《Poems》Lovable Abomination
Advertisement
In love with an Angel,
feathers springing from his back.
This broken one-winged stranger
has heart darker than black.
He disobeyed Father's orders,
like a broken doll he fell.
Even Heaven has some borders,
but no time to dwell.
Absent from above,
missing from your life;
he didn't leave a white dove,
only your heart pierced with a knife.
Take the bloodied blade,
let your demons in.
Even though you lost your mate,
you don't wish to commit such a sin.
And you try all the time,
try so hard not to give in,
but sometimes you can do nothing
for them not to win.
Black fog-like soul
visible through both eyes.
Look at your brother's face,
see how he lies.
Fake smile decorates his face,
a look of disgust hidden under a mask.
You cannot keep up with his pace,
he'll be gone before you can ask.
Gone from your life,
no warning or goodbye.
You won't see him again,
no matter how hard you try.
Alone with your demons,
at last, you let them take over.
Angels lost their halos,
each lives the life of a rover.
Heaven and Hell at war,
just like your mind is.
From outside, it looks like a ball,
Angels and Demons dancing.
Music slowly changes,
only a few dancers remain.
This dark storm no longer rages,
inside your soul is now only rain.
It's all too sudden;
everything stops.
As the dead silence
over this battlefield drops.
Bodies laying in pools of blood
at your feet, you can finally see.
Long-lost lover standing on a blue cloud,
After a long time, you're both free.
You stumble forward slowly
as he floats down towards the ground.
Majestic wings now gracing his body,
he starts to heal your biggest wound.
Engaged in a loving kiss,
the two of you stand close.
Not wanting to end this bliss,
only a gentle wind blows.

A group of men walked down the smooth roads of mystreet. "It's this one," a mysterious middle aged man whispered back to the people behind him. They all stood in front of a dark red house with a few stories. A raven haired man ran his fingers through his hair before knocking on the wooden door. "Um hi!
