Richie's POV

I felt sick as I ran out. I kissed her. I thought I loved her. I still did. I felt bad for running out but I didn't know what else to do. I shouldn't have left her with him but there's no way I'm going there again. I thought of everything she's ever done for me. And I ran out on her because of her dad. That's what she'd been hiding. Bill was outside. We had an argument because I needed someone to take out what I was feeling at. He punched me. That's when I ran home. I got there to find my mum. "Richard! Where have you been?" She slurred. I hated that name. Only my parents called me it. But I knew they'd never all me Richie and Rich was Y/Ns nickname for me. It broke me when I thought she may never call me that again. "Out" I responded. I felt her hit me. I ran up to my bedroom and cried. I cried for Y/N. I loved her. And she probably felt so bad. Well done Richie, you made the girl you love feel like shit, you knob! I have to apologize to her. I have to have her again.

Y/N POV

When dad left I just cried. Richie hates me. He never wants to see me again. I know it. He'll tell everyone I'm a monster and no-one will ever talk to me again. He'll regret his first kiss and will probably pretend it never happened. That's what hurt more. I'd understand if he hates me, but I wouldn't be able to stand it if he pretended I didn't exist. I hoped he'd calm down in a few weeks but I knew the chances of that was slim. I loved him. And now he'll never love me back. "Why can't I just be normal?" I managed to speak through the tears. Nothing could stop it. I fell asleep that night knowing I'd seen the last of my friends and, even though it pains me to say, Richie Tozier.
