《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Ten: Magic word_

"I'm warning you Loki. Get me out of here or I'll kill you." I growled as he continued to laugh his ass off.
"Candy-oh man- this is by far one of the funniest things you've done." He said laughing.
"Loki!" I shouted as I struggled to stand up the weight of the net.
"We should wait 'till Balthazar gets back. I mean he is boss around here." Loki said with a chuckle.
"No! Get me out now!"
"Say the magic word," Loki said with a smirk. "I swear to god if you change it each time I get it right..." I said angrily.
"I promise Candy." I rolled my eyes. "Please?" I guessed. Loki crossed his arm.
"You think I'm that stupid?"
"Well, I don't know! I was just checking."
"Okay sure. Keep guessing." I sighed. "Chocolate?" Loki shook his head. "Candy?" Loki shook his head again. "Nope." He said popping the p.
"Lolipop?" No.
"Trick?" Nope.
"You're the best?" No again.
"I don't know Loki! I'm tired and not in the mood to play your games." I growled pulling at the net.
"It's easy. All I need you to say is simple. It's only four little words. You're basically already saying it." I narrowed my eyes at him thinking.
"What? That I need your help?" Loki put on a broad look and started to clap slowly. "Good job. Way to go you got it on your own." He snapped his fingers and the net disappeared.
"That was a huge waste of time Loki," I said picking my jacket up and rolling my flannel sleeves down.
"And what did you plan on doing with that time?" Loki asked me as he followed me back inside.

"I don't know. Maybe try to get out of this house or watch a show or I don't know, get out of this house!" I shouted putting my jacket on.
"Come on Candy. Didn't Balthazar tell you why you're here anyway?" Loki asked me as I pulled my hair out of the back of the jacket. We came to the living room and I turned to face Loki.
"That's another thing. He seems to think I'm some kind of demon spawn from Hell. I have never in my life shown any signs of being related to a demon." I frowned.
"Well, your hand healed pretty fast..." Loki said looking at my hand. This made me growl in frustration.
"Did you know about this?"
"About what?" I huffed in annoyance. "About this!" I said gesturing to the house. "Did you know that Balthazar was going to kidnap me?" I questioned him. "I wouldn't call it kidnapping..."
"So you knew about this?" I asked him again. "Maybe..." I let out an angry huff and let my hands fall to my side. "Great,"
"I didn't know about it since very recently."
"And what's recently in your book?" Loki scratched the back of his head. "A little while after we meet..."
"Come on Loki! I knew I shouldn't have let you follow me around like a dog!" I shouted storming towards the stairs. "Candy-"
"Stop calling me that!" I shouted walking up the stairs. Loki followed after me. "Cansas -wait." I walked into the first room I found. "Cansas stop-" I cut him off.
"I mean when do you plan on not lying to me anymore?" I asked turning on him fast. He looked to be taken aback by this. Like it actually hurt him. Like he cared enough to get hurt by my mere words.

I huffed and slammed the door shut in his face. Crossing my arms I looked around the room. It was dark and only had one window that lit up a part of the room dimly.
There was a bed in the center of the room and a few other things that you would find in a bedroom. I walked over to the window. Looking out I could see the front yard. It was big and forest surrounding the area. A long road led out of the property and onto the main highway.
But what caught my eyes was the car sitting in the driveway. It was my purple piece of junk car. A soft knock on the door made me look away from my car.
"Cansas ...you still in there?"
"Are you still standing there?" I asked walking over to the door.
"Well...no not exactly. I'm sitting." I shake my head and sit down as well. "You know lying is my thing right?"
"I know," I said resting my head on the door. "I'm a liar too you know," I said pulling my knees up to my chest. I heard Loki chuckle.
"Oh yeah? How?" He asked. I stayed quiet for a while. "I'm a liar when I say I'm not a demon thing. I know I'm different. And it scares me..." I said tears coming to my eyes. Loki was quite on the other side of the door.
"Can I come in Cansas ?"
I whipped the tears that fell quickly and stood up. I opened the door and to see Loki was standing there. I gave a weak smile and he smiled back.
"It's going to work out fine. You have Balthazar...and I to help you. And we're going try and help you control your powers. I mean whos a better teacher than me?" Loki asked making me chuckle. "What? Did I say something funny?" I shook my head trying to calm my chuckles.
"No...no you didn't. Thanks for not being a complete ass." Loki placed a hand over his heart in mock hurt.
"Me? An ass? Never." He said making me shake my head. "Cansas. How was your-" I turned around to find Balthazar standing there.
"When did you get here Loki." Balthazar as with narrowed eyes. "Nice to see you too Balty," Loki said with a smirk. Balthazar rolled his eyes and looked back to me.
"Here I got your bags for you dear," Balthazar said handing me my bags.
"Did you also get my car?" I asked making Balthazar shake his head.
"You think he could carry that thing all the way back here. No. I bought it here as a peace offering." Loki said with a smile. I turned to look at him.
"Well, thank you. You to Balthazar." Balthazar smiled at me.
"Now if you'll both excuse me I think I might go to bed for a year."
