《Believing In Fairytales》Chapter Fifteen: Can We Keep It?

"We're home!" I hear Robin yell.
"I'm in the office!" I yell back as I stare at the computer screen.
I hear heavy and loud footsteps run down the hallway. The door bursts open and a beast runs into the room. A big dog makes it way over to me and lays its head on my lap. I groan when I see slobber fall out its mouth and onto my skirt.
"Robin!" I yell as I try to get the big dog off of me.
"Yes." He says as him, Roland and Rose peek their heads in the room.
"Why is there a dog slobbering on my favorite skirt?" I say as I motion to the dog's heavy head.
"I'll buy you a new one." Robin says and I give him a look.
"Can we keep it?" Roland and Rose plead at the same time.
"I don't like dogs. Where did it even come from?" I say still trying to get it off me.
"We may have accidentally adopted it from the shelter." Robin says and I shoot him another glare.
"How do you accidentally adopt a dog?" I ask and Robin sheepishly smiles.
"We begged and begged and begged. We really want a dog Mommy." Rose says and I instantly melt.
"I guess we could keep it." I say and the kids cheer and the dog licks my whole face.
"Ew, I hate it already!" I say as I wipe my face off.
"Look at his face." Rose says and I do.
"It may be cute but I still hate it. Go give it a bath or something." I say and Roland and Rose run out the room with the dog right behind them.
"Well that went better than I thought it would." Robin says as he leans against the door frame.
"You owe me big time." I say as I walk over to him.

"What do you want?" He asks me as he crosses his arms.
"Well for starters I would love for you to make dinner and then maybe you can take me out to dinner sometime." I say with a smile.
"That's it?" He asks and I smile.
"You'll be sleeping in the dog house tonight." I say with a smirk as I walk out the room.
"We don't have a dog house!" He yells and I turn around to look at him.
"Don't worry You'll buy one." I say with a smirk.
I walk into my room and immediately into the bathroom. I strip from my slobber filled clothes and step into the shower. Once I finish my shower I hum in content as I walk out the bathroom. I groan once I find a very wet dog laying on my bed and chewing on my heels.
"Robin!" I say with a loud groan.
"Oh, sorry." He says sheepishly as he gets the dog off the bed.
"What did you name it?" I ask once the dog is off my bed.
"Rose named him Sammy and Roland and I agreed." He says as he rubs Sammy's head.
"I like the name, it suits him." I say with a smile.
"Oh, so you like the dog now." He says and I frown.
"You're an insufferable man." I say and he laughs.
"You're stunning in every way my love." He says and I blush. "Look at that I made the Queen blush."
"Just get the dog out of here and dry it off. When you're done with that then you can cook dinner and pray that I forgive you for adopting a dog without my permission."
"You must love bossing me around." He says as he walks closer to me and I look up at him.
"I live for it." I say and then I reach up to give him a kiss.

"I love you." He says and I give him a look.
"Of course you do. Now, go do as I said before I get angry." I say with a small smile.
"Come on Sammy." Robin says and the dog follows him obediently out the door.
I sigh as I walk back into the office. I grade unholy test papers until Robin announces that dinner is ready. I walk into the dining room and sit at the small table. I look down to see the dog laying by me feet.
"Aw, he likes you!" Roland beams and I give him a smile.
"Not as much as I do." Robin says and I send him a glare.
After we ate dinner Robin cleaned the kitchen as I bathed the children. Rose insisted that "Robbie" should tuck her in so I tucked in Roland. I couldn't help but smile at the fact that Rose took such a strong liking to Robin.
I got into the bedroom before Robin. I quickly got dressed for bed and laid down in the middle of the bed. Once I hear the door open I close my eyes and pretend to be asleep. Soon a weight shifts the whole bed.
"I know you're awake Regina." He says and I smile up at him.
"What are you going to do about it?" I say giving him a challenging glare.
He quickly straddles me and starts to tickle me. I giggle loudly and try to move under him. His hands furiously wiggle over my whole abdomen and I continue to laugh.
"Robin, stop it!" I yell through a fit of giggles.
"Yell mercy." He easily says and I shake my head.
"Never!" I yell and he keeps tickling me. After a few minutes I'm in dire need of a deep breath.
"Mercy!" I yell but he keeps going. "Mercy, mercy, mercy!" I say and he finally stops.
Before I can even think about getting a deep breath his lips press against mine. I meet his lips in a desperate matter and he smiles. His tongue easily slips into my mouth and we kiss passionately for what seems like hours. I finally can't take it and I break away.
"I'm assuming that was an apology for getting that." I say as I point to the dog that is staring at us.
"Did it work?" He says with a hopeful smile and I smile back.
"Nope. Now, I remember saying that you weren't sleeping in the bed." I say and he gets off of me with a smirk.
"I tried." He says triumphant.
"Not hard enough. Come here Sammy." I say and the dog hops up on the bed. He lays next to me and I cuddle with the large dog.
"I've been replaced!" Robin says as he holds a hand to his chest.
"Sammy is better at cuddling than you." I say as I kiss the dog's furry head.
"I don't believe that. Move it Sammy!" Robin yells and the dog sulks off the bed.
Robin gets under the covers and wraps his arms around me. He looks me in the eyes before he gives me a small kiss.
"I still think the dog is better than you." I say and he frowns.
"I highly doubt that my love." He says as he peppers kisses all over my neck and face.
"You are a far better kisser though." I say with a smile. "Goodnight Robin."
"Goodnight Regina." He says and my eyes flutter close as I snuggle closer to him.
Soon a heavy weight can be felt on my legs and I frown. I open my tired eyes to see Sammy laying by my feet. I give the dog a small smile.
"Goodnight Sammy."
