Mahi's POV -

Mahi just drove aimlessly thinking what had he done to his kids.

What would be Rohit's my little Ro's state at that time ?

How Virat my Cheeku would have handled everything?

Cheeku who could not bear a scratch on Ro had to see him like that.

And Ro how much he suffered.. he got drunk .. he was not capable of handling a single drink and because of everything he got drunk.

Because I didn't trust him he thought Virat his best friend also left him.

How could I do this ?

How could I not trust them at that time ?

He just went to a place where he could get a bit of solace right now.

He sat there remembering the dreadful day which led to this.

Flashback -

Virat had resigned from the captaincy and Rohit was made full time white ball captain.

Virat was the most happy person for Rohit as he totally deserved it.

But unfortunately when they were in SA for the first tour of him as a captain. He got injured and on top of that what was even more upsetting that they lost under KL's captaincy.

Also in tests they lost the series which was disheartening for them.

When they returned to India they gathered in hotel for upcoming series and Mahi came to meet them.

They were sitting in the team room but Rohit and Virat were not there with them.

Kuldeep came in the room - "Turn on the news"

News -

Rohit Sharma has been accused of fixing the knockout matches along with Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli have made a huge amount of money out of it which he used it in his "things" he likes to do. That is also the reason that he has resigned from the captaincy.

Mahi immediately called Dada to get to know more about it. Whole team was dependent on Mahi at that time.

Mahi - What's going on Dada ?

Dada - I am afraid all the evidences are against them Mahi.

Dada sent him the evidences and it was looking real. Mahi didn't wanted to believe that his kids could do something like this but he stumbled a bit seeing Virat's and Rohit's signature in that.

The signatures proved all his beliefs wrong about his kids. They had been taking money for this. That thought itself disgusted Mahi.

Virat and Rohit arrived there without knowing about the news.

They saw everyone standing shocked.

Mahi - "Why Rohit ?"

He said and handed him the documents.

Virat - "What happened Bhai ?"

Mahi - "You should think before calling me Bhai Virat ? How could both of u do this ?"

Rohit stumbled seeing that documents and the news which was going on the TV. Virat held him and saw the documents himself.

"This is all nonsense Ro could never do this neither could I" Virat said.

"I havent done this Bhai .. trust me" Rohit said with tears in his eyes.

Virat looked at everyone and didn't find a hint of trust in their eyes. They were just looking at them with accusing eyes. Tears made way through his eyes seeing the same look on Mahi bhai's face.

Rohit kneeled infront of Mahi - "Bhai trust me I didn't do this .. also Vi cannot do this .. bhai trust us please .. believe me .."

Virat was watching with tears how Rohit was crying and trying hard to make Mahi believe but to his horror Mahi turns his face.

Virat kneeled beside Rohit and said - "Ro get up there is no use of shedding this tears .. no one believes us here"

Rohit shrugged his arm and got up again - "Bhai please trust us .. I can never do this bhai .. please bhai We can never betray the team"

KL - "You are consoling Rohit but u have been accused of the same and worse Virat"

Virat - "I don't care KL"

KL - "you used money which made by fixing for your luxury Virat how could u"

Virat looked at him in disbelief.

Mahi - "You should Virat .. as u have been accused the worse Virat"

Virat - "U don't trust us right then why do u care .."

Mahi - "I didn't say I care or trust"

Virat - "then as I said I don't care MS .. I will prove it u that Rohit could never do something like this and nor did I do anything."

Virat took Rohit by his shoulders and took a last look in the room only to meet with the accusing glares of everyone.

That was the last time he saw Virat and Rohit until he met them for the venture.

How would have they managed everything ?

How would have My Cheeku managed .. he had to be so strong for Rohit !!

That's why Virat got scared that day when Rohit was not in office.

How could I do this ?
