I ran into the café, a hot mess. I was sweating and out of breath.
Hayley ran over to me. "What happened Ashley?"
"Melanie is watching me" I managed to get out in between breaths.
Hayley's eyes widened "What?"
"She texted me this morning and I just ignored it and then I said you won't hurt me to the phone and I got a text saying we'll see about that" I showed Hayley the texts and she hugged me.
"That's so creepy Ashley I'm so sorry"
She sat me down and tried to comfort me. She even ordered me hot chocolate and a muffin but I was still shaken up.
"We can leave our date until tomorrow if you like and just go back to your house...or mine...and watch some movies"
I nodded "I'd like that, thank you Hayley"
She took my hand "Let's go then. Mine or yours"
I pointed to her "Yours"
