I wake up in a tatty bed with duvets covers that look like they haven't been washed in like a month and the sound of little child screaming.
I shot up , out of my bed realised I was wet and sucking on my dummy. But I wasn't with that family, I was in a care home . When did they send me back ? Why am I not with them ? What happened? Who took me here and how did I not wake up? Care work Sarah-s

Millie was still in the system and was always dreaming that she would find the right family for her and she will have a happy ending. Well isn't that what all the children in the system want a family that will live and treat them like their own.
Well for Millie she never found the right family she went to a family that was past to have her and after she was out of the system they drugged her and took her oxygen out. she couldn't breath and she sadly passed away the day after her fifteen birthday.

Like some of the reviewers for Volume I mentioned, the MC has a past and it effects his actions and choices in the new world.
