Nahara pov:

Taping play to my favorite song for the hundredth time tonight.

"You've been stuck in this room for four days nahara."

My mother said against the door. I was in my old bed room, in my parents house. I've been in nothing but pain I've cried almost everyday since that night.

This damn star hurt more and more by the second. Mom tried to make something to help for the pain but it only made it worst.

Being twenty two wasn't fun.

Staring out the window looking at everyone walk by living their 'non supernatural'lives.

You don't have to be like this kiddo.

Dad been getting in my head a lot lately. I mentally blocked him out. For some reason they said my powers were sealed and they weren't sure if they wanted to break the seal yet do to my state of mind. I don't care about my powers or theirs at that. They can stay sealed.

Picking up my phone I seen sixteen missed calls from Riley.

I'm losing my mind in this place. I grabbed my jacket and boots. And walked passed my mom who was still there at my door. She tried to walk after me but I heard my dad "Nora , give her some time."

I found myself walking down the street I grew up on. I needed to get away from this as well. Memories that were all a lie.

There were a small book shop use to go to back in highschool not far from here so I decided to head there.

When I left the book store i felt something so familiar. I looked up to see my cousin Natalie.

She wore dark clothes and her hair was bleached kind of a white and blonde color.

The usual look.

"Hey junkie thought I find you here." She waved standing next to her bike. Oh how I've missed her nonchalant , shitty yet positive energy.

I forced a smile. Before I knew it I had tears dropping from my face. I tried so hard to not cry In front of anyone.

She just stared at me with a disgusted face.

"You look like a complete pussy."

She came hugging me.

"Don't get snot on my jacket."

I laughed at her comment and so did she.

"Why are you here?" I asked

Nat sighed

"The whole family is in shock with what's about to happen. Mainly they wanted to see if you agreed to the contract."

Of course she's a witch to

"Oh"

"Yea it's not like any of them shit heads care about you though." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Judging by your state you said yes?"

I nodded

"Mom said you might need a teacher when it comes to healing magic.You know she's the best one in the whole family."

"I won't"

She looked confused

"What do you mean?"

"I won't need a teacher because my powers can stay sealed . I don't want them."

She didn't even look shocked.

"Take my hand."

"Why thats gay." She laughed and I took her hand. Close your eyes. I did as she said.

She whispered "Meliorate."

When I open my eyes we were in a forest.

I screamed

"NAT WHERE THE HELL ARE WE?"

She burst out laughing falling to the ground.

"Where in Meliorate kingdom of healing this is our mothers birth place."

"In the middle of the forest?"

"No stupid It's been awhile since I were here. The first place I thought of was the forest by the castles pond."

She started walking in the opposite direction so I followed her.

" So if Damon is the demon king and there's five kingdoms then why haven't I heard of any Royals in these kingdoms?"

"He killed them all and their heirs."

My chest tightened in fear. She said that with no care in the world.

" And you don't see nothing wrong with that?"

"Nahara it was over two-hundred years ago."

I grabbed her pulling her to stop.

"But still he's a Murderer."

"I mean yea but He's not like that. I know him and trust me he had his reasons. I heard about it in school."

Things were starting to come together. When we were younger nat never went to school in our state she went over seas to study in 'boarding school' now I'm assuming it was really a supernatural school or some shit.

I was confused like always nowadays.

"Back then shit was weird so he over threw them. The royals had bad intentions. Using magic to inslave humans even dark magic to do illegal things. Every royal played a part in these crimes and later paid the price. Now the people love Damon, he's a good king. These kingdoms are united , their one.

He put certain people in charge like commanders. Uncle David once was his closest commander for years until he 'betrayed ' him. But I don't think he hates your father."

"How do you know that?"

"Well considering the fact he still lets him in the castle , and he allow David to fight in his army."

"If that's the case he should cancel the contract and let me be."

"It doesn't work like that nahara, it's the prophecy he's worried about."

"What prophecy?"

"The Witches hour prophecy."

Still..... everyone was lying to me. Why didn't my parents tell me better yet why didn't damon tell me.

We were walking when we heard screams coming. Natalie looked at me and ran in the direction of where the screaming came from.

I gasped at what I saw first.

"The kingdom?"I asked

"Yea It's on fire."
