A (.) Dumbledore
Hello Albus.
How is it going in Hogwarts? We really miss you. Ariana asks every day where you are.. She even draw a picture for you! Bathilda looks after us every day, but for a few days a weird boy was here with her. I don't know what to think about him. I can't wait for you to get back so we don't need her help for a while. You promise to take the first train, right? Albus we need you here. Sometimes I wish you wouldn't even visit Hogwarts. I know how selfish this sounds but it's so difficult without you.
Lots of love, Aberforth
Albus loved the small letters he got from his brother every few days. Only one more week and he would sit in the train driving home for one week. He'd stay there over Halloween and then he would have to leave again. Seven more days full of books, words and taking more notes for the final exames. Albus putted the letter on his bed and then got ready for the rest of the day wich he would probably spend in the library. The boy left the dorm all alone and walked to the entrance of the archive of books. He entered it with loads of respect as he went to grab a bunch of books he would spend his Sunday night with. The boy sat on a old, fuzzy couch, opened the first one and smiled at the so typicall and calming smell. The Gryffindore stared at the page, took of his glasses. He didn't needed them at all, well, he didn't wanted to use them til he really needed them.
Many letters later a lady stepped in front of him, made him look directly into her eyes. „Young man, shouldn't you'd be laying in you bed by now?" she asked in a soft but still strict manner, sitting next to him. Albus nodded, not knowing what to say at all. „Go to your common room, you're having school tomorrow.." she whispered again as she watched how he got up and left. His feet brought him straight to his bed as he kept the books under his arms, planning on reading all five of them the next week. In reading he found his peace and silence, where he was fully relaxed and could focuse on himself. He loved it. A few deep breaths later his eyes shut and he driffted into a peaceful sleep with sweet dreams.

The week was quit nice and calm. The teachers where pretty chill about the grades and gave the students some time to relaxe befor the holidays would start. Albus was packing his stuff, it was the middle of the night, but he had to since he promised to take the very first train and well this was the only way he would definitly not miss it. He rubbed his eyes as he closed the suitcase and brought it down in the common room. The grib tight around the handle, he pulled it out of the dorms. Suddenly he felt a pair of hands around his waist. „Are you leaving without a goodbye?" The voice asked calmly but quit anxious. Diana. It was her voice he would recognize out of thousands. „Of course not, I was heading to the Rawenclaw dorms!" he explained and gently hugged her arms. She slowly pulled away, gave him a small smile. „Greet Aberforth and enjoy the week, okay? You deserve some home time" Oh Diana.. If she knew what home time meant to Albus. It was pure stress. He was scared. He knew both of his loved ones would be just fine, but still. Between his two homes where dimensions of differences. It felt like they werent even on the same earth.
The friends said a, for now, a final good bye. So here he was again, standing on the train station, waiting fot his, not so loved, home bringin train. And, sadly, it started to rain, what a typical fall day. The water soaked his hair and clothes. Five more minutes and the train was supossed to come. Five more minutes in the cold fall rain. Five more minutes of awful soaked wet clothes. And there it was, the train noises wich came near. A reliefed smile made it's way on the boy's lips as he finally entered the warm old vihicle. Albus sank into one of the seats, putted his back between his legs, leaned back and once again, like so many times befor, he looked out of the window, trying to enjoy the view.
Like so many times befor, hours and hours passed by, where absolutely nothing happened. But then it did. Albus finally was back in Godrics Hallow. Everything was so fast, he couldn't focuse on his steps, he was too tired, but somehow he made it til theire front door.

A last deep breath while he unlocks the door. A last look at the streets before the wooden door closes again. „Albus!" his brother hugged him tightly, a last true and faithfull hug. Nobody knew it yet, but everything would change in the following days. Everything. But if it's bad or not, nobody could tell. The following days would be very confusing. They woud be about the most dangerous thing on earth. „Hey Mate" he ran through Aberforth's hair and slowly pulled away. „I missed you!" the younger one of the brothers said. Albus nooded, not focusing anymore as he already dropped his stuff and walked upstairs to Arianas room. He knew how bad it made his brother feel, getting so less attention, but it was still Ariana and he couldn't stand the thought of her being alone. So he quickly got into her room, his smile disapearing as he saw her. „Hey my sunshine.."he whispered and sat next to her body, flinched as she crawled back, being scared of her self, being scared of maybe hurting her brother, the only one who still came this close to her.
But Albus didn't stop, he got closer and hugged her, wanting her to fell safe and loved, he knew how bad she needed this. Ariana. His little sister. He loves her, it's true. But to see her like this, how she was only skin and bones, being afraid of herself. Where did he go wrong? Why was his family such a mess? Was is it a little bit of his fault? Carefully he pulled apart, stroked some of her tears away. His glace was sticked onto her sharp cheek bones, wich he gently touched. „How do you feel?" he asked whispering. She couldn't answer. Ariana couldn't effort any strengh for talking, instead she laid back down. All of her power got wasted in this hug. Albus held his tears back as he left the room quietly, locking the room. Not because he didn't trusted her. Because he didn't wanted to take the risk of anyone gettig hurt or even worse; killed.
„Albus! Bathilda is here!" Aberforth shouted from downstairs while Al whiped his tears away. He tied his hair up in a bun as his feet already carried him down the old wooden stairs. He smiled at the old ladys smirk as she saw him. Him, a Dumbledore she loved as if he was her own son. As if he was her own blood. Quickly she pulled him into a warm hug, giving him a feeling of pure luck. „Oh Albus.." she whispered „I am so proud of you" she kissed his forehead and looked into his eyes. „So much happened! Ariana managed to talk, Aberforth is a really good cook, and... oh! I want to introduce you to some one, he is a part of my family and I think you both would get along quit nicely.. And I know you hate to hear it, but my dear, you need some social contacts beside Hogwarts and your siblings" Bathilda nodded and got out of Albus' sight.
Blue eyes looked directly into a silver pair. It was like he was staring into the antartica, but it was to hot to feel like he froze in the moment, he was surounded by the auratic fire. He didn't feel any kind of coldness. He was almost sweattng, melting under the heat the other gave. „Albus, this is my grandnephew, Gelert. Gelert, this is the boy I told you about. I thought maybe you could help each other? You need some help with school, and Albus needs a friend" Bathilda smiled lovely. Gelert held his hand out, offering it to Albus „It's a pleasure to meet you" Goose bumps where send down all over Al's body as he carefully took the taller ones hand, loosing the fully control over his thoughts and got lost in the grey eyes of the boy.
