"So Dan!" - Aubrey shouts over the loud snow machine - "in this scene we need you walking down the street. Act like how you normally be would on a Monday morning." Even though Aubrey's directions are fairly precise and easy to follow...Dan decides to complicate things.
"What is his emotions? Like does he look like a mindless zombie or is he smiling or?" Dan's voice trails off while he gets the impression that Aubrey isn't in the mood to deal with his questions. "Just walk like how you normally would do on a Monday morning."
With that Charlie, who is currently adjusting her costume with her wardrobe team, overhears. She quickly shoo's everyone away and stands next to Dan with her hands firmly placed on her incredibly slim waist. Dan doesn't notice her, but she continues to linger.
"Yeah...but..." Dan knows that he is being a nuisance. However, he just wants to know what emotions is his character feeling. It's something of which Aubrey doesn't know herself. So that's why she avoids the answer and tries to belittle Dan for her little mishap.
Charlie rolls her eyes back. She turns her head towards Aubrey who hold's her head with one hand and her pen with another. "Dan! Walk down the street like you work in a full time job with shitty pay" Dan then awkwardly looks around, nobody else seems to be listening to their conversation to help him understand.
However, Charlie politely interrupts the conversation with a friendly smile towards Dan. Charlie doesn't acknowledge the director at all, it's no secret that they both don't enjoy working with each other. Charlie is the single thing that put Aubrey off of making this film, but Aubrey wants money. Even if the film was to 'bomb' in the box office, people would still talk about her. The cash would still flow into her large bank account somehow.

"Liam Dawson is a joker" - Charlie points towards Dan - "he always has been...even before coming Illusion. Liam also had depression, but no one really knew. So walking to work for Liam would be...kind of sad. Don't you think? It's the last moment of the entire day where he can be himself without being a fake clown. After all, Liam's goal is to make everyone around him smile. Even if it means making a fool out of himself."
Almost immediately Dan knows how he must act.
"It's basically the same as going to work on a Monday morning." Aubrey almost hisses, she's displeased that Charlie knows the characters better than she does.
"You have never been depressed before." Charlie almost laughs in Aubrey's face. She only wants to laugh because Aubrey's comment couldn't of been more inaccurate. Dan on the other hand doesn't say anything, he wants Charlie to keep talking. He feels like Charlie is the only person who makes sense on this set.
"Being depressed is so much harder than going to work on a Monday morning." With that Aubrey shrugs.
"I didn't know we had a new producer." Aubrey then snaps in jealous. It's almost without a doubt that Aubrey scans her co-lead actress up and down, she wants to find a fault in Charlie. Something to make her feel better about herself. Something to belittle Charlie with. She'll look for any imperfection in those who she is jealous of.
Of course Aubrey laughs at the only flaw that is visible on Charlie...
"Last time I checked Lily Marrow doesn't have tattoos." Aubrey laughs after nodding her head towards Charlie's tattoo.
"Hey-" Dan cuts himself off while Aubrey rudely walks away.
"Shit." Charlie whispers while she pulls the baggy silk shirt over her shoulder. It's way too large for her slim figure as the thin material keeps sliding off of her every time she moves. So Charlie holds the shirt in place. Dan then notices that she is becoming anxious.

"Thanks for helping me..." - Dan's voice trails off - "I need visual guide with these things. It's why music videos took forever to get right." Dan smiles in hopes to cheer Charlie up, of which he surprisingly does.
Charlie cracks a wide smile. "It's no problem." She smiles back before there's silence again. They then both awkwardly look in the opposite directions, while people in the art department lay the fake snow out on the road behind them.
After a few more seconds of avoiding each other, Charlie smiles thinking about a non existent conversation she would like to have with Dan. I can tell you all about your new alter ego if you want. Then me and you can get a drink after? - She thinks about helping Dan learn, it's a sweet gesture on her behalf. But those words don't fall out of her mouth.
"Hey..." She then smiles while Dan turns his head and looks at her.
"Why don't me and you get a drink later? And then I can maybe help you learn a bit about Liam and Lily? Only if you want to, I know that you're a busy guy and all." That's not exactly what she wanted to say, but it was definitely much better than what she was intending to say.
She really likes Dan.
Dan, who is in shock that Charlie made her move first, silently nods his head. His blue eyes grow bigger with delight, and his crooked tooth emerges from his pink lips along with his kind dimples.
"Yeah." Dan nods his head.
"I'd love that." Charlie nods her head, she can't hold back a smile any longer. She's never felt like this way before because of a guy, especially a shy one.
Before she can say anything else to her new friend, someone ushers Dan to the marked area of the pavement. Dan fries looking back but nearly ends up slipping due to a fault in the snow machine.
Charlie stands to one side and watches Dan walk to the marked area, all while she stands behind the tripod and the best boy. Her wardrobe team, that she previously shooed away, spots that she's alone again and quickly hurries to her side. Charlie doesn't say anything to them while they quickly sort out the silk problem with a few safety pins.
Her eyes remain locked on Dan. she sees what everyone else doesn't see in Dan's acting...
She sees potential.
