I wake up with sun streaming on my face. I slowly open my eyes and when my senses clear I hear a shower running. I look around and when I see the leather couch I remember yesterday's events which makes me blush. I get up from bed and tidy it. Mine and Gregori's side. For all I know he was being a gentleman again and didn't cross his half of bed -something I asked him not to do until I am ready.

I look around the room and fold some of his clothes, then go to pick my dress. I need shower really badly, because I haven't shower yesterday when I was to tired to even breathe.

I need to choose a dress that will prove I an worth of being Gregori's mate. I know I need to prove that with my actions but I need to look the part too.

And I have the dress just for that. I take her in my hands.

"Hello treasure." I hear Gregori's voice behind me and I jump a bit, since I was lost in my own thoughts. He chuckles.

"Hi. Did you sleep well?" I fidget with my choosen dress for the day. He is wearing one of his suits, looking all effortlessly handsome.

"I did. So did you I hope." I nod at him. He takes my hand in his. "Are you feeling alright? Was last night okay? Did it hurt?" His eyes are reflecting concern.

I squeeze his hand a bit in reassurance. "I am feeling great. It didn't hurt, it was rather satisfying." I honestly tell him. I am not some prude and if him drinking my blood is satisfying I have no problem in admitting that. I do mind telling that to other people tho.

He then smirks at me.

"That is nothing compared to when we will mate." And I roll my eyes.

I then take my leave and go to bathroom where I take my time to prepare myself -physically and mentally. I expect Gregori to be already gone, but there he is sitting on the bed lost in his thoughts.

"Gregori?" He looks at me and on his lips forms a smile.

"You look gorgeous." A simple statement and yet I feel my cheeks burn a bit. "Come on it's time to meet the family." Again he laces our fingers together and start walking around the castle. We don't greet any guards. Although I want to I respect his fathers rules.

"Treasure you don't have to make our bed in the morning. Maids can do it." He says to me quietly, when we walk through an empty hallway.

"If you don't mind, I would like to be the one who does it. They can dust our room and vacuum clean it, clean the bathroom but I think I would like to keep that as my chore." I don't like the thought of someone else doing it. If there was a possibility where I could clean and cook our everything then I would, but I know it's not an option so I choose what I know I can get.

"As you wish treasure." We now step through the doors into a massive dining room where at the end of the table I see three figures if I don't count maid and guards surrounding it. I gulp. This is it.

As we get closer I recognize one of the figures to be Vampire King, the other one is a cute little girl. And the last one is eyeing me up and down, not hiding his want for me which radiates of him. I take a step closer to Gregori. Who ever that man is, I don't like him. He probably knows I am Gregori's mate and yet he dares to openly check me out.

The little girls stands from the table and runs towards Gregori -right into his embrace. When he hugs her, his hand leave mine and I feel cold, lost. The minute they retrieve from the hug he takes my hand in his and I can see his shoulders relax a bit. I guess he felt coldness too.

"Gregori I am so happy to see you!" Little girl exclaims. As Gregori she has blond hair, but her eyes are brown not blue. Her hair is nicely styled and she is wearing a crown. She is dressed in a beautiful red gown. She looks about eight years old. But wears the amount of jewelry not even adults do. By her looks I can say with no doubt she is a princess.

"Ekaterina I am so happy to see you too little sister. I want you to meet my mate -Evelyn." I smile at her and bow a bit.

"I like her already. She is a princess just like me, isn't she! Will you play tea party with me?" She directs the question at me.

"If your brother finds it suitable I would love to play tea party with you." She gives her brother the most adorable pleading face and Gregori can't resist it so he agrees. We will play it tomorrow. Gregori now leads me to main table, to his father, I bow and adress him as 'King' and at which he just nods. I am afraid he doesn't like me very much.

"Uncle stop staring at my mate." Gregori snaps. So the last figure is his uncle. Well I don't like him one bit.

"She just looks so delicious. Maybe you could share?" I frown at that.

"Before I loose my control I will warn you only once. Stay away from my mate. You had yours and it was your choice to share her with your friends. I won't share mine." He then motion for us to sit and we begin our breakfast. Gregori and I eat from the same plate -something that mom told me it's custom with Vampires and mates.

I am confused tho why would Gregori's uncle want to share his mate and what happened to her or him. But I rather remain silent and eat a bit.

"You need to eat more treasure, if you don't your body will weaken with my feedings." Gregori tells me and guides food into my mouth with his hand. He is really affectionate even with his family here and I slightly blush. Again the gesture seems really intimate to me.

"You already feed from her?" King now interrupts our moment. Gregori just nods and then takes a fork to eat, while he is chewing he again feeds me with his hand. "What about marking and mating? You will respect the tradition won't you?" King continues.

I can see Gregori tense and shot his father a pointed look. "Once you mate in front of others you are allowed to have private times to make children, but you need to do it firstly the traditional way. And the physicians need to check she is still pure."

Now I am mad! What are they even talking about! Mating in front of others!? That is not some sort of show for others to watch! And children? I know Gregori for a few days now! And don't let me start on physicians, I know I am pure!

Gregori stands up and grabs my hand, leading me out of dining room. He better explain everything!
