《INVITE ME ROUND》Chapter 22

"And then she grabbed my hand and dragged me into the water, she couldn't even come up because she was so drunk, so she just splashed her hands almost drowning and I ended up having to jump to get her out of there. That's so stupid, isn't it? It was fucking cold..." Lilith spoke so slurred that you weren't sure if you heard everything but she looked so happy telling all those things that you could only walk beside her and smile.
Everything she said was fascinating because she said it with such a tension. She was so exciting and thrilling. You've never met a woman like her.
At the same time it was a pleasant feeling to have your arm around her thin waist so that you can support Lilith to some extent.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" She gazed at you.
"Yeah," You said something dreamily so as not to make her feel like you weren't listening at this moment. It was true that Lilith had the most beautiful and calmest voice. But you were so distracted with admiring her that you could hardly listen.
She gave you a confused look and then looked ahead again.
Inwardly you hoped that she would find her way home.
"Hey, um...do me a favor and don't go to this party anymore. It's stupid," she tried to say.
"Are you saying that because you're an adult, or because you mean it?" You rested your head on her shoulder.
"I'm telling you this for both reasons." She didn't seem to mind you touching her. Shifting your gaze to the side, you pulled her closer as her right side collided with your left.
That didn't seem to bother her either.
"Here we are. Do you remember?", she almost hit the door when you let her go.
"How could I forget that? After all, you sent me home in the middle of the night."
You waited for her to let you go. When you noticed two black cars on her property, you wondered why this woman was walking at all.

And why she went to such stupid parties.
"Come in," when you turned back to Lilith, she was leaning against the door, looking at you.
Just you, standing outside her door, inwardly wishing to be invited in.
"Oh Lilith...I think I have to go." Before you knew it, your hand was back on your hair, your fingers nervously playing with the strands of it.
"I don't think so," she leaned forward and grabbed your arm.
You flinched as you noticed a ring on her finger.
Fuck, how come you didn't notice that ring before. That would mean she was engaged. Or married. Or worse -
She had someone she loved.
And you kissed her.
"Lilith!", you stared at her hand with wide eyes.
"What?" couldn't she finally stop smiling so gorgeous?
Your gaze wandered from the ring back to her.
"You're married?" You took a step back.
Lilith lowered her gaze to her hand.
It could have been a normal ring she was wearing, but that couldn't be a coincidence. You had met Rina before, but you felt that Lilith lived apart from Rina's father.
She just rolled her eyes and took off her ring.
"This is not-"
"We kissed." You put your hand over your mouth, startled.
As you were talking things over, everything suddenly became even more real.
"Thousands of people were-" you almost stuttered.
"Can you please just come in?
My husband and I, we... It's-
Just come in, okay?" she blinked like a goddess. Like an angel on earth.
"Are you alone?" You tried to look inside the house.
Lilith just nodded and pulled you inside before you could do anything.
***
"Okay I think I really have to go now. Otherwise-"
"Honey, stop acting like I just kidnapped you." Lilith dug a smartphone out of a drawer.
"Let's take a picture together." She touched the bed she was sitting on, indicating that you should sit next to her.
You felt joy.
Lilith was such a perfectly successful woman and you had no idea what someone like her wanted from someone like you.

Although you're hard to catch.
But you were also afraid because of Rina.
Or because of Mr. Ritter.
There were still many things that remained inexplicable.
You smiled into the camera with her, lifting the corners of your mouth rather uncertainly and shyly while Lilith- you had no idea.
"I'm undressing, don't turn around," she said softly. Suddenly you felt an urge to look at her and at the same time you were frozen.
"Hey, maybe you can help me with the zipper...", she then asked carefully. Lilith had done well for someone who was drunk.
"Y/n?" right, the question went to you. You turned to the woman, seeing her sitting at the other end of the bed.
You carefully approached her.
Noticing you, she stood up and smiled modestly before turning her back to you. You didn't even realize you were holding your breath.
Looking down at your hands, you noticed that they were shaking.
"Lilith..." your fingertips wandered to the thin, small zipper.
She seemed relaxed while you were anything but relaxed. You tried to pull yourself together, but your hands wouldn't stop shaking.
Should you pull the zipper down halfway? Or open it completely?
Or just a little?
You slowly zipped it down getting a clear view of her bare back. You would have loved to stroke it because you imagined her skin would be soft. And cold.
"It's going too fast," you whispered just as the zipper was already undone.
"Y/n honey, I don't know what-"
"No. Lilith. Honestly. I can't do...this." You noticed how you faltered when you spoke and you became more anxious.
She took a deep breath, which sounded more annoyed than worried, and little by little you started to wonder more and more what you're doing here.
"Listen, I want to get this over with quickly-"
"What?" you interrupted her directly.
"Uh, well I mean-"
"It's getting late, I want you to go to bed. Here," she pointed to the large bed, which wasn't really visible because of the dark, but it seemed like the color of the sheets and the colour of the duvet covers was...
dark red?
"What an unusual color for a pillowcase..." you stopped, just wanting to start a conversation.
"I think it looks great. You don't like it?", she asked.
"I mean it's not bad... But I think it looks a bit brutal.", you answered honestly.
"Is that so? Which color would you prefer?", she whispered from somewhere behind you.
"A lighter one", you turned around, your eyes looking for her.
As your eyes met you smiled.
"Why do you want me to sleep here?" slowly you relaxed and allowed yourself to sit on the edge of the bed, realizing that you had never sat on such a comfortable bed before.
"Everything in this house seems so-"
"I don't want Rina to find Sleeping Beauty lying on the sofa when she comes home tomorrow, that's all," she replied, and you noticed that you could see a part of her naked back.
"Lie down," she told you.
Your fingertips tingled as you made your way to lie down.
How did she make you obey her immediately?
You made yourself comfortable under the soft covers, which you clung to and practically hid under when you saw Lilith throw off her dress not even paying attention to you.
Apparently she didn't care that you were in the same room.
But you didn't allow yourself to look, for whatever inexplicable reason.
Lilith seemed to be feeling a little better, which calmed you down.
If it was true that Rina would come home tomorrow morning then you would actually have a problem.
Just as you managed to open your mouth to ask Lilith, you felt something next to you.
You opened your eyes and couldn't believe what you saw.
She was lying next to you.
