Feet thumping against the ground,

strong wind blowing after them.

Their giggles creating a beautiful sound,

two girls run as fast as they possibly can.

Chasing each other,

hiding behind old trees.

In the distance stands their mother

giving her husband a small kiss.

Wide apple orchard

provides space to play.

The children keep running forward

and everything seems okay.

Braided hair comes loose

as they swirl around in the falling leaves.

Drinking from a stream is a calm moose,

taking air in its lungs, it slowly breathes.

Girls quickly grew up,

just as the moose left.

Now accompanied by a small pup,

with two other guys they went.

Reaching an old hut,

the place holding childhood memories.

Door behind them falls shut,

the inside is equipped with few accessories.

Peaceful evenings spent together,

four people slowly becoming closer.

Truly feels like they could go on forever,

wishing to stay in this closure.

Times change as some people leave,

only two girls with one boy remain.

One sister tries to find some relief,

her soul will forever be stained.

Two people marry,

leaving the third behind.

The loneliness sure is scary

and in no way is it kind.

A form of relief is found,

even if only temporary.

As she cuts, she makes no sound,

small drops start staining her diary.

Soon it is not enough,

she needs something more.

Wooden floor uderneath is rough,

but she only looks above.

Rope wound around her throat,

air is squeezed out of her.

She slowly starts to choke,

in her mind, no denial does even occur.

Body is found only later,

as a gloomy burial takes place.

Like this, she can help to cater,

while wearing an apple tree's face.
