"You better return that as soon as possible!"
"I will! And thank you!" I fly out of the open library and land at my isle and walked onto my dorm, as soon as I got in I plopped onto my bed and open some pages of the book
I light the lantern beside me and laid back on my bed to continue reading.
As I was on the half page, my window shows a flash of light from the distance. Does it seem that there is someone in there that works?
I looked at my lantern knowing that the candle is about to run out any seconds, and it's a bit gloaming in here.
Not sure why, but my mind thought it would be a good idea to read on the giant lamp tower.
I know someone is working in there, but What if they need help? Who knows but it could be
I walked outside grabbing my books and fly onto the big tower, it took a long flight but it wasn't a big waste
I took a peek inside before going in, it seems that the lamplighter is fixing? Or just testing? I don't know. But I mean, I'm here just to get a better view of reading.
He turned around "Oh, sorry. Didn't see you there" before going back on his doings
"Don't mind me, just trying to get a better read"
"I understand... Hey"
I looked up at him confused, he turns around fully. "You're that rookie everyone has been talking about huh? (Y/n) isn't it?"
"Yeah, I'm surprised I'm already famous around here" you joked, he snorts and went back to fixing. "I thought what they say was facts, you were hostile. That's what I heard "

"If you push my limits yes"
"But you seem to be a nice girl.." He taunted, I laughed a bit at his acknowledgment.
"You're not wrong"
*tick*
You looked at the lamplighter questioning why he's been turning the light on and off, it went on like this for a while but you don't feel uncomfortable.
But after a couple of pokes, you noticed he was puffing beside you. "Still going for it?"
"Orders are orders"
"You seem quite exhausted. Why don't you just try to take a rest, let alone lamp"
He looked at you and then the lamp before accepting you're kind to offer, and sat beside you still tired
You flip page to page, his attention finally caught on you. "People don't read much nowadays. Why you?"
"It's just interesting to read"
He looked at your book, trying to recognize the title. "Looks familiar"
You glance at him being serious "you've read it?"
"Once, it was good. But the ones I read have a missing page, it wasn't all good so I stop at chapter... 2"
"Coincidence, wanna read it with me?"
He widened his eyes, it sounds uncomfortable because he doesn't want to interrupt you're reading "are you sure?"
"Why not?"
He scooted closer to you reading together trying to make his spare time a bit useful. And he'd be lying if he said he didn't regret it

Right Side of Hell
Albus Dumbledore was sure he made the right choice sacrificing an innocent child. Too late he understood how terrible that mistake was. Harry Potter was not what he wanted him to be, he was not what the magical world expected him to be. He was not a replica of James, instead, he inherited more of Lily. Far too much to be convenient.

A Demon Lord's Reincarnation
Selina’s got a pretty active imagination. When doing math, she pretends that she is a great detective solving a heinous crime! Ordinary tasks, like a trip upstairs, turn into a perilous adventure to raid a dragon’s cave! She believes that life should be full of wonder and magic, and tries to force the world to cope with her conviction! But when Selina wakes up to remember her past life as the Demon Lord, she has to face the fact that real life is messy, and not anything like what she imagined. With ancient powers stirring, family problems, and the hectic life of a teenager, Selina will have to discover more about herself if she is going to survive the trials ahead. With the help of her best friend and a fair share of luck, she might just get through this alive. Maybe. (Updates (hopefully) on Sundays) This story started out as a flipped isekai. Instead of a hero being pulled into a medieval world, a Demon Lord is pulled into the modern world. It has since moved a bit beyond that initial premise but it is the foundation of the work. Along the way, I threw in dragons, elves, dwarves, and some vampires (but no werewolves, gotta nip that in the bud) all wrapped up in the political drama of a modern world. The story, however, will mainly focus on the characters and their development and as such, is a bit of a slow burn. It may take a couple of chapters to get into. You have been warned! (PS, please show patience for the author's notes. They're a bit crazy and don't always make the most sense. The author's a bit of a ditz. Please ignore him.)

A Fragmented Mind
"Hi there. My name is Richard Maddox, but my — admittedly nonexistent — friends call me Rick. I live in a world of superheroes and villains. A world filled with magic and physics-defying powers, and in this world, I'm just an ordinary, completely average 17-year-old boy. My imaginary friends, however, are as far from average as you get. You think you're good at deluding yourself? Well, stand back, because it's time for a master to show you his craft. Welcome to my life, the life of a madman." This story was originally inspired by the 'Legion' novella series written by Brandon Sanderson. If you've read those books and liked them, it might be worth giving this a read. The same goes if you haven't read them either, I guess. (Currently re-writing earlier chapters)
