Early in the morning, the three packed their things inside the car. All the food and needed things inside the villa were all emptied out for Qian Xie's pretense of unlimited food. So if one of the guys would ask about where the food came from, she could easily reason out.

"It's kind of scary. . ." Chen Jian muttered. In his heart, he was still not over after seeing his family turn into a horrifying monster. Although he could protect himself with the guns from Qian Xie and from his ability, he was afraid of seeing a real deal zombie.

Qian Xie silently patted his shoulders and turned to prepare her dual pistols. Tian Ming Jue on the side was amused after seeing his girl professionally holding guns as if she was doing this in her last life– which was actually a fact.

"We're done, we need to get going now." After tying her hair up into a ponytail, Qian Xie proceeded to go out to put all the things inside her car. The guys quietly helped.

"I'll drive." Ming Jue volunteered. He calmly walked and sat on the driver's seat, and Qian Xie sat on the front chair. Chen Jian grunted as he went to the back of the car.

"Remember to open the windows." Qian Xie casually reminded, never expanding her sentence. The guys immediately knew what she meant. It was necessary so that they could kill zombies on their way.

Qian Xie's Macheteé started to back up, and zoomed up to her electric fences. Chen Jian went out to open and close those and sat back inside the car. Qian Xie on the other hand was excited thinking about a killing spree. While she told Ming Jue the directions, she also kept her guard up in case of surprise attacks.

During the whole drive from the base to the city, there were no zombies in sight. This activity left Qian Xie suspicious.

They arrived at the city. The buildings were found on fire, window glasses were broken down, and traces of blood can be seen anywhere. There were also some strange growling noises and cries of help.

Now, Qian Xie figured out. The reason why there were no zombies back then was because it all went into the city. Cities are where people gather, so it's where those digusting zombies feed. No wonder.

"The smell of blood is making me puke. . ." Chen Jian on the back stated. He issued sounds of vomitting as he cursed. Tian Ming Jue who was driving was seriously eyeing the surroundings.

The car's engine was already so loud when all you could hear were the growling sounds of zombies, accompanied by the crackling of flames and occasional cries of help. This made the three of them the center of attraction. Some zombies were already running to catch up to Qian Xie's Macheteé.

"Get ready. Be alert." As fast as Qian Xie stated, she swiftly pulled out a pistol and started shooting from the opened window of the car. Chen Jian on the back also did the same. Tian Ming Jue multitasked easily, his right hand maneuvering the directions of the car while his left hand continuously shooting the zombies on his side.

Loud simultaneous bangs were heard that attracted a lot of zombies. Waves after waves, it seemed like there was no end of them. The three were out of ammo, and it felt risky for Qian Xie to make those appear out of nowhere.

"Anyone have abilities suitable for mass killing?" Qian Xie calmly asked. She could do it on her own but she didn't want to show off.

Chen Jian gulped. "I can use toxic gas." He was very confident with his ability, but in this situation, it was hard to toughen up. His sweat-filled face held a tinge of red.

Late release. I'm afraid it'd be like this starting from now. I get busy with school works every now and then, even weekends. It's hard to find time where I can properly think of the content of a chapter, please forgive me. But I rather release chapters where I have given my full imagination and inspiration other than empty ones.
