《Poems》What Counts (The Small Things)

Clolourful leaves flying in the wind,

a soft whisper carries through the air.

She had eyes seemingly with gold rimmed,

Everyone carries on, completely unaware.

Chased by her sibling with no emotions,

flowers already withered in the cold.

Skin bluer than any lakes or oceans;

he may be the youngest, but is no colt.

Eldest sister of rebirth comes to help,

trying to soothe and calm both down.

The thick ice slowly starts to melt,

each now wearing a pretty flower crown.

Another joins their small family,

burning brightly with a sun's smile.

Together, they may now live happily,

this time it was, after all, worthwhile.
