Nik says and my curiosity is spiked by the mention of the girl I've had stuck in my head the whole day long, but I'd never show it.
"Girl about yea high, cute as a button, anger issues?" Bekah asks and Sophie looks shocked when she realizes who they're talking about.
"Davina? Where have you seen her?" She says, clearly shocked and her body slumped in my hold because of the shock and a pleasant shiver runs down my spine again at the mention of the witch girl. Ok, what the hell?
I let the witch go and she sighed in relief as she rubbed her wrists. "I don't know. The little brat erased my memory right after she threw me out a window with her bloody mind." Bekah says and one part of me winced. That had to hurt. But the other part a bigger part, felt proud of this Davina girl for holding her own.
"Next time, bring me along." I tell Bekah and she nods, knowing that magic doesn't affect me. Though I really wanted to meet this witch girl that has been up in my mind.
"Let me cut to the chase. Davina has Elijah. You witches, I assume, want to get Davina away from Marcel. We don't know where she is. Ergo, we need magic." Nik says. The shivers has stopped but I get this weird feeling in my stomach, it's like someone is flapping something in there. Oh for love of all that's holy, what am I twelve?

Then concern bloomed in me as something resisters in my brain, "What do you want with Davina?" I asked with a glare on my face.
"Witch business." She answers vaguely, causing me to narrow my eyes at her as she turned back to my siblings. "Davina would sense it." Sophie says and the feeling fluttering feeling comes back but only more intensely. Okay, now I'm getting annoyed. What is going on with me? Sure it's a nice feeling, scratch that, heavenly feeling but still...
"Unless, of course, another witch, say a traitor to the cause, Katie for example, was to perform much more powerful magic at the same time. That would create a smokescreen, concealing your very small spell from Davina." Bekah says and a smile lights up my face as excitement grows in me. I see my Nik glance at me, looking at me weirdly and I shake my head. He gives me an 'you'll tell me later' and I nod.
"Katie doesn't deserve to die." Sophie says and I sigh glancing at my twin, knowing that he's about to explode. Nik angrily slams his hands on the table and stands up to face her.
"Sophie Deveraux! You're in no position to be so principled. You can't win a war without a few strategic losses, no matter how regrettable they may be. How many times have the vampires been one step ahead, known something they shouldn't? Your sister, executed in the public square for practicing magic- who knew she'd be caught? Did she even attempt to flee?" He asks her and I stand up from the couch incase he gets caught up in the heat of the moment and tried to hurt her. Don't get me wrong, I don't care about Sophie but I do care about Hayley and my twin's child.
"She was caught hiding in a cargo hold of a freighter before it set sail down the Mississippi." She says stunned in realization, finally putting the piece together and I did as well.
"And who, pray tell, of Marcel's valued inner circle manages his business at the docks?" He asks and it finally hits me. Huh, never thought about that.
"Katie's boyfriend, Thierry." Sophie answered with a sigh of agreement.
"Lets go." Nik said, glancing at me.
"Where to?" I asked, confusion filling me slightly.
"The compound." He answered before speeding of and I followed not far behind him.

We are listening to Thierry play his trumpet in the courtyard as various vampires mill around in preparation for the party that Marcel told us about once we arrived. Nik, Marcel and I stand nearby and watch. He plays exceptionally well.
"You're right. He's good." Nik says and I roll my eyes. He has no appreciation of class.
"Good? He's bloody fantastic. If I weren't gay..." I said, bitting my best bottom lip qnd looking at Thierry - who's head snaps me as the words exit my mouth and I give him a flirty smile.
"Right? Music man, I call him. Ladies love him, but he's spoken for. He knocks around with this pretty little witch. Says he loves her, but I don't know." Marcel says and my eyebrows shoots to the roof as I realised that our plan just went down the drain but then I saw an opportunity to do one of my favorite things. Teasing people.

"Do I even need to remind you that you told Beks you would marry her someday when you where all but the ripe of age of ten?" I asked Marcel, a teasing grin on my face. He looks to me and opens his mouth to say something but just closes it again and my grin widened in victory as I looked and listened at Thierry again.
"Your brightest soldier is fraternizing with your enemy, and you don't care?" Nik asks skeptically, and I look to Marcel, waiting for his answer.
"Well, of course I care, but Thierry is a grown man. He makes his own choices, and I get some good intel. Besides, he's not gonna do anything to jeopardize what we're doing here. I mean, check this out, a vampire hosting a ritzy charity event? We have a community here. No one's gonna mess that up." Marcel says and I nodded, I did see his point.
"Still... You don't want the witches to get too bold, given that a witch's tip about a werewolf in town led to the disappearance of your nightwalkers. I'm sure you've considered the possibility that it could've been a trap." Nik tells him and I have to hide a smile at how fast my twins provided with the new information he got.
"Well, maybe I'll send a little message." Marcel says and seems as though he never considered it.
He shouts over to the other vampires. "Thierry! Take a team of nightwalkers to the Cauldron tonight, do a little rousting... Oh, and Thierry? Make it nasty." He orderes and I glaced at my twin only to see him hid a grin.
"Well I need a drink and a dress for tonight, so I'm leaving." I inform them and turn to leave.
"Hey Lex." Marcel calls to me and I turn to him. "Tell the store that Marcel sent you. Think of it as a welcome home present." He says with a smile and I nod. I feel slightly guilty but it goes away as I realise he still has Elijah.

Rebekah, Nik and I enter the party, arms interlinked, taking in the dark, wild atmosphere. Nik is wearing a black suit with a black dress shirt and tie, and Rebekah is dressed in a matching black peplum cocktail dress and a hairpiece with black feathers and beads. I'm wearing a spagetti strapped white dress that reaches mid thigh with my hair braided.
"Well, this certainly is a fitting backdrop for tonight's events, I must say." Nik says with a smile and I let out an unattractive snort as we continued walking.
Some time later Rebekah, Nik and I spot Cami, the blonde bartender as she enters the party, wearing white angel's wings and a vintage white beaded dress. Rebekah looks pleased, but Nik' smile falls and I look at her.
"What's she doing here?" Nik asks suspiciously and I shrugged, having no idea. Still got a liking in blondes I see, not that he'd admit it but he doesn't need to. I know him better than anyone else, I thought to myself as I looked the girl over.
"What better way to distract Marcel than to put his very human new girl in a room chock full of vampires?"
Bekah says, looking and sounding very proud of her plan but Nik seems very unhappy with this decision. She crosses the courtyard to greet Cami. Nik sighs and we follow behind her as I grinned.
"Hello, darling. You look precious." I heard Bekah say in a polite tone. But I think that she would really like to rip out the girls' throat, just because Marcel like her. Jealousy can be a nasty bitch.
"This party is ridiculous, but I think I went a bit splashy with this dress." She says and I look her over. She looks fine to me, better than the other women whose faces are caked with the amount of make up on it.
Cami makes eye contact with Nik and nods at him in acknowledgment as he joins them before she before turning back to Rebekah. "Is he the infamous on-again/off-again and she is the new girlfriend?" Cami asks bluntly and I snorted in amusement. She's got spunk and guts, I'll give her that.
"He's the brother, actually, and my sister is right. You do look stunning." Nik compliments.
"You clean up pretty well yourself." She says and glances at me.
"Haven't seen you before. Camille O'Connell but I like to be called Cami." She says with a smile, extending her hand which I take.
"Aleksios Mikaelson, but everyone calls me Lex. Nik's my twin. Also I know who you are. And my siblings are right, you look good enough to eat." I say to her in a flirty tone - though not meaning anything with it - and her facial expressions are hilarious. First shock with a gaping mouth, then sorry and lastly a cute blush as I rake my eyes over her.
"You three chit-chat. I need booze." Bekah says and turns to leave.
"I need some booze to, get me some will you? Please?" I ask after her as she turns back to nod.
"Shall we?" Nik asks extending his arms to both of us. I take one and we look at Cami.
"Okay." She says and takes the arm that is open and we walked into the party once again.

Bow of the North
In game of thrones i felt that the Starks received way too much hardships and tragedy. i know that there were vital points of story, and there were times these hardships were building points for their characters, but i feel when every member of a family has been either killed, raped or crippled then they deserve a break. In my story that break comes in the form of a powerful hunter/general from another world. I have no intention of altering the story to save every stark, or have them win every time, and some of my favourite characters may even be victims of this plot change as well. edited The main character, and there will be several new characters introduced to the storyline, will not just be some over powered guy who makes outrageous decisions that always work out (cough Plot armour) but will be someone that treats the world as a real world and has fears, doubts and is cautious in his decisions. He is susceptible to changing his mind and character traits depending on his experiences in this life. The story will primarily follow the plot at the beginning with some minor changes, and as more things change they will increase till the entire story is changed at the end. I am not copying the world of GoT exactly. cultures, politics and nobility may be changed or made up.
