"I already knew that nigga was get caught." Omar says twisting his dreads. "Didn't we all." Gazzy says. "I tried to warn his ass that you could serve a long time in prison." "He doesn't care about that. Kimetrius is reckless as hell. And he's always been." Jared adds laying down on the couch. "It's been what? 9, 10 years? He's been selling drugs for 10 years." He continues. "How long will be be in prison?" I ask. They all shrugged. "6 years?" Gazzy says, holding up 5 fingers. Omar takes his hand and adds one more finger; "Probably more than that." He says.

"Where's Symere?" Jared asks. "Probably at a fucking cult meeting." Omar says getting up and going into the kitchen. "He's like never around.." I say. There was silence for a bit. "Well, since we won't be seeing Kimetrius for a while, or Symere, we should go out." Gazzy says excitedly. We all groaned at the thought of actually getting out of the house. "Come on, pussies. We're all 24, and we're getting old as shit. We need to make the most out of the youth we have left." Gazzy says trying to convince us all.

"Actually I'm 24 and a half." Jared says raising his hand. "Nigga, whatever. We're all going out. There's a fucking club and bar near here. We finna leave at 10. Be ready." Gazzy says, clapping his hands in sync as he says 'be ready.'

I haven't been out in a long time. The last relationship I was in, this bitch Valerie, fucked my whole thinking of women. Some women just cheat even though they have everything in front of them. Our relationship was hard, we'd constantly fight over dumb shit, she accused me everyday of cheating on her, ironically, she cheated on me. That was about a year or two ago though. I'm over it.

One thing people didn't know about me is that I can fucking cook. Well, I think I can cook. I'm hungry as shit and I don't have any money for grocery shopping so I'm just going to have to deal with the shit I already have. As I'm walking to my apartment building, I run into someone. "Aye, my bad." The other person didn't respond. I look up and see who it is. "What the fuck are you doing here?" I say aggressively stepping away. "Aren't you happy to see me, X?" He says with this stupid grin on his face. "Don't fucking call me that, Shayaa. I swear to god." I step back but every time I step back he steps closer. "I'll call you whatever the hell I want. Now, not to keep Thug waiting.." I look confused. "Thug? Oh hell no. You and Thug can take your gang shit somewhere else, I'm not and never was about that life." He chuckles then points at my ankle monitor. "Oh Word?" He says.

He grabs my neck and slams me against the wall, making a big bang I'm pretty sure everyone in the complex heard. "Now nigga. Jefferey ain't patient. You is his bitch." He says, blowing his hot breath on me. It smelled of cigarettes and weed. "I'm nobody's bitch. I ain't with him anymore. That was a fucking year ago." He punches my chest, making me wheeze and cough in pain. "I ain't tryna fuck up the money. Jefferey needs you. And that's what he's going to get." He laughs, making his grip go a little tighter. I managed to push him off of me with my feet. He let go, scratching my neck in the process.

"Oh so it's like that? Alright then." Shayaa says squaring up. He throws a punch at me, I dodge and punch him square in the face. He tumbled back a little bit. All in all, it was a little scuffle. What I mean by little is that I probably will have time added onto my house arrest.

"Aye y'all hear that?" Jared says, pausing whatever he's watching and listening. "Sounds like someone's moving something, probably that new neighbor moving his shit." I say going back on my phone. "That don't sound like no moving shit." Jared says getting up and looking outside, when he realizes you can barely see what's going on, he opens the door and freezes. He then turns to us with a shocked expression. "There's a whole ass fight going on!" He exclaims, pulling out his phone and walking toward the commotion. Which causes the rest of us to stampede behind him.

I look outside and it's that new neighbor, and some other tall darkskin guy going at it. Well, the neighbor is beating this dude senseless. He has hands. I feel bad for the dude, what could he have possibly done to deserve the beating?

"Jared stop fucking recording!" Gazzy says running down the stairs to wear the fight is going on, Omar and I following. "It's fight I have to record.

"Yeah nigga, don't think you can come at me with that bullshit again!" I hear the guy yell, in a familiar raspy voice. I have no time to think about who it is, this guy is beating the living shit out of this guy and we have to intervene or else there's going to be a murder charge.

Gazzy grabs the neighbor, who he struggles with a little bit but manages to get him off, Omar and I grab the tall dude. This dude beat this niggas face harder than I beat my fucking dick, on some real shit. Nigga was bleeding everywhere. I looked over to see the new neighbor's fists and his grey shirt were bloody.

"Don't think I won't be back for you. Jefferey is going to get what he wants, he always does." The tall skinny darkskin Omar and I were guarding yells. He spits out blood and releases himself forcefully from me and Omar's grip. "Fuck you. Get the hell out of here!" The neighbor yells, motioning his head to the direction of the parking lot. The guy flips him off and starts running until he's around the corner out of sight.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Gazzy asks the neighbor. "It's nothing. I'm fine." The half black, half blonde dread head says in a aggressive low tone. I notice he has an ankle monitor, realizing he's not unfamiliar with things like this. I swear this guy looks so familiar. Too familiar but I don't know, I'm probably trippin. "Well, see you guys around." He says casually, turning around to go to his apartment. "Hey, wait!" I yell. He turns around to look at me. "What's your name? I uh, seen you just moved here." He raises his eyebrows and smirks. "Just call me Jahseh." He says turning to walk up the stairs. We watch him until he gets up the stairs and into his apartment complex.

"Damn I got that whole thing on camera." Jared says excitedly. We roll our eyes and go back inside. We need to get ready to leave soon.
