Izzy's PoV:

So it's finally the day of Stampy and Sqaishey's party and I'm so excited for it. I woke up really early, which is unusual for me, and ran into Squid and Nicole's room to get them up. They told me to go back to bed so instead I went into Tom's room and dragged him up.

"Let me get changed first and then I'll come downstairs! Go get yourself some breakfast!" He said laughing.

"Fine." I said and sprinted out of the room and down the stairs into the kitchen where I got myself a bowl of cereal.

I sat down with my cornflakes and got my phone out to text Flo.

I: So r u ready for the party yet?

F: Urmm... No it's 7am

I: Oh come on I'm already having breakfast.

F: I'm not even out of bed yet! Their party doesn't start till 3

I: Yeah but still, we will pick u up at 2:40 anyway.

F: okay c u there then!

I: C u

*Time Skip*

It was eventually time to go and collect Flo from the care home, so we all jumped in the car and started going to the home. It wasn't very far but it felt like hours as I was so nervous about going back to the home. Although I do go there every weekday after school to make sure Flo got back safely, I never actually went any further in than the edge of the driveway and being in the car with adults it just felt more official.

We drove up the driveway and my nerves started to go off. We all got out of the car and walked up to the door. Squid and Nicole were at the front with Tom behind. I saw Squid knock on the door, I started to hang back not wanting to go in. Tom turned around and saw me backing away. He walked up to and crouched down in front of me.

"Are you scared?" He said to me. I nodded.

"It's gonna be fine, Mitch isn't here anymore, we will probably just have a coffee and then leave." He said standing up and putting his arm around me. We walked back behind Squid, who gave me a worried look but Tom gave him a thumbs up and we carried on.

Adam, who let us in, led us to the kitchen and started making them coffee. Meanwhile I stayed close to Tom who didn't leave my side, I was thankful for that as I hated this place. I was in a family now and I didn't want to have to come back, even if it was just for a visit.

We spent a few minutes in there but then one of the girls, who was the kind of person who thought they were the best, most beautiful, cleverest and funniest person ever, came round the corner and into the room. She stood in the corner smirking at me, I remembered her, she was always with Mitch so I never really spoke to her. I just tried to forget she was there but, all the same, I stayed close to Tom.

"Why don't you go and find Flo, she's in her room. You'll find her." Adam said to me, smiling. Tom looked at me, worried but I just slowly walked out the room. I walked up the stairs and along the corridor, but then I heard a voice behind me.

"Hold up kid!" I turned around to see the girl from the kitchen coming towards me, she must've followed me upstairs.

"What do you want?" I said, trying to sound as tough as possible when really I was terrified. She continued walking towards me until she was definitely in my personal space, I wanted to back away but I had to look strong, I couldn't show her weakness. So I stayed put. When she stopped she put her hands on my shoulders and pushed me into the wall.

"I want you to pay for what you did to my beautiful Mitch!" She whispered in my ear. Before I could speak she put her hand over my mouth and punched the side of my face, right on my temple.

I fell to the floor instantly, I hadn't blacked out but I was on the verge, everything was unclear and I was very dizzy. I could hear footsteps coming quickly and through the floor it was agony. I tried to sit up and put my hands over my ears to stop the sounds but as soon as I did that, I collapsed. I felt someone catch me before I hit the floor. Just before I blacked out I managed to open my eyes enough to see Squid looking down at me. But then, black.

I woke up on a bed with Squid and Nicole in either side of it.

"How do you feel?" Squid asked. I ignored the question and asked one myself instead,

"What happened?"

Squid looked at Nicole and then back to me.

"That girl hit you and Flo heard, she screamed when she saw you. Which is what we heard. Flo attacked the girl so she couldn't hurt you anymore. When we got to you, Adam and Tom broke the girls apart and I managed to catch you before you hit the floor." He explained. I nodded remembering some of it.

"How do you feel then?" Nicole asked.

This time I didn't ignore it,

"I feel fine now, although my head still hurts a bit... What about the party?!" I suddenly remembered.

"We have told Stampy and Sqaishey and they said, if you were feeling up to it, that you could come later." Nicole said.

"Tom and Flo are already there." Squid finished.

"I want to go now." I said. Squid and Nicole didn't look sure but they agreed anyway. I got out of bed and fell into Squid's side, who luckily caught me.

"I'm okay, don't worry." I said, letting go of Squid.

The more I walked, the easier it got, until I reached the stairs. I was about to step down when Squid grabbed me from behind, pulling me back.

"Oh no your not!" He said, picking me up and taking me down the stairs.

Just as we were coming down the stairs, the girl who attacked me before was stood there.

"Can't even walk down the stairs by ourselves?" She sniggered.

"Well at least I have a family who likes me, all of yours have given you back." I stated. Her usual smirk turned into a face of anger.

"What did you say?" She said walking towards us. Squid put me down behind him and stood in between me and her. She charged, trying to get past Squid who grabbed her pulling her away from me. Nicole grabbed my arm pulling me out and back to the car.

We got in and we were shortly followed by Squid.

"Are you okay to go to the party now or not?" He asked turning round to face me.

I nodded, "I'm fine."

He turned back around and drove to Stampy's house.

We soon arrived and walked through the front door. Tom came to greet us and check if I was alright. I looked down the hall and I could see Flo, Stampy and Sqaishey all standing with each other talking and laughing. I smiled and looked at Tom who was looking at them as well. He smiled at me and I knew exactly what he was thinking.
