I run back to the gym as quickly as I can. While running through the halls I saw nobody. That means I'm probably the last one to arrive there. Before I opened the door to enter, I gave myself a second to catch my breath.
"Ah, there she is!" Kaede said right as I entered the gym.
"Hmm, it's pretty spectacular seeing all 17 of us Ultimates gathered together." Kaito cheered.
"Kehehe...You may not be able to be so easygoing for much longer..." Korekiyo mumbled. What did he mean by that..?
"What's going on?" Himiko questioned
"Hmmmm" Tenko stared at her
"Hm? What are you looking at?"
"Um...Himiko, you can use amazing powers, right!? Cuz you're a psychic and stuff, right?"
"I'm not a psychic, I'm a mage." Himiko replied plainly.
"Whooooa!! That's amazing! I definitely wanna incorporate that into Neo-Aikido! Hey, what sorta training did you undergo to gain your awesome powers!?" Tenko asked excitedly
"Talking about it is too tiring..." Himiko whined
"You're pretty lazy." I say bluntly, Himiko honestly got on my nerves a bit. Can't even answer a question because she's "tired". I heard a little laugh come from Kokichi after I said that.
"Pardon me, but..we need to be on our guard. We do not know if and when danger will strike." Keebo brought up a good point.
"Don't say that...I'm so scared..I don't know what to do.." Kokichi looked like he was about to cry...buuuuut knowing him he's probably just faking.
"There is no need to worry, Atua will protect us." Angie smiled
"Phew! That's a relief!" Kokichi answered, I just rolled my eyes.
"Is your brain full of weeds or somethin'? I'll whack 'em outta that skull of yours!" Miu yelled
"Don't worry about it! Just leave it to me!" Kaito reassured us. "If those teddy bears show themselves again, I'll kick all their asses!"
"Wait...what's that.." I say, starting to get nervous I fidget with my hands.
"Hm? What's wrong?" Korekiyo asked
"Listen closely...hear that?" I watch as the room falls silent. Everyone trying to hear what I was taking about.
"Ah, I think I hear it. It sounds like an engine from a robot anime—" Tsumugi was cut off by these...robot thingys entering the room. Surrounding us.
"Yoo-hoo! Rise and shine, ursine!"
Tsumugi screamed as Gonta ordered us all to go behind him. Everyone was in panic
"Wh-what the hell are these...monsters!?" Tenko yelled
"Whooooooaaaaa!! So coooool!!!" Kokichi stared in awe.
"They're Exisals!" Monokid explained from inside one of them
"Wh-Whatever they are, they better kill off the uggos and save me for last!" Miu shouted

"Run, Y/n!" Kokichi yelled to me, even tho he was right next to me
"Huh? Why just me...besides, didn't someone say they would "kick all their asses?" I say, looking over to Kaito.
"Wh-What the hell?! Nobody told me about these!" He looked terrified, they all did.
"Ughh, if I had my dancing equipment with it lit on fire, I probably would've been able to take these things down.." I look around me to see Kokichi staring at me. But just as we made eye contact, he looked away and walked somewhere else.....weird.
"Alright, chill out, no need to panic...we're probably not in any danger. If they wanted to kill us, they'd have done it by now." Rantaro spoke up and casually walked up to the exisals. "So...what do you want from us? You clearly want something, that's what the guns are for, right? Let me guess. You're gonna force us to do something, and if we don't, we get hurt. Well, you have our attention. So what do you want?"
"Huh, we'll aren't you a wise guy?" One of the Monokubs said.
"I'll start us off! Listen up! Here's what we want you punkasses to do..." a little pause before Monokid continued " Hahhhhhhh! My hearts goin' 100 miles per hour! I'm gonna say it! You ready!? Hell yeah! It's a—" he was cut off by Monodam saying it for him.
"KILLING-GAME."
"...What?" I almost laughed at how stupid it was. Surely, they wouldn't make us do that..right?....right..!?
"W-Wait a second. What did you say?" Tenko stuttered
"If I heard him correctly—"
"It's a killing-game." The Monokubs started fighting with eachother and everyone started to panic
"Are they gonna go at it right infront of us!?"
"We need to get out of here!"
Everyone kept panicking until there was another mysterious voice we've never heard before.
"Now, now, now..."
...what?..
"My cute little Cubs...you gotta knock off this awful fighting..." suddenly the Monokubs came out of the exisals and started screaming for their..."father"...? But then all of the lights in the gym shut off. I let out a little yelp. I'm embarrassed to even say it, but...being in the dark has always been a fear of mine. That's when I felt a warm embrace from behind.
"Huh!?" I panic, who is hugging me!?!?
"Nishishishi~ you're scared of the dark, aren't you? Loserrr" Kokichi. I knew it was him just because of that little laugh of his, god this bastard..
"Ugh, Kokichi! Get off of me! And of course I'm not scared of the dark.." I peel his arms off of me

"Awww you're no funn." He whined beside me. Thank god we're still in the dark, I bet my face was probably just as red as himiko's hair right now.
Then the lights turned on and we all saw another black and white bear.
"I am the god of this new world...and the headmaster of the ultimate academy! The one, the only...Monokuma! Nice to meetcha!"
"Wh-What is this? What's going on?" Kaede asked
"Another teddy bear appeared.." I added
"Yes, but that is no ordinary teddy bear. I can see it...the despair and madness swirling around that cursed thing.." Korekiyo said.
"Whoa...First of all, I'm no teddy bear. I'm Monokuma. And show some respect! I'm the headmaster of the ultimate Academy!" Monokuma yelled
"...Headmaster?" Maki questioned
"It appears to be some sort of autonomous robot with a build in A.I....like me." Keebo said
"Dong dong dong!" Monotaro said randomly
"The exisals are different, though! They're brainless buckets of bolts!" Said monosuke
"They're mindless pretty killing machines that can only be controlled by us, the Monokubs."
"Autonomous robots piloting weapons platforms...this is certainly turning into quite the story." I say, suddenly I see rantaro walk up next to me.
"Well that may be, but what I'm worried about is this "killing game" you mentioned. What exactly does that mean?" He asked, an intense stare on his face.
"Puhuhuhuhu..."
"What is so amusing?" Kirumi genuinely asked
"It's just...when I said it before, I kinda just phoned it in and now I feel awkward...I want you students with your Ultimate-level talents to participate in a killing game." Monokuma laughed
"Killing game? Us?" I turned to look over at kaede and saw a worried expression. To be honest, I was scared myself as well...
"You've got to be kidding me. Why would we ever even agree to that you weirdo!?" I yelled at Monokuma
"Huh? You guys don't wanna do it?" I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or genuine anymore.
" 'C-course not! Gentlemen not hurt people!" Gonta shouted
"But if you've looked around the academy, then you already know, don't you? This academy is surrounded by a huge wall. You can't escape to the outside world. And as long as we have the exisals, you can't defy us. In other words...I hold the power of life and death over each and every one of you" you could tell Monokuma was starting to get frustrated.
"So do what you say if we don't wanna die?" Said rantaro
"Y-You gotta be kidding me! Why would friends kill each other!?!?" Tenko yelled.
"...Who said you guys were friends? You guys aren't friends at all... You're enemies out to kill each other." Monokuma had a sinister look on his face.
"Hey, I consider these people my friends? Sure I just met them. But they're not my enemies, and no way will we ever kill one another." I spoke up, my voice was a bit shaky, considering I was nervous... "and..anyway...how would we even kill each other? Are you going to give us weapons or something"
"The fuck!? Why are you even asking!?!?" Miu shouted
"Curiosity. And we also need info on them first, we won't be able to do anything if we know nothing." Oh god why did I even decide to ask that. Now everyone's staring at me as if I'm going to kill them..
"Weapons? Huh? The ultimate academy's killing game is quite a refined and sophisticated experience!" Monokuma answered
"Sophisticated experience?" Maki questioned
"Yes...Here, the killing game is punctuated by class trials."
"Class...trials?" Kaede and I said at the same time
The Monokubs then proceeded to explain how the class trials will work.
"One can likely imagine...but I shall ask, just in case. What is the "punishment" you mentioned earlier?" Korekiyo asked
"Simply put, it's an execution!" Monokumas red eye started to glow "if you do a crime, you get punished for it.? That's, like, the most basic rule of society. But this is a killing game, so the punishment for murder is a bit more...permanent." Monokuma explained.
It felt kind of wrong to wonder this but...I wonder how the executions would be like..
"Alright, I'm over all this boring exposition— let's get this heart-pounding killing school semester started already!" Then Monokuma explained the rules
"Killing school semester...it's like a game." Rantaro said
"Kehehe...Risking our lives for some silly game is absurd." Korekiyo said, his voice was sharp.
"It doesn't seem like it'll be boring though." Kokichi smiled.
"Hey! How can you degenerates be so calm!?" Tenko shouted
"I...don't want to be in a killing game. This is...so wrong. ...I'd never do that!" My eyes started to water. But I held my tears back at all costs. I was actually a very sensitive person, but crying right now would just make me seem like a crybaby..
"Puhuhu...Well, if you don't wanna participate in the killing game, that's gonna be a problem...cuz the killing game is the only reason you're here." Monokuma told me.
"Wait what!?—" I was cut off by the bear again
"Now then, unleash your talents and have a happy, homicidal, horrific, hilarious killing game!"

Zeroth Knight re: Dawn
Isekai, fantasy, with the core themes of Identity and Fate. Story contains a, mostly, lesbian cast. Updated twice a day. Evangeline Sayagawa makes the ultimate choice at the cost of the ultimate sacrifice: She decides to leave her world that she fought so hard to return to, and return to Arsea in hopes of saving everyone. Little was she aware of just how bad things had gotten. The world she was returning to was cast into chaos and on the precipice of being destroyed. She awakens in this new kind of Arsea, after having witness the end of a dear friend. The world now belonged to the monstrosities of old, the Beta, and their corrupted human warriors, the Eld. With her fake identity, that which defined her in this world, being stripped from her, she now has to navigate a darkness in which not even the women she loves recognize her. This is book 2 of the Evangeline Sayagawa "Zeroth Knight" story, with book 1 being found here. The first "chapter" posted here is a hyper-condensed version of volume/book 1, in case anyone needs a generalized refresher of events, or for those who wish to start with this book instead as it is faster paced and more action-packed than the first one. Suffice to say, but most of the details from book 1 are lost by doing this; however, enough of the more-important information is present to allow one to understand the general idea of what is going on. This book features a mostly lesbian cast and deals more so with fate and crises of identity more than anything else. However, there is much more action in this one than any of my other stories thus far and brings about the end of Evangeline Sayagawa's story arch... sort of. I have another story up, a short story drama with light yuri and supernatural themes: "Escape The KNIGHT" Share the story if you think it's good. And please rate some stars and leave reviews guys. It will help encourage other people to take a chance with the story and get to know this wonderful journey with us. Also, a friend has made a Discord for the "Zeroth Universe" if anyone wants to join and hang out to talk about the stories, theories, or just general fun chats with us! https://discord.gg/f3Bc4TR Follow me on Twitter @Ozefen0 to stay up to date on my stories and what have you.

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
