I feel bad for making an update only to have an A/N because I literally hate those when they happen to the stories I'm reading but there was NO way I would be able to fit this before a chapter, it would take away from the update. But I'm doing sort of a "collab" (I literally don't know what else to call it) so it should be worth your while.

Recently, this story hit over 100 favorites, which is blowing my mind. To be completely honest, I didn't think it would be this popular since there are SO many fanfics with the classic high school AU with other characters being other band members. But hey, I'm happy. Doing a little thing here, not sure how well this is going to go but first time for everything. In honor of that little celebration, I'm doing an interactive collab with anyone interested.

Since there are a lot of you, several that are dedicated, I'm sure this won't completely flop. I also already have one slot filled too, which is what sparked this idea in the first place. Earlier mentioned in the story, Jenna and the others were talking about the ski trip in the school which will take place in January (in the story, not in real life.) A third of the main characters I have will not be going on the trip but I'll still need other people there. My original idea was going to include other band members as the other students but I thought of something better? I'm offering to anyone interested in making an appearance in this story.

It would take place in chapter dates for January 16th, 17th, and 18th, during the trip. Within those three days, the 17th the guarantee, you would make an appearance depending on how large of a roll. If you get a bigger one, you may be in all three days, if a smaller one, only the 17th. Understand the circumstances though. Anyone who does take an interest would be a senior. Frank and the others are all juniors so you wouldn't be interactivity with them later (unless I do something else but until specified, this is a "one-time" deal) This would be a fun idea I feel. I'm hoping I'm not being narcissistic or getting ahead myself. If this does flop, the one roll that is taken will still happen, I'll just use other band members to fill the positions.

Okay, so I know it says contest but it's not really like your competing. If you want to be a one-shot character:

*Sarah's roommate*

People to sit with on the bus

People to sit with during meals

Other skiers/snowboarders/sledders

Others in the commons for chatting.

Of course, some of these characters will be used for multiple scenes. My expectations are low here. I feel like 3-5 people, maybe, would be interested. I could be wrong so I don't know. If there's a lot of people, then it will be divided up more, but I would be hoping for too much (however, not a bad thing?)

In regards to the roommate's situation. I will need a female character for Jenna and Amelia. They would have the most interaction. I will also need some for Sarah. Only one person will be mentioned and hanging out with them.

I really don't know how this is going to turn out, I'm hoping it's okay. So here's what I'll need. DON'T put down any information in the comments, it's going to get lost and I'll message you about it separately. But I do need as of now at least 2 female characters. And I will also need male characters. I believe there is a lot of females reading this story so I'm going to have to make a balance somehow, I'll end up making male characters instead if I have to. If your character is a guy and I don't have a lot of guys, you will have a larger role.

So if you leave a comment, I will like it (as I usually do) when I read it. If I don't reply to you, that just means I haven't gotten around to it yet, no need to worry. I will then message you when I have the change and that's when I'll ask you all the question I'll need to accurately portray you. You don't have to answer any question you don't want to, basically, copy paste and fill out what you want to let me know. I won't be using all of the information but its generic enough to potentially cover everything. Also, in regards to "relations with other characters" if you want to have a best friend or a significant other with you, Just tell me a "yes or no" if you want to. If you're not, that's perfectly okay. Then I will be "pairing" you guys up with some who also would be interested. I don't know if that's something going to happen but I'm making it an option.

I'll be asking the following in a questionnaire format:

Character's name, gender, LGBTQ+, the general appearance, general personality, traits, favorites, and then if they want a best friend or s/o. (FYI, can't make one up yourself, it'll be someone else if at all)

If you guys want to do this, I'd be more than happy to work with you on this. You can answer these as real or as fictional as you want. I'll be putting in whatever you tell me so it's open to you. And be as detailed as you desire. In fact, the more you give me, the more I have to work with, therefore, the more I'll include you. If this turns out to be successful, I may do it again for the events transpiring in February in the story. (Not revealing, but it's been planned to happen since I started this. Not "good")

Last thing: I started this story in March of 2017 so it's been a long project. At that time, I laid out the plot to last until their summer break. Would you guys be interested in this continuing into their senior year or would you rather it be finished after their junior ends. The benefits of it only being their junior year is a higher likeliness of this story having a complete ending. If I continue it with their senior year, there may be a chance I won't finish this story. I am very interested in writing it now, as you can tell I'm making an entire update just to have it "planned" but I'm putting out that chance. I ask you because there are certain events that will happen but if you guys want it to continue longer than I had originally planned for it (like a year ago in real time) then I want to know so I should postpone those events, so there's plot to continue and something worthwhile.

Okay: So in the comments, let me know if you want to be a character for the ski trip. AND whether it would be their junior year of high school and leave the next year open to your own interpretation or if you want it to continue on. Either way, I'm willing to put forth the effort.
