Here I go again

writing poems

about a boy

who doesn't even know

I exist

will nearly get over him

but then see him

and it will all come rushing back

the wild beating of heart

the sweaty palms

the red cheeks

the stuttering

so I'll rather stay quiet

because

what do I even say

I have photos of you

in my phone

some look good

while others I saved

'cause a small part of you was blurred

at the bottom right corner

don't even know you

but I've liked you

since the first time I've met you

and heard you talk

I love your humour

your dumb jokes

and the way you look

you're not what most people

would call hot or pretty

but to me you're beautiful

lean with neck-long hair, a thin nose

small eyes and nerdy glasses

and yet you're still charming

and outgoing and popular

other people love you

I'm sure

and I get jealous so easily

it's embarrassing

'cause you don't even know my name
