Virat got up at 4 in the morning. He still had pain in his side but not that much. He came out of his room and went to start working on finding out.

Later in morning around 10 am everyone was in the dining room having breakfast as today was off day. So all were relaxed.

Rahul bhai first went to check on Virat in his room. He opened it and didn't find him anywhere.

Rahul bhai- This kid, what do I do with him?

He thought not finding him anywhere.

Rohit looked at door but Virat didn't arrive. He was worried about him.

He saw Rahul bhai coming there and was engrossed in his phone. He wanted to ask him about Vi but was scared of being questioned.

He went near him hesitantly.

Ro- Rahul bhai?

Rahul bhai- Ro, when did u both come back? Was Virat okay?

U dropped him to room right?

He asked in concern confusing Rohit.

Ro- I dropped him to room! He was bit okay, was having little trouble to walk. Why ? Is everything okay?

Rahul bhai- ya all okay, I was just asking!

He said and left the room.

Rahul bhai- Virat, are you out of your mind?

Where are you?

He asked a little irritated opposite to his nature.

Vi- I just landed here.

Yesterday I tried to research a bit and I got to know may b I can get a clue here!

Rahul bhai- Are you okay?

Vi- Ya I am!

Rahul bhai- Are you sure? Means about the clue? Couldn't u manage it on phone or something!

Was it necessary to go there?

Vi- Yes bhai I want to see it myself!

I hope it's not a dead end.

I will be back by the night, only one place to check!

Rahul bhai- Take care and meet me soon as you are back!

Vi- Bye bhai, don't tell anyone about this! I know u will not!

Virat hanged up the call and got to his destination where he had to check.

In Rohit's room-

Ritika- What's wrong? Are you okay?

She asked seeing Rohit entering with a frown on his face and looked worried.

Ro- Ya all okay!

Ritika- Where is Vi? Didn't come?

She asked as Virat would always spend time with them on off day! Also as Nush and Vamu were not with him.

Sammy- Vi chachu will come tomorrow!

She said casually colouring her books making Rohit shock.

Ro- What do u mean Baba?

Sammy- U don't know, Vi chachu told me that he would be busy today so he will come tomorrow!

She informed.

Ro- When did he tell you?

Sammy- offo Dada! Yesterday he told me with so many chocolates!

She said annoyed by the questions.

Rits- What's going on Ro?

She dragged him to balcony and asked him. This was the first time he didn't know about Virat.

Rohit- Nothing!

He turned to leave.

Rits- Don't u leave Ro, sit here!

She said with authority.

Rohit sat down and was thinking where was Virat? Where did he go? Was he okay? Was he in pain?

Ritika cupped his cheeks to make him look at her.

Rits- What's wrong Ro? What's bothering you?

She asked softly.

Her soft and concerned voice was enough to make Rohit's eyes moist.

Ritika wiped the unshed tears from corner of his eyes.

Rits- Ro, I know u are hiding something! The time we went to London, u have been upset!

What do u think I haven't noticed?

Virat was asking me in the morning but I didn't tell him anything!

Tell me Ro! I am here with you!

Ro- It's nothing Ritz!

He said not wanting her to worry unnecessarily.

Ritika was gonna say something but stopped hearing Sammy's voice.

Sammy- Rishabh chachu!

She squealed and made him sit on the floor for colouring.

Ritika and Rohit came from the balcony hearing that voice. They saw Rishabh, Jassi and Harry sitting circling Sammy.

Ro- What's going on?

Rish- Nothing as Virat bhai is busy today so we thought to disturb you!

He said grinning.

Harry- Off day tha pata nahi Virat bhai ko bhi Aaj hi kaam aana tha! We would go to beach or something!

He said.

Rohit went out from his room as he was not able to think properly. He sat in the garden and took out his phone fighting the urge to call Virat.

Vi- Ya skip?

He said picking up the phone.

He hated when Virat called him skip, captain! They already had a fight about this when Virat was irritating him calling that when recently he became captain!

Ro- Where are you?

He asked a bit calmly.

Vi- And u care about this, why?

He asked mockingly.

Ro- I am asking you something, so stop with your nonsense and tell me where you are?

He asked irritated.

Vi- Why should I ? Starting to care about me again?

Or it is one time thing!

Tomorrow I will be back and u will behave differently with me, right?

Ro- What ..

Vi- See I am not there and u are worried about me suddenly when in 2-3 days u have been behaving like an absolute jerk without telling me the reason!

Vi- So I think I should stay away from your sight then, atleast u will worry about me!

He said and hanged up the phone.

Ro- Vi.. Virat!

He yelled but Virat had already hanged up the call.

Vi- Bhagwaanji, Kyu karwa rahe ho yeh sab!

Kya Gadha best friend Diya hai mujhe!

Itni mehnat!

Chalo Cheeku, lag ja kaam pe!

He walked into the place holding his side which was paining as he forgot the pain killers at the hotel.

Meanwhile Rohit was staring in his phone still thinking about Virat and the voice in his head.

Person- Sharma, time nikal na padta hai, nahi toh u will always regret!

Ro- Why are you doing this to me!

Person- I am not doing anything! I am just telling u the truth. You have to face it Sharma!

Ro- Pls don't do this!

Rohit just kept his both hands to cut out that voice from his head.

Mahi- Ro? Good morning!

Aaj kaise yaad kiya!

Mahi greeted him in his soft voice when Rohit called him as he was not able to handle it anymore alone!

Ro- Kuch nahi bhai, bas aapki yaad aa rahi thi!

Mahi- Cheeku ke hote huye, did you guys fight?

Ro- Nahi bhai, bas aise hi!

He said tiredly.

Mahi- Ro? All okay kiddo?

Ro- bhai can u come here! I really miss you!

I don't want to be alone!

Mahi- What are you saying kiddo? U are never alone?

I am always with you!

Kya baat hai? Tell me!

Ro- It's nothing! Will call you later!

Saying this he hanged up the call.

He whined as Mahi kept the phone.

Vi- What should I do then? U don't know what all he said to me which made no sense apparently but hurt me a bit!

Mahi - But Cheeku?

Vi- And you know I saw him crying 2-3 times!

U know I hate when he cries!

I can't handle it.

Mahi- U are crazy u know that!

Vi- What to do your Ro is not telling me anything!

Mahi- My Ro or ur bestie?

He asked.

Vi- But bhai u can tell Na that something is wrong with him!

U listened how devastated he sounded.

Mahi- Ofcourse something is wrong!

When is ur guy coming to give the info?

He asked taking a sip of coffee tensed himself about his kiddo.

He got shocked at first when Virat called, first he thought it was a prank! but seeing Virat in the cafe waiting for him he understood that it is something serious.

Vi- 5 mins more I guess!

He said feeling pain in his side but didn't show on his face wanting to get more scolded. Already he got it from Rahul bhai and bit from Mahi bhai.

Soon that guy came and sat with both of them.

Vi- Aditya did u find anything?

Aditya- Nahi yaar Vi, nothing! I tried to contact the company they have been shooting with that day but they didn't know anything if Rohit went anywhere!

Vi- Kisi kaam ka nahi hai tu, mai itna travel karke aya hu!

And u are saying u didn't find anything, unbelievable!

He said being irritated!

Mahi just chuckled at his childishness while Aditya shook his head at his friend.

Aditya- Maine bola tha kya idhar aa! I told u that I will inform you on phone!

But tujhe hi paiso mai aag lagani hai!

Vi- Shut up!

After sometime trying to get some more info Aditya discussed with Virat and left.

Mahi- Cheeks what now?

Vi- Meko kya pata bhai?

Aap batao kya karu ab! Help karo meri!

Mahi- Why don't u ask Ritika?

I asked her yesterday and she told it's nothing!

Apparently Ro behaved completely normal with Nush and Vamu so she is like 'Bubz u don't have any work apart from overthinking! I have to manage so much here!'

Mahi chuckled on how he was imitating Nush's actions!

Mahi- Okay calm down! We will think something!

He said seeing him getting all worked up.

Mahi- Chal we have one more to place to check before u take ur flight!

He said getting up.

Vi- Abhi if I got up and walked toh Bhai is gonna scold me so much!

And it's paining so much! Pakka swelling hui hai!

Bhagwaanji mai hi mila kya aapko!

He thought to himself.

Mahi- Cheeks what are u thinking?

Virat got up from the chair with support of the table. Mahi didn't notice at first.

Mahi was walking at normal pace and noticed Virat was not keeping up with him. He turned and saw him holding his side and walking unusually slow.

Mahi- What's wrong with you?

Vi- nothing!

Mahi- Cheeku!

He said sternly.

Vi- Pehle aap promise karo aap daantoge nahi! Already Rahul bhai has scolded me!

He said like a child.

Mahi- U know that you are 33 years old right?

He said when he saw his puppy face and eyes which still didn't change as it was in 2008 when he joined the team.

Vi- So? How does that matter?

He said not knowing why he was saying that!

Mahi- Anyway, tell me what's wrong?

Vi- U didn't promise?

He complained.

Before Mahi could say anything, Virat lost his balance and stumbled. Mahi held him and made him sit on the chair.

Mahi- Cheeku, what's wrong kiddo?

Vi- I have pain in my side!

He said holding his side and breathing a bit heavy.

Virat took his shirt up a bit and showed him the swelling. It was not much but not taking pain killers made it worse for Virat.

Mahi saw that and helped him to get to cab. Virat kept his head on his shoulder sensing the silent treatment.

Vi- Bhai hospital? Itna kuch nahi hua hai!

He said getting down the cab.

Mahi- Virat!

Vi- Sab meko daant te hai! Wo Ro baat nahi kar raha hai, aur yaha bhai!

They went to doctor and he gave the pain killers.

Doctor- Can I take selfie with you? I have got with Rohit sir! Can I take it with you both?

Vi- Rohit sir? U mean Rohit Sharma?

Doctor- Yes i am big fan of all you three! Last time when Rohit sir came here at that time he gave me his autograph and selfie.

They gave him selfie and autographs.

Mahi- Can you tell me when did Rohit come and why ?

Doctor- 15 days back he came!

Vi- Why did he come?

Doctor- That I can't disclose! I am sorry!

He said.

Vi- Please it's really important!

Doctor- I am really sorry sir I cant!

He said and went from there.

He whined sadly.

Mahi- We will do something don't worry!

He said himself thinking why would Rohit come here.

Vi- Bhai, airport drop karne aao na! 1 hour mai flight hai!

He said like a child.

Mahi- Pehle u take the pain killers!

Vi- Bhai, hotel pahoch ke lunga! U know how this pain killers make me sleepy!

Pata lage Dubai ke jagah Kisi Island pe chala jau!

Mahi- Tu bilkul Pagal hai!

U have to take this without fail! Other wise I am not gonna help u in this "What's wrong with my bestie" mission!

Vi- I will! Ab chalo mai late ho jaunga.

They sat in cab as it was a long distance Virat just cuddled to Mahi and closed his eyes.

Mahi- jyada apne brain ko tension mat de, we will find out!

He said caressing his hair.

Vi- ya, u know the time I have met him he is behaving like an idiot with me! Formal stupid behaviour. But his words and eyes don't match.

Mahi- What do u mean?

Vi- It's like Rohit is telling me Leave Virat and his eyes are screaming to stay!

It is just so much pain in them! But I am not able to understand what?

Once he literally cried in his sleep!

Mahi- Ohh! What's troubling him?

Vi- Bhai why don't u come with me?

Mahi- I can't Cheeku! I have commitments but I will come soon ! Just I will wrap up and come to u guys!

And also I will try to find out what Ro was doing in the hospital.

Vi- I will miss you bhai!

Mahi- Will miss you too! And take care of Ro! Gussa mat kar na uspe!

He said making him understand.

Virat hugged him tightly and boarded his flight. Mahi sighed seeing him going. His kids had him worried now!
