The family sat on the table all waiting for me to arrive.
"So Y/n welcome to the Madrigals family. My name is Abuella, I am Camilo's grandmother."
"Nice to meet you Abuella." I said respectfully to the old lady. "So you know what happend with the magic?"
"How do you know about the magic?" Mirabel asked.
"I told her." Camilo explained. "And showed my awesome superpower ofcourse."
I rolled my eyes.
"My dear, there is alot you need to know about the magic in our Casita. We on the other hand, have no cleu why your here. What happend?"
"She transported threw my DOOR." Camilo said.
"She appeard in my room, then we met and that is all I know."
"Do you remember what happend Y/n?" Abuella asked.
I shook my head.
"I don't remember anything. Well not how I got here."
"Well okay. Let's introduce ourselves. You can stay here until we have found a sollution to bring you back to where you came from." Abuella said.
"Thank you." I said and joined the tabel with Camilo.
I was sitting next to his little brother.
"I am Antonio, Camilo's brother." He said giving me a hand. I shook his hand and smiled.
"Hi Antonio."
Antonio smiled.
"Tomorrow I will have my gift." He whisperd to me.
Ah so we already had the beginning of the movie and I just ruined everything. Cool.
"That's cool. What power would you like?" I asked.
"I don't know, I like animals." He answerd. "You don't have a gift?"
"I don't think so." I answerd.
"How did you transported here then?" He asked curious.
He seemed genuenly interested in me and I found it so cute.

"Antonio, I told her that's for another time." Abuella said and sighed. "Dolores can you pass me the salt? Not you Mirabel."
We started to eat and it was delisious.
"Hm this is great!" I said enjoying my meal.
"Julietta is the best cook in the house." Camilo said.
"Ahw thank you." Jullieta said smiling.
After talking with the family I started to get to know them. Camilo the shapeshifter, Antonio can talk to animals. We alweady know that but he still needs to get his gift.
Dolores hears everything.
We've already noticed that.
Pepa can control the weather, well not really control it. It often changes her mood.
Felix has no powers but is Pepa's husband.
Luisa is very strong.
Isabella is perfect and can bloom beautiful flowers.
Mirabel doesen't have a gift.
Jullieta heals with her cooking skills.
Augustin is the husband of Julieta.
Abuella is the grandmother of Camilo, Mirabel, Antonio, Luisa, Isabella and Antonio.
She doesen't have a gift.
And then we have this living house Casita.
The Madrigals were all familiar with.
It was hard for me to pretend I didin't knew them. But I succeeded. Sometimes Camilo looked at me suspisious. He was constantly keeping an eye on me.
After the diner Abuella was talking with the grownups what to do with me.
The young people waited on the tabel. I awkwardly tapped with my fingers on the tabel.
"You can stay in my room if you want." Mirabel suggested.
"Why would she want to be with you?" Isabella snapped.
Oh ofcourse I remember, they still hate eachother.
"I would like that thank you." I said to Mirabel.
I secretly am on Mirabels side and planning to be friends with her. Even though the Madrigals are all great.

Mirabel gives Isabella a grin. Isabella rolled her eyes. Probably already diciding to dislike me that I choose her giftless sister.
"What? Why can't she stay in my room? I found her!" Camilo protested.
Isabella laughed.
"She would deffently not sleep in a guys room!" Dolores exlaimed.
"Whats wrong with that? I would not do anything." Camilo defends.
"That's what every boy says. Boys with a girl in a room cannot be trusted." Isabella said.
Camilo blushed feeling humiliated.
I know he didin't mean it like that.
I did a hand on his shoulder and he looked at me questioning.
"I know you mean it well. But there right." I said.
"Hmmph." Camilo said crossing his armes and looking mad at his nieces.
"You can visit my room!" Antonio said.
"They said no guys in the rooms!" Camilo said mocking his niece with a pitch high voice turning into Isabella.
I laughed.
"I don't sound like that!" She said.
"I don't sound like that." Camilo mocked again with a high pitch voice.
I laughed again with Mirabel.
"Stop Camilo!" Isabella said angry slamming her hands on the tabel.
"Stop Camilo." He said dramaticly posing her.
"That's it you little brat!" She hissed and ran to him.
"Ha you can never catch me." He said running upstairs.
"Children behave!" Abuella said.
I heard Camilo laughing and Isabella cursing.
"Welcome to the Madrigals
Y/n. It's sometimes chaotic but also very loving family."
"Oh I can see that." I said.
I am already enjoying my first stay here.

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. When the boy is accepted into Arcana Academy, his talent in the pillars of mana foundation awes everyone. All the bigger is the eventual disappointment when Terry turns out to be an utter failure at spellwork. Diagnosis? Major aspect impairment. No cure. Ever. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Further Arcs are still in the sketching and idea collection phase.
