Every breath that swirls

in the freezing winter air

dances and twirls

to the rhythm of my heart;

how it beats when you're near.

Each look from you

makes my throat close up

and I choke on my words,

a stuttering, babbling mess;

inside I die every time,

but you just smile and laugh
