We arrived at a run down building to meet Gwen. It was a big parking lot even though the huge building was rotting to the ground. We were all waiting outside for Gwen in a mass pile bored and hot in the California sun. I waited and every second felt like an hour, I hadn't seen her in a couple days...or was it weeks? I couldn't tell anymore I knew I loved her from the first day I met her. Her beautiful purple eyes were such a deep violet and made me want to stare into them forever. Our early morning at the cabin, and spending nights together laughing and laughing even if it was just about how ridiculous I am. I hoped she wouldn't be mad at me for coming to meet her I just missed her a lot even a couple days without her made me upset. I want to be with her and I now that now, but the question is will she want to be with me? I heard a engine coming down the road and looked across to the open freeway. A blue car came wandering down the road to the building and stopped. I knew from the shadow in the passenger seat it was Gwen. Her all to familiar hair was seen form the window. A tall man walked out from the drivers seat, it was to tall too be Jordan but he seemed older so I was in the clear. He also had light tan skin that looked somewhat familiar to Gwen. She walked out and all the campers looked up happily. Especially Nikki, who was jumping up and down excitedly. Gwen steped out of the car with a stern look on her face. I looked down sadly and looked around. I sort of started to realize the reality of the situation. I brought all the campers....to California. Gwen's stern look faded into a big smile, she started to almost cry and ran up to me. I gave a small smile, but hesitated until she gave me a huge hug. I hugged back in disbelief, Gwen had never hugged me like that before and I honestly loved it. I could smell a faint rose scent coming from her. Suited her though she always liked roses, and nature even if she never acted like it. We released our long hug and she giggled a bit. Another odd thing I never thought I'd see From Gwen but here we are. I was staring into Gwen's eyes while the golden sun washed over us, all the campers were peaceful as well which was a strange change. I looked over her shoulder a bit as the tall tan man walked over.

"Hello." He said awkwardly. Gwen turned with a huge smile on her face, she grabbed the mans hand and put it in mine.
"David, I want you to meet my dad." She said in a happy voice.
He looked into my eyes, the same dark violet purple eyes with a happy theme deep in his eyes. I smiled back with my ocean green eyes shaking his hand.
"Nice to meet you." I said happily.
"You too." He said happiness appearing on his face. We all loaded in the car on the about to depart to camp. Before we left, I gave Gwen's dad directions and we said our goodbyes for now. I didn't know it now but I was gonna know him better than I did now for years to come.

Hinterland
Simon sincerely believed he was saving Morgan's life when he pushed her off the second-story roof of her family farmhouse. To be fair, his mother was burning it to the ground at the time. But Morgan Mumford, a lonely outcast with a chip on her shoulder and a full skeleton of remarkably unbroken bones, is not particularly convinced of his good intentions. Because the instant he pushed her over Simon also whisked Morgan into the realm of Hinterland: a shadowy world that is a perfect replica of their home town of Coching. But Hinterland is a hungry and dangerous place, where ordinary objects have taken on a life of their own. In Hinterland you might be ambushed by a gang of motorcycles or eaten alive by a duplex. And by god, you run from scissors. Morgan is now trapped in this hostile realm, unable to find a way home. Hunted relentlessly by Aqualung, an evil-minded Buick Skylark with a love for Jethro Tull and hatred for all things on two legs, she is forced to join a ragtag band of fellow castaways to ensure her survival. But the embittered leader of these children has plans of his own, and before long Morgan finds herself swept into his vendetta against Hinterland's imperious ruler: Simon's mother, who commands the living, breathing town to do her bidding and schemes to transform it into something worse than it is now. Something ravenous. It's time for Morgan to decide whether to ditch her new allies and find her own way out of the belly of the beast, or stay and help her fellow outcasts weather the violent feud that brews on the horizon.
