Johnny cept ramming on his weel.
"Oh I'm dead!" he said in defeat. I did a hand on his shoulder and looked at him with a worried expression. There is nothing we could do about it and he knew.
Johnny's pove
Johnny waited impaitent with Y/n in jail when I finally could talk to him. Johnny told Y/n to let him speak with his dad in person because he is verry pissed on him but Y/n refused and wanted to be with me anyways. Johnny was partly glad that she wanted to be with him. He felt more secure when she is around me.
"Where were you?" His dad said mad.
"Uhm, well the thing is, I went to get gass..." Johnny started to make up.
"DONT LIE TO ME!" Marcus yelled slamming on the table making Y/n whinced and he was in shock.
"Uhm.... I was at rehearsal... with....with Y/n."
"Rehearsel?! For what!" Johnny sighed.
"I was at a singing contest." Dad looked with disbelieve at me. "Look dad, I'm sorry I just don't want to be in your gang. I want to be a singer." "Singer?"
"Look dad, it's okay I can get the bail money. There's prize it's a 100.000 dollars....."
Dad slammed on the table again Y/n whinced again not daring to look him in the eyes.
"How did I end up with a son like eh? Your nothing like me. You never were and you never will be." He said walking away.
"I'll get you out! Dad wait! I'll get the money I promise!" Johnny said slamming on the window. He returned.
"And tell me the truth about Y/n, you never where a couple in the first place right?"
"What? Uhm no... she....uhm... well its a long story but she doesen't have a place to stay so... I...kinda addopted her?"
"What?!" Y/n said.
"You are the reason everything changed." Dad said to Y/n and with that he walked away wich made me more angry.
"You can't blame her on this leave her out of this!" Johnny yelled back before he was gone.

"It's okay, he is right." Y/n said also walked away. "What? Y/n wait, wait, wait!" Johnny said running after her.
"He is right because of me he is in jail." She said.
"No thats not treu. It's not your fault it's my fault okay? It's my fault we left. It's my fault we were too late in rehearsal and you missed your song. It's my fault you couldent get the chance to do your audition and it's my fault I didint lissened to you plus that my dad is in jail." Johnny said gently grabbing Y/n's armes. Y/n cried softly and Johnny pulls her in a hug. Y/n hugged him back and they stayed like that for a while.
Your pove
I woke up at midnight after a nightmare. I sighed and noticed that Johnny's bed was empty. He left a note that he was at the theater.
"What are you doing in the theater?" I thought and hopped out of bed. I still need to talk to Buster about something. As I arrived the lights were out and I sneaked inside a window. I heard some soft piano lessons from Johnny and it made me smile. He came back to practice with Mr Crawley. And I gotta say he gets better. I walked to Busters office slowly walking inside notecing its empty.
"Buster?" I asked closing the door. No answer. I walked to the drawer and opened it seeing Buster laying in his bed but whide awake.
"What are you doing here Y/n? Are you breaking in my room?"
"Can I still get a chance of rehearsal please?" I asked. Buster sighed and lays back to his side.
"You werent there when we gave you the chance."
"Can I get another chance please?" I asked.
Buster sat up looking at me and sighed once againd rubbing his eyes.
"If you tell me the reason you werent there."
"Johnny had some family issuse including me with it. I am not going to share more details because it's persenal for him."
Buster nods. "Alright, alright, if you give me a sec and let me dress?"

I turned red.
"Oh...right... okay." I said and left the room closing the door. I listened to Johnnys piano music when Buster opened the door fully dressed but still his hair was sticking every where wich made me chuckel.
"What?" Buster asked.
"Oh no is it my hair??"
"Yes, I think its kinda cute." I said.
Buster rolled his eyes. "Don't call me cute. But I will accept is as a compliment I guess." "You sure should see it as a compliment." I said laughing walking after Buster.
"Your the first person to see my face when I sleep so don't tell anyone."
"I won't." I said when we walked.
Buster stopped when he heard Johnny's piano music.
"Ah. I see Johnny is here to practecing with Ms Crawley? He is getting better."
"Yeah he is." I said proud.
"So... ready for your rehearsal?" Buster said sitting on his chair with a peace a paper.
"I guess yeah." I said. "But you don't have Eddie for the music."
Buster smirked.
"I'd say be creative."
I grunted and looked around.
There was a piano standing on the side. I shove the piano in the middel and dat down. Looking at Buster.
"You can begin now." He said.
I nod and played the first keys.
I sang the song no angel by Birdy and closed my eyes while singing:
"Remember once the things you told me. And how the tears ran from my eyes. They didin't fall because it hurt me. I just hate to see you cry.
Sometimes I wished we could be strangers. So I didin't have to know your pain. But if I cept myself from danger. This emptiness would feel the same.
I aint no angel, I never was. But I never hurt you, it's not my fault. You see those eggshells, there broken now. A million peaces stewn out across the ground.
Did you ever really love her? Or was it that you feared letting go? You should have known that you could trust her. But you pretend like I don't know.
I aint no angel, I never was. But I never hurt you, It's not my fault. You see those eggshells, there broken now. A million peaces stewn out across the ground.
I want to tell you that I'm sorry. But that's not for me to say. You can have my heart, my soul, my body. If you promise not to go away.
I aint no angel, I never was. But I never hurt you, it's not my fault. You see those eggshells, there broken now. A million peaces stewn across the ground."
I stopped playing and noticed Johnny and Ms Crawley standing on the side of the podium and clapping. Even Buster was clapping and standing.
"Wauw that was amazing!" Buster said excited. "You really have talent Y/n and I knew that from the beginning. This is for now one of the best auditions I had today."
He shook his head smiling.
"Thank you Buster for listening to me and sorry for getting you out of bed so late."
"You kidding? You could wake me up for talent like this. I don't want to miss it. Great job Y/n." He said and I smiled even more.
Buster made my day a bit brighter.
Johnny walked to me after I was done talking with Buster.
"You did great."
"Thanks. You too. Shall we go home?"
"I accually want to ceep practecing with Ms Crawley. I finally have the hang on it."
"Sure thing. I will find a place to sleep." I said tired.
"You sure? I could take you home."
"Nah you should practice further your great."
Johnny suddenly picked me up and I was surprized.
"I will find you a sleeping spot." Johnny said and I blushed.
"You don't..."
"Have to do this yeah, yeah. But I want to." He said smiling. "I get a dejavu moment have I said that before?"
I laughed.
"Oh Johnny your truly one of a kind and a best friend to have." I said smiling snuggeling against his chest.
"Well I hope more then friends." Johnny said but I already was asleep fast in his armes.

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom."
