《The Bad Boy's Favorite Girl》|twenty|

And just like that, I ended up in a car with my ex-boyfriend, ex-bestfriend, and the guy I had recently hooked up with.
It was this van that Darin's parents had for some reason. It had 3 rows of seats in addition to the front two. Hannah was sitting shotgun and Darin was driving. Erin, Griffin, and Kyle were in the first row, along with Will, who wasn't there last night. Savannah, Jenny, and their friend Elle were in the row behind them, and then Jay and I sat in the last row. Erin and I were separated by a row of people yet there was still so much tension. This was probably so awkward for Jay. At least I'd feel awkward in his position.
Although he seemed perfectly comfortable, chatting away with me and the girls in front, who had turned around so it was easier to converse. And our friend group always welcomed new people. They intergrated so many friend groups and didn't care who came along to our hangouts. Only Savannah and Jenny knew Elle but everyone was cool with her right away.
We'd been driving ever since ten this morning. We made so many stops and Darin was such a shitty driver that we'd get there at around five and it was supposed to be a four hour drive. The party was tonight and it was supposed to start at nine thirty. We'd have four and a half hours to clean up the house, get food, alcohol (Jay had a fake and Will and Kyle and Darin were all over him finding out where he got such a good one), and to get ready ourselves. I'd come in flowy shorts and a plain white tee. I had no makeup on and my hair was in a sloppy bun on top of my head.

We'd be spending the night and Kyle had said with a wink that Jay and I could have a bedroom to ourselves. I wondered what my mom and dad would think if they knew I was sleeping in the same bed as a boy...
