Excuse any mistakes
"Are you going to be okay here by yourself?" I questioned Lilo.
"I'll be fine. Go and enjoy your date." She kisses my cheek and attended back to her ice cream.
"Fine."
Lilo and I's relationship has flourished in the last month. She has really grown on me. She was very sweet and caring. I wanted to protect her in any way I could. I'm glad I could her my friend.
"Who told you it was okay to step out the house like this?" Zae leaned against the car watching me walk down. I told him to do just that. I didn't need him coming all the way up.
"Myself." I smiled doing a spin.
"You look sexy." He brought me into a tight hug. I honestly felt safe in his arms.
"Thank you, you look nice as well. Where are we going?"
"An art museum."
"Do you see the way I'm dressed? I can't go in there like this." I frowned.
He laughed. "I'm kidding. We're going to the new restaurant in Buckhead."
"Copper Cove?"
"That's the one."
"I've heard they have great food. Kinda pricey but good." He opened the door for me then jogged to his side getting in.
"That's cool."
Buckhead was only 30 minutes away from where I stayed. When we pulled up, it was packed. I know they had this thing called D'ussé Friday's, which is ladies night. I was excited about that part. I wanted to talk to Zae before we went inside.
"I know things with us are moving pretty fast. I have never been in a relationship and this is all new to me. The best thing for us is to take it really slow."
"I understand."
"You're not mad?"
He frowned. "I can't get mad at that. I respect you enough to respect your rules and wishes."
"Thank you." I kissed his cheek grabbing his hand. He jerked his hand back looking at me.
"What was that? I know we taking it slow but I need them lips." He licked his lips. I leaned up taking his lips into mines. He grabbed my chin sliding his tongue into my mouth. My knees slightly buckled because he never has done that before. Usually, I wouldn't like tongue but with him was different. It sent sparks flowing down to my pearl. I pulled back as dirty thought filled my mind.

"Now, let's go inside." I couldn't even look him in the eyes without wanting to jump on him in front of everyone.
"Hello, welcome to Copper Cover." A woman greeted us right away. "Reservation name?"
I looked at him. "Reservations?"
"Berlinger." Zae answered dismissing my confusion.
"Right this way." She seated us to a big round table. I noticed they had a hookah set in the middle of the table. I was liking this place already.
"My name is Noah, I'll be your server for the night. Can I start you both off with drinks?" He pulled out a notepad.
"I'll take a glass of D'ussé."
He nodded. "For you, sir?"
"Same." When the waiter walked off I looked at Zae sideways. "What?"
"You're not old enough to be drinking." I keep forgetting he's only 20.
"Shh, he don't know that."
"What happens if he ID's us?"
"Then we sharing." He laughed. Luckily when he came back he didn't. Instead, he asked what kind of flavor shisha we want. I picked watermelon with a hint of mint. When I looked over the menu the food prices were kinda ridiculous.
"$60 for lobster and mac & cheese? We could've gone to Red Lobster."
"Get whatever you want." He insisted.
"You sure?"
"Yes."
"Are you guys ready to order?"
"I'll have the lobster and shrimp linguini."
"Let me get the jerk chicken pasta and a side of chicken tacos."
"Alright, I'll have you guys order out shortly."
"I should've got what you got."
"You should've because I'm not sharing."
I frowned. "Not even the tacos?"
"Nope." He laughed.

"I'll be back." I quickly got out of the car walking inside the house. The way my uncle called you'll think someone died. This better be good or I'm going to be pissed.
I could hear him talking to someone in the living room. He and Lola sat on the couch talking back and forth with some lady. I couldn't get a good look at her face. Probably another one of his hopes.
"I was on a date, what's so important?" When I said that his and Lola's eyes widened in shock.
"Really? Who is this person? Is he cute?"
"Girl, fine." I laughed throwing my head back.
"How long has this been going on?" My uncle crossed his arms staring me down. I could never take this man seriously.

"For a while now."
"Well, we're going to have to meet him immediately. I got to see what kinda nigga you dealing with. Is he outside? You should've invited him in."
"Hell no! So y'all can scare him away."
"Umm hello?" The lady interrupted. I frowned up my face wanting to slap whoever she was.
"Luna." He cleared his throat. "This is why I called you over here. She wants to speak with you."
"For?"
"Hi." The woman spoke lifting her head up. I finally got a good look seeing who she really was. She looked like a fucking blow-up doll. I already knew who she was and I never seen her a day before in my life.
"Is this some kinda joke?" I immediately became defensive staring at my uncle.
"I'm guessing you know who this hoe- I mean lady is. She showed up and wouldn't leave until she could speak to you."
"You... um grew." Her eyes scanned my body.
"What do you want?"
"Well, I heard about your father. I'm sorry for your loss." She sounded just how she looked. Fake as hell. "I know how wealthy he was and was wondering if he left anything for me?"
When I tell you that took me out, it literally did. I fell to the ground with tears in my eyes. They all looked at me crazy. I tried to stop laughing but I couldn't. The respect I thought I would have for her whenever we met went out the window.
"What's so funny?"
"YOU! You gotta be a comedian coming in here with that bullshit."
"I'm serious." She said in a snobby tone. I stood up finally catching my breath. I wiped my face becoming serious again.
"Bitch don't get fucking slapped." I snapped. "I don't know what kinda drugs yo plastic ass been taking but you need to hit the door. He didn't leave you shit. You're a Non. Motherfucking. Factor."
"You have no right to speak to me that way. I'm-"
"Finish that sentence and I swear to God I'll slap the shit outta you."
"Now you wonder why I didn't want your stupid disrespectful ass. I knew you would grow up and be nothing but a hoodrat just like your damn father."
My uncle tried catching me but it was too late. My fist connected with her face over and over. I wanted blood and I was going to get it one way or another.
"LUNA YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HER!" Lola screamed. If she didn't shut up, she'll be next.
Her hand went across my face trying to scratch me. I grabbed ahold of them and bent it until I heard a pop. I spit in her face standing up. I fixed my dress taking a deep breath.
"I don't want to commit murder while I have someone outside. You shouldn't have called me over here. That was a bad idea, Gabe." I gritted.
"I didn't know she would say some stupid shit like that."
"Well, now you know. Keep that bitch far away from me because next time she won't make it out alive." I said loud enough for her to hear me clearly.
I took a towel from his kitchen and wiped my hands off then left out the front door. My emotions didn't hit until I was outside. Tears clouded my vision as I approached Zae's car. He looked confused as I got inside. When he seen my tears he grabbed me, cradling me in his arms.
"Are you okay? What's wrong?"
"No." I whispered. What started off as little sniffles turned into loud sobs. "She d-didn't give one fuck a-about m-me. All s-she care about is m-money."
"Who?"
"My egg donor." I sniffed roughly wiping my tears away. I squeezed my fist together feeling myself become angrier. How could those be the first words you say to a child you left after giving birth to them. I guess I should've been more smart about it. If she didn't give a fuck about me then, then she couldn't possibly now.
"Aye, calm down." He grabbed my hand unclenching them. "You can't let a person like that put you in a place like this. You hold your head high and keep going. It may be hard but sometimes in life, we have to deal with things like this."
"I don't know."
"She's the one missing out on what an amazing person you are. You shouldn't be wasting tears on a person like that. I'm sorry you have to go through something like this." He wiped my face.
"Thank you."
"You don't have to thank me. Now, lift up that console and get a napkin. You need to blow that nose." He laughed making me do that same. I grabbed the napkin blowing my nose but then something caught my attention.
"Ummm, Zae?"
"Yeah?"
"What the fuck is this?" I questioned holding up the big bag filled Coke.
