《All At Once》Wedding Bells

I run around my apartment, clothed in just my underwear and socks, frantically searching for my nicest pair of blue jeans.
As I'm running across the tiled floors of my kitchen, when the location of my jeans pops into my head. I try to quickly stop and turn around, only succeeding in my socks making me fall flat on my butt.
FML.
Slowly I stand up, rubbing the sore area on my butt slightly.
Tonight is date night. The night I've been looking forward to since the very moment I asked.
Or, maybe even before I asked if I'm being honest with myself.
I want to look perfect, but also at the same time I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard. Even though everyone except for her knows that even in such a short amount of time I'm already completely whipped.
But I'm okay with that.
I'd love to be whipped by her.
I put on my now found dark blue jeans, and a red plaid shirt. Leaving the top two buttons undone and rolling the sleeves up to my elbows, exposing my forearms, so that maybe she'll be too distracted to realize how flustered I am. I finish my look off with a pair of boots.
Once I properly inspect myself for any noticeable flaws, I pick my keys off of the counter, heading down to my car.
Before I get her I run into the floral shop about a block away from her apartment. Straight away, my eyes find the Daisy's, remembering that they're her favorite flower. A discussion we had after I got her the roses.
I could see the cashier give me a flirty smile as I approached her.
Quickly I turn around in search of another check out, but sighed when I found there wasn't another one.
I turn back to cashier and give her a polite smile. Her cheeks seemed to only become redder as I got closer.
"For your mom?" She asked. Though I'm pretty sure the actual question was "Do you have a girlfriend?"
I smirked, "No actually, they're for my pregnant girlfriend."

As quick as lightning her smile turned into a frown.
I rolled my eyes at her obviousness, walking out of the shop.
I'm not ruining this before it even starts. She's already been cheated on once, so I'm not gonna give her any reason to believe that I would do the same thing, if she ever gave me a chance.
By the time I reached her apartment, my palms were sweat and my heart pumping. I scratched my wrist, a nervous habit of mine.
The elevator ride was torturous. In the reflection of the steel doors I could see just how nervous I looked.
Seconds went by after knocking on the door and she still hadn't come out. I waited a tad bit longer before I became restless, knocking once more. Though as soon as I knocked she opened the door.
I was left speechless at the goddess in front of me. A short, silky white dress adorned her body, hugging each of her beautiful curves, and emphasizing her growing eleven week bump.
The dress she was wearing reminded slightly of a wedding dress, or maybe that was just where my mind had been since the moment I saw her. I could hear the wedding bells already.
Only when I noticed Harper waving her hand in front of my face did I realize I was staring.
I blinked a few times before scrunching up my brows slightly, "What?" I asked confusedly.
She chuckled slightly. Her laugh sounding like a lullaby, sweet and smooth.
"I asked if you were okay," she said, a grin on her lips.
"I'm perfect," I said truthfully. "Never better."
I took her delicate, soft hand in my rough one, pulling her towards me, placing a soft, lingering kiss against her cheeks.
I smile as a warm blush dusts her cheeks.
"You look absolutely stunning," I said in a horrible accent as we entered the elevator.
Harper chuckled at my fail at a British accent. "Why thank you. You look impeccably handsome yourself Myles," she said in her much better accent, trying to suppress a laugh.

When we reached the car, I open her door in my most gentlemanly manner, helping her get in safely.
Throughout the drive we sing to anything and everything that was playing on the radio.
Though when Kane Browns 'What Ifs' hit its chorus, Harper received a text message.
"Oh I'm sorry," she said turning off her volume of her phone that interrupted us.
"It's okay," I said, though I noticed the name of the person who who messaged her was "Logan". I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as she texted a reply real quick.
I've never been a real jealous person. But maybe that's because I've never had a person to be jealous for.
"Who messaged you?" I asked, refusing to make eye contact.
"My best friend Logan," she replied, a smile on her face.
"Oh," I replied, still not feeling completely comfortable.
I sneaked a quick look over to where she was sitting, and saw her lips pursed, holding in a laugh.
She 100% knows.
"My best friend who told me about the photography opportunity, my best friend who is in a very stable relationship, the same best friend I spend ninety percent of my time going on and on about you with," she ranted smirking at me.
Oh.
I turn towards her slightly with a sheepish expression.
She chuckled. "I'm sorry," I said.
"It's okay, I understand," she said sincerely.
The rest of the car ride was like the beginning. Singing, laughing, and I'm proud to admit, flirting.

"There is no way I'm naming my daughter Tony because of your weird obsession with Tony Romo," Harper laughed, following my baby name suggestion.
"What about if we have boy? The. Can his name be Tony?" I asked.
She laughed even harder, "Absolutely not!"
"Why?" I laughed, finding humor in how against the name she was.
"It just doesn't fit in. Think if we went up to people and said 'Hello I'm Harper, this is Myles and our baby Tony' it just doesn't work."
I laughed, "I guess not."
"What about West for a boy?" she asked.
I shook my head, "No because the well have to name out other kids, North, East, and South just to keep with a theme."
For a moment I regretted that sentence. It sounded as if I was planning to have more kids with her. Which I most definitely was, but she didn't need to know that yet.
Though she never said anything about it. So either she never noticed it, or she wants the same thing.
Hopefully the latter.
This date was perfect.
There was no way for this to go wrong.
We walked up to where we were supposed to pay. The waitress looks up from her computer that she had been staring hard at.
Her mouth opens and closes in a fishlike manner. The whole time it seemed as if she had something to say to us though held back. That is until we had finished paying and was getting ready to open the door.
The waitress from before grabbed the back of my arm.
"Can I help you?" I asked trying not to seem too agitated, though I was.
"You're Myles Cruz, right?" she asked.
"I am," I said looking over to a very tense Harper.
"And your Harper, the pregnant girlfriend," the waitress stated this time, staring pointedly at the bump in almost disgust.
I noticed Harper looking rather uncomfortable, stroking her baby bump.
"Yes, now can we help you?" I said getting frustrated and quite frankly angry with how she was looking at Harper.
"Is it true that the baby is her ex-boyfriends?"
"What?" Harper and I asked at the same time.
"Yeah, have you guys not seen the article?" she asked pulling out her phone.
The article that she was talking about was an interview by Luke.
He said hat the baby was his and Harper was using me for money.
I guess now we know what he was planning.
