I was at Adriens house with Demetrius and James bored so I decided I wanted to go on instagram and lurk on one of them girls who had jumped me.
'Long live my sista we gone keep yo name alive baby I promise😘🥺'
I click on her story to see she had posted a picture of Drea and couldn't help myself from laughing.
"What yo ugly ass laughing at" Demetrius said looking over at my phone.
"AWWW YOU GOING TO HELLL WHY IS YOU LAUGHING" he yelled, pointing at me and started laughing.
"Damnn I wonder who killed ha ass"
"Fuck her" I said while getting up off the couch and walking into Adriens room and he followed behind me.
"Whatchall in hea doing" I said stopping in the doorway staring at James and Adrien playing call of duty warfare on Adriens xbox 1.
"What do it look like" James replied.
"Shutcho hoe ass up" I said back making him chuckle.
"Adrien ass too invested in this game ain took his eyes off it yet" Demetrius said smacking Adrien on the side of his head to get a reaction out of him but Adrien still ain take his eyes off the screen.
"Bitch you doing too much go back inna livingroom or sum" James said standing up pushing Demetrius after he had slapped him on his head too.
"Shutcho ass up" Demetrius said laughing walking back by me to the doorway.
I just realized james the quiet, mean one, with the anger issues while Demetrius the goofy, friendly one.
"Aye sis lets go up to da gasstation real quick so you can take my pics" Demetrius said giving me his phone.
"K" I replied walking outside behind him.
"Eee im looking fye ain I" he said dusting off his shoulders after I took his last picture.
"You look like a fucking janitor" I replied looking him up and down.
"Bitch" he said smacking me in the head with a bag of chips he had picked up.
"Ghe stop-" I snatched the chips out his hand and started hitting him multiple times with it as he started covering his face.
"Riah you embarrassing we is in public" he said laughing while picking the now crushed up bag of chips off the floor as people in the gasstation started staring at us.
"You shoulda neva started wimme" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"Boy cmonnn get you anotha bag of chips so we can go" I rushed him.
He grabbed him a bag of funyuns, hotfries, and takis then grabbed a bottle of water and just walked out the gasstation without paying.
"Nigga you going ta jailllll" I said laughing, speed walking behind him.
"Bitch ian spending my money onnis shit" he replied as we both ran across the street.
We got back to Adriens house and walked in seeing Jaymar in the kitchen eating some blueberries. I just walked back into the livingroom and Demetrius noticed we weren't talking to each other.
"Awwnnn don't tell me the two lul dust bunnies broke upppp" he said sticking his bottom lip out.
We both didn't say anything towards that.
"How the fuck yall break up already" Demetrius said trying to hold back his laugh.
"Man look she call it us 'taking a break' shit ion know ian trippin ova it nomo doe she wanna be single so im letting ha be single" Jaymar said grabbing the container of blueberries and walking towards Adriens room as I just mugged him.

"Mmcht..he gon be my nigga again soon so ion care" I replied inna cocky way.
"Don't say it like that, like you can just have my nigga when you want to" he said mugging me.

"You needa smoke?" I turn around to see Jaymar coming to sit next to me on Adriens patio.
"Hell ye" I respond as he passes me the wood he just rolled up and lit already.
"I moved down hea ta change my ways and to leave da old me in Chicago but it look like that bitch just follows me whereva I go" I say inhaling the smoke through my nose then blowing it out my mouth and passing the wood back to Jay.
"Thats how it be..I moved outta zone 6 ta leave allat behind but im still out hea killing people and shit" he said with a serious expression on his face making me start laughing and chocking at the same time.
"You from zone 6?" I ask him watching him hit the blunt.
"Yea hated living dere that shit ain a place you wanna grow up in"
"I actually liked living in Chicago even doe its so hectic down nea and I went through alot...thats just what im used to" I replied grabbing the wood from him, hitting it.
"You still ain neva told me bout yo momma...how she die?" I asked looking him over at him while he was still looking straight.
"It was my fault" he replied rocking the chair we was on back forth.
"Don't say tha-"
"Nah it was..my young ass being a teenager wanted ta be innat street shit like my daddy..was out and about getting into it wit niggas fa no reason just ta prove I was tuff" he started talking while shaking his head, looking off into space.
"Don't een know why I even wanted ta be like my deadbeat ass daddy yea he in my life now but back den he only spent time wit me once a year and he didn't een spend time, nigga would just drop off money say hi and leave"
"But it was this one day I got into it bad wit these group of niggas who was known inna streets fa killing shit but ian give no fuck bout nunnadet"
"So me n dis one dude got into it bad onna net over sum real childish shit that I had started and he told me straight up like 'nigga when I find you imma kill you and whoever rock witchu' " he started telling me what all went down.
"so me being me, ian no bitch and told him if he really wanted smoke he could push up on me plus ian wanna be seen as no hoe like da rest of dese niggas was so I dropped my address, which was dumb as da fuck and if you a real street nigga you would know ta never give yo opps yo addy, but I dropped that shit and long story short his ass slid and was waiting fa me ta leave the house, i left da house wit my momma and dey started letting off shots and my momma hopped ontop of me basically being my shield and died fa me.....so yea dat shit my fault" he finished the story then looked at the blunt seeing it was only a roach left.
Damnnnnn
"Is he still alive?" I asked Jaymar about the dude who killed his momma.
"Hell nah me, my daddy, and unc nem killed sum of dey ass"
"That shit crazy..I think we all were young and just did dumb shit...especially you" I said nudging him trying to make him laugh.

"Got me fucked up" he said chuckling.
"I know that shit was so heartbreaking just seeing yo momma like that im sorry fareal" I said sincerely, starting to remember how I seen my daddy the same way.
"Nahh een gotta show me no sympathy ian too sad bout it now cuz I know me continuously mopping around being sad and shit ain gon get me no money,

He pops up in my mind more frequently than I'll admit. He's popular. He's three years older than me, a basketball star and a local hero. He's always the talk of the town. But he's changed, and there's something about Rowan that's different. He's got more secrets hidden away than I thought. And I never thought I'd stumble into one like this.*Updates weekly on Fridays*
