It was already late when you opened the door of your dorm.

Since you were used to not seeing Harmony in this room anymore, because she still kept her distance from you, you threw your clothes on the bed and took a quick shower.

In the darkness, as the raindrops tapped gently on the windowpane, you found your way to the light switch, but the light button didn't work.

"Not again..." You tried to find your way to your closet and reached for the small flashlight that was on a shelf ready for use in case the power went out in the room again.

Before you opened the closet, holding the flashlight between your teeth, you threw the towel on the floor.

You reached for your new pajamas that Scarlett gave you back when you passed your driver's license.

A very imaginative gift.

But who wouldn't want to own a pair of Emporio Armani pajamas?

"Don't be afraid!", you shrieked loudly when you almost felt someone on your ear.

With the flashlight between your teeth, you turned in all directions until you beamed Harmony, your almost missing roommate, directly in the face.

"Ouch...can't you be a bit more careful?"

You don't move and give her an angry look.

"Where the hell have you been?" You came closer, feeling her eyes on your body.

Cold sweat ran down your back as you realized you weren't wearing anything.

"Oh my goodness! Close your eyes immediately." Before she could close her eyes, you turned off the flashlight.

Which was a stupid mistake, because you didn't see anything yourself but the eternal darkness.

"No matter what I tell you now, don't ask any questions. You've never seen me here, alright?" Your hands started to tremble slightly when you heard Harmony's voice again.

"What do you mean...", and then a cold finger rested on your lips.

"I'm sorry I've been hiding for so long, okay? It took me a little time to think about something. I don't want you to talk to anyone about this, nor ask any questions yourself. Do you understand that?"

"I don't understand... what shouldn't I talk to anyone about? And why-"

"Do you understand?"

After a moment's hesitation, you quietly replied, "Yes."

"God I must be really stupid for trusting you.", she breathed out.

"Listen, leave the flashlight off. I'm going to put a letter on your bed now. When you hear the door slam, you can turn the light back on, okay?"

"Harmony, why all this fuss?"

The silence in the room was just as uncomfortable as the situation you were in.

"Okay I'm done. I'll see you sometime, Y/n."

"What do you mean by sometime?" At that moment the light went on as if by magic and shortly afterwards the door slammed shut.

Confused, you headed to the door to look out, but there was no sign of Harmony.

Instead, upon re-entering the bedroom, you noticed that there was a gold envelope on your bed.

You walked closer and took it in your hands. Your name was engraved on it.

In a hurry and completely curious, you opened the envelope and carefully took out the letter.

"Invitation", you read.
