The SI unit of mass is kilogram (kg). The SI unit of amount of substance is mole (mol).
But on a periodic table of elements, molar mass is measured in gram per mole (gmol⁻¹) and gram is not the SI units of mass.
So this is disappointing when we have to find the number of moles of a substance sample for a physicist.
