I saw Glenn and the others coming back from the run. I walked to them.

Aiden " you obey my orders out there."

Glenn snapped " Then we're just as screwed as your last run crew."

Aiden gave me a quick glance and and stepped dangerously close to Glenn " say that again"

I raised an eyebrow. 

Tara snapped" back off, Aiden"

Aiden pushed Glenn back.

Noah " come on, man. Just take a step back. "

He pushed Glenn again " come on, tough guy."

Glenn gave me a quick glance before asking amused"you think you can impress Ken with that? no one's impressed, man. Walk away"

Deanna came " Aiden! What is going on?"

Aiden looked at her" this guy's got a problem with the way we do things. Why did you let these people in?"

Glenn " Because we actually know what we're doing out there."

Aiden threw a punch at Aiden but Glenn stepped back and pushed him on the ground. Eric came to help but Daryl slammed him to the ground.

Aiden stood up.

I walked to him and shoved him back " Don't mess with my people ever again"

He just smirked at me.

I walked back to Daryl. 

Then i put a hand on his arm " hey, calm down"

He looked at me.

Deanna " I want everyone to hear me out! Rick and his people are part of this community now in all ways as equales. Understood?"

She looked at her son.

Aiden looked at me " Understood?"

Daryl grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. 

Deanna " all of you, turn in your weapons. Then you two come talk to me"

She pointed at Aiden and Eric.

Deanna to dad " I told you I had a job for you. I'd like you to be our constable. That's what you were. That's what you are."

She looked at Michonne " will you accept?"

Dad nodded" okay"

Michonne nodded slowly " yeah, I'm in"

Daryl scoffed and walked away.

I sighed and looked after him.

I walked into my room and saw Daryl sitting on my bed. 

He had his forearm over his eyes. I guess he was sleeping.

He scratched his chest with his other hand.

I leaned against the door frame, amused "you know, you're gonna get in trouble with dad. Guys aren't allowed in my bedroom. "

Daryl took his forearm off his eyes and looked at me. 

I sighed" you're not a fan of dad's new job, are you?"

Daryl shook his head, sitting up.

I sat down next to him " Can I ask you something?"

Daryl nodded" anything"

Me " Be honest, were you jealous when Aiden looked at me the whole time back there?"

Daryl scoffed "hell, no"

I smirked " you know I love you, right?"

Daryl nodded " mhmh"

He looked at me. I kissed him and he kissed back.

 Carl then walked into my room " Why do I have a Dejavou?"

I growled at him.

Daryl got off the bed and walked out. 

Carl sat down next to me.

Me "We were kinda in the middle of something. So it better be important"

Carl sighed" She hates me"

I chuckled " She said that?"

Carl shook his head " no, but I can feel it"

I smiled " You like her"

He nodded. 

I put a hand on his shoulder" you are a Grimes, alright? I was able to get every guy i wanted, Carl, which means you can get every girl you want"

He nodded.

I put an arm around him" let's go downstairs "

He nodded and we walked downstairs.

Everyone was sitting somewhere in the living room.

Carl and Noah were playing cards.

I was outside sitting next to Daryl on the railing while he just stood next to me smoking. I took a drag but then the front door opened and Dad walked out in his new uniform.

I smirked at him and gave Daryl the cigarette back " missed seeing you in an uniform, dad"

Dad nodded at me " thanks"

He looked at Daryl " we good?"

Daryl nodded" yeah"

Dad " I'm trying it on for size "

Carol came out and eyed dad " so we're staying?"

Dad " I think we can start sleeping on our own homes. Settle in."

Carol " if we get comfortable here, we let our guard down....this place is gonna make us weak."

Dad " Carl said that. But it's not gonna happen . we won't get weak. That's not in us anymore . we'll make it work. And I they can't make it...then we'll just take this place. "

I was walking through the streets . It was quiet.

Aiden came up to me and smiled" hey, Kendall"

I nodded " Aiden"

He smiled at me.

Me " what's up?"

Aiden " There's a party at my place. Just a little meeting and drinks. Wanna come?"

I raised an eyebrow" You know I'm with Daryl, right?"

Aiden " just as friends, Ken. "

I sighed and nodded " fine."

Aiden " I'll see you there"

I walked back home and looked through my closet.

Me " that'll work"

It was dark when I got there. i walked inside and saw Dad. I walked to him.

Me " it's good to see you cleaned up"

He looked at me and smiled " You look beautiful, Ken"

I smiled " thank you"

Then i looked around " just that you know, I'm gonna drink tonight"

Dad chuckled " wouldn't have expected others "

I smiled at him and walked to the bar. I grabbed a beer and took a sip. I saw Aiden walking to me.

Aiden " you look good. "

Me " thanks but I still have a boyfriend "

Aiden nodded" I know but i don't see him anywhere"

I saw Carl " I'm gonna talk to my brother. See you later"

Then i walked to Carl " looking good, bro"

I took a sip of my beer and offered it to him " want some ?"

I walked outside and saw Michonne in a dress " There's a first time for everything "

I chuckled, sadly " The end was the best thing of the whole relationship"

Me " drugs, alcohol, abuse"

I smiled at her " He's dead now. Thank god"

i drank my beer " you know, if you want my blades you can have them for now. Hang them up or put them in the attic or somethin'"

She nodded " thanks "

Me " I'm heading home, see if my boyfriend's still there"

I gave her the empty bottle and walked home.

I walked upstairs and laid down.

Glenn, Noah , Tara, Aiden and Nicholas had left for a run. Daryl was God knows where. Carol was baking and Dad was doing his stuff. Carl and I were the whole day playing video games in his room. I was winning of course.

They had come back. Noah and Aiden didn't made it. It was hard.

Glenn was sitting on the porch.

It's been 2 days since I have seen Daryl. Normally I would start to get worried but it's Daryl.

I heard crying outside. i ran out and saw Dad and Pete on the street on each other's throats. Both bleeding.

I yelled" Dad"

Jesse tried to pull her husband off but Pete slapped her and she fell back. Glenn, Rosita and Michonne came. Then Carl and his girl.

I ran to Jesse and helped her up.

Carl tried to push Dad off but Dad hit him by accident and he fell back.

Me " Dad!"

I ran to Carl " You okay?"

Then i helped him up and he nodded.

Deanna and others joined us, shocked.

Deanna " get off him, right now"

Dad whispered something to Pete.

Deanna yelled " Damn it, Rick! I said stop"

He let go of Pete and took his gun out.

Deanna " That's never been more clear to me than it is right now. "
