"Don't pay attention to them, they're always arguing." Daniel says and sits down by the bed. He stares at you for a while. After several minutes of complete silence he decides to speak. "You're a hybrid" He says with a calm voice.

“What?”

"You and your questions." He leans back in his chair. "Your father was a vampire and your mother was a werewolf."

"So I am what?"

"You are human, but when you turn 18 you'll be...less human." He smirks.

This is going to take forever.

"To keep it short, you're some kind of mixture of the two, but how you'll turn out...No one knows, you're the first hybrid that has ever been born." Daniel looks around in the room. There is something that disturbs him.

“What's wrong Daniel?”

"Something's different, can't figure out what it is." He stands up and starts to sniff around the room.

"Weird" you think, but then he stops by your side.

"It's you. That wasn't your scent last night." He looks at you, and you could see that something inside him change.

"No...This isn't right" He said.

"What are you talking about?" You looked at him stunned. His eyes have changed, there's fear in them. "I need to talk to the others" He says and leaves. You decide to follow him since you know they will probably not tell you anything anyway.

You stand by the door to the living room and listen."She is turning. There is no way we can send her back now." It's Adam's voice.

"So soon? I thought it would happen in a week." Ethan says. "She probably won't be fully changed before her birthday. But we will have to watch her more carefully."

You move a little bit closer, but trips and falls. "What was that?" Daniel says and opens the door. The guys look at you.

“Didn't listen I swear.”

"That curiosity might kill you one day."Adam says and helps you over to a chair.

"Well, it's the only way I get to know stuff."

Adam blushes."You're right, we should have told you in the first place."He places his hand on your shoulder."Can you forgive us?

“Only if you promise to tell me the truth from now on.”

"We promise we'll tell you the truth from now on."

"Great,now who wants to kill me?"

Ethan laughs."You're not wasting your time are you?"

Adam points at Daniel and then at Ethan.

“Huh?”

"There's been a war between the vampires and werewolves for decades. It was told that a union of the blood from each clan would bring balance to this world. Neither the vampire king or the leader of the pack wouldn't give up their power, so they promised to make sure that the blood would never be mixed. Then your parents fell in love and you were born. Shortly after you were sent away from this world, your mother was killed. Then someone killed your father, and his daughter blamed the werewolves"

"If either clan find you, they will kill you." Adam finish.

"But you're not trying to kill me?"

Ethan smiles,Daniel doesn't do anything(as usual)."There is a small group that wants you to unite the two; we're a part of them."

"You look tired."Ethan says and helps you back to your room. He gently places you back in your bed."May I?" He points at you ribb."I need to see if it heals right.” you nod and he lifts up a part of your shirt. He softly touch your rib.

"Hm" he says and removes his hand.

“What?" you say.

He looks at you with his green eyes.

"What? What’s wrong?" You asks.

Ethan lowers your shirt."Nothing,it's healing just fine.Well,a little too fine.Might be because of the changing." You lay down on your bed.

"You're worried, aren't you?" Ethan says and looks at you with his green eyes.

“I am just scared of what will happen to me.”

Ethan takes your hand."I wish I could tell you not to worry and that everything will be just fine." then he looks down."But I can’t. No one knows what will happen to you or what you'll become." He tightens the grip around your hand.

"Can I get you anything?" Ethan's voice brings you back to reality. You shake your head and says no thanks. He slowly realizes your hand and stands up. “Get some rest, it’s been a long day." He smiles and walks out the door. You miss his warm hand already.
