Season 3 episode 11

Elena is hugging Jeremy.

"Your gonna have to let me go eventually." Jeremy says

"Be safe, ok?" Elena tells him.

"Yeah, ok, all right. Alaric's waiting." He turns and leaves out the front door. Bonnie comes running up the steps.

"Good you haven't left yet."

Jeremy smiles. "Hey, what are you doing here?"

Bonnie looks at Elena. "I came to say goodbye."

They hug each other. They pull apart and Jeremy walk out the house. He looks back at Bonnie and Elena.

Natalie walks up the stairs. "You weren't even going to tell me goodbye."

Jeremy looks at Natalie with shock all over his face. He has a few tears come out his eyes and he goes up and hug her.

"I didn't even know you knew. With what's been going on."

She hugs him a little tighter. "I kinda found out last minute. I'm going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you to Nat." They pull apart and he puts his stuff in the trunk. He gets into the passenger and Alaric pulls off.

The ties that bind

Season 3 episode 12

Natalie wakes up to her phone ringing. She groans and turns over, grabbing her phone she sees its Bonnie. "Yes dear cousin?"

"I need you to come with me and Elena." Bonnie tells her

"For what?" She asks

"I found my mother."

"You know I'm on my way." She hangs up and lays back down. She sighs and turns to see Klaus looking at her.

"Something happened?" He asks

She sighs. "Yea Bonnie just found my aunt, her mom. I'm going to go with her to see her."

"Okay, love I'll see you later."

She kisses him. Klaus picks her up and puts her on his lap. She moans as Klaus squeezes her hip. She taps his chest and pulls away from the kiss.

"Uh-uh I have to go."

He groans as she gets off his lap. She makes her way into the bathroom. She turns on the shower and takes her clothes off. She gets in and sighs as the water touches her skin.

She takes a quick shower knowing Bonnie needs her there quickly. When she's finished she turns the water off and steps out.

She gets the towel and quickly dry off. She puts her clothes on. She brushes through her hair not really wanting to do anything to it.

She brushes her teeth and washes her face and leaves the bathroom when done. She comes out to find Klaus gone.

She goes to the closet and pick up a pair of vans. She slips them on and grabs a jacket. She leaves the room and walks downstairs.

"Good morning bekah."

"Morning Natalie. Why are you in a rush?" Rebekah asks confused

"Bonnie needs me."

She see Klaus had made pancakes so she grabs three and kisses his cheek. She quickly hugs Rebekah and grabs her keys and leave the house.

Natalie enters the Gilbert house and closes the door behind her. She walks where Bonnie and Elena are and makes her entrance

"The queen has arrived."

Bonnie smiles at her cousin as she comes and hugs her. Natalie didn't acknowledge Elena.

A second later the door opens and Damon voice is heard. "Sooner. Abby Bennett Wilson, Monroe, North Carolina. Born in mystic falls hospital, graduated mystic falls high, blah blah blah."

He hands Bonnie the file. "A little compulsion helps to speed up the research process."

Bonnie and Natalie looks at the paper.

Bonnie looks up. "This is her."

"Yep, road trip. I call shot gun." Damon says

Natalie laughs at Damon. "Yeah. You're not going."

"Why? Want me to hang out in the back with you?"

She laughs again. "First, if you were to come I'll be sitting in the front seat. Second you're still not coming."

"Why? I'm the one who found her." Damon says

Elena looks at him. "Ok, Damon look Bonnie hasn't seen her mom in over 15 years. We don't need your snarky commentary narrating the experience."

Elena goes to walk away when Damon blocks her. They continue to stare at each other.

"What's going on with you two?" Bonnie asks

Natalie nudges Bonnie. "They totally kissed and now it's weird."

Damon rolls his eyes. "Have a great trip."

He walks to the door and leaves.

Bonnie Natalie and Elena are in the car on there way to see Abby.

"I just can't believe I'm actually going to see her. Or meet her. Sort of. Since I don't really remember her." Bonnie rambles.

Elena pipes up from the back seat. "You don't really talk about her."

"What's to say. She left, never wrote, never called. Not even when our grams died." Bonnie says looking between Elena and the road.

There's a silence before Natalie speaks up. "So Elena. Can we talk about you and Damon instead?"

"I'm not talking about that. Why can't we talk about you and Klaus."

Bonnie shakes her head. "No. Uh-uh you don't get to change the subject."

"He kisses me. It's not going to happen again." Elena says

"I mean... was it good?" Bonnie asks

"It doesn't matter." Elena answers

"That means it was."

Someone phones rings. Bonnie looks at her phone and picks it up. She looks at the name. "It's Stefan. I told him I'd call him as soon as I got the address."

"Ignore." Elena looks at Bonnie. "Bonnie, you're about to see your mom for the first time in 15 years. I'm not letting anyone ruin that moment."

"Yea but he's going to keep at it until I pick up." Bonnie says

Natalie pulls out the file. "Yea he is because I took the file so he wouldn't follow us."

"Fine." Elena grabs the phone and answers. "What?"

"Where are you?" Stefan asks

Natalie makes hands movements telling her to not tell Stefan she's here.

Elena nods and answers Stefan. "Bonnie and I are going to spend the night at the lake house. While we wait for sheriff Forbes to give us some more addresses."

"You're kidding me, right?" He asks not believing.

"No, Stefan I'm not. We need an night off from your insanity." Elena answers

"Klaus is getting antsy. He knows I'm stalling him. We need to move faster." Stefan explains

"Well we're doing everything we can so could you maybe not call every 5 minutes?"

"Sure Elena. Whatever you say." Stefan says

She hangs up the phone.

"You guys better be lucky I took this file or he would definitely be on his way."

Bonnie pulls up to her moms house.

"Cute house." Elena says

"For the middle of nowhere." Bonnie comments

Natalie looks at Bonnie. "Alright let's go."

They get out car and walk up the steps to the door. Elena rings the door bell. Nobody answer. Elena goes to knock when a someone speaks.

"Hey there." A boy walks up to them.

"Hey we're looking for um Abby Wilson." Elena tells the boy

"She's not home. Is there anything I can do for you?" He asks

Bonnie shakes her head and tried to leave. "That's ok, we can come back."

Elena grabs her arm. Natalie gives her a look.

He points at Bonnie. "I'm sorry, but you look so familiar."

"Yeah, Abby's my mom." Bonnie tells him

"Oh." There's a silence and then the boy introduces his self. "I'm Jamie. Um, you guys want to come inside?" he opens the door. "Right this way."

They look at each other before walking in. They walk and sit down. Jamie goes into the fridge.

"You guys sure you doing want anything? We got fresh O.J., coconut water, some mango guava something."

He looks up at them. Bonnie speaks up. "Waters fine."

"Cool." He grabs a cup and fixes her water.

"So, Ahem, are we like related?" Bonnie finally asks

"Oh, nah. Uh, Abby's not my mom."

"Oh."

He hands Bonnie and Elena their water.

"Good." Elena says as she goes and take a sip.

"Yeah. She uh she dated my old man back in the day. He was kind of a deadbeat, so when they broke up she took me in. Put me through school. Didn't freak out when I totaled her car. Twice." He chuckles.

Natalie scoffed and muttered under her breath. "Couldn't do the same for her own child."

Bonnie pinches her thigh. She chuckles. "He sounds... great."

"Yeah."

A door opens and a voice is heard. "Jamie? Whose car out front?"

She leans back and sees 3 girls sitting at her table.

"That's mine." Bonnie stands up. "I'm Bonnie. Your daughter."

Abby exhales. "Hello Bonnie." She turns to Natalie. "Natalie?"

Natalie waves.

Bonnie is looking at a picture of Jamie in his graduation cap and gown.

Elena looks at Bonnie. "How are you holding up?"

She puts the frame back. "Oh I'll be fine. I'm not here to get my moms back, I'm just here to get her help."

"You know you guys never told me why I'm here anyways. Well besides Bonnie needing me to face her mom."

She thought for a reason as she looked at Elena and Bonnie face. "You guys are totally hiding Klaus family somewhere and you need the Bennett witches to open the locked casket."

"How do you know that?!" Bonnie asks

"Bonnie I'm a Bennett witch myself of course I know. But I'm not helping you open it and you shouldn't either." She says sternly

Elena stepped towards Natalie. "She has to. It's time for Klaus to be gone."

Natalie rolled her eyes. "Your opinion is irrelevant so please be quiet."

"Natalie we both know I have to do this. The plan has to go on."

"Right the "plan" I totally forgot the plan of hitting rid of my soulmate."

Bonnie face showed angered. "I need to speak with you in private. Elena can you kindly leave while I speak with my cousin."

Elena nodded and left the room. Natalie spelled it for precaution.

Bonnie turned back to Natalie. "You seriously forgot about the plan we made with Caroline, Jenna, and Klaus."

"Okay you can't be mad at me for that. I have a forgetful mind sometimes and you know this!" She exclaimed.

"Well remember it because if Elena even gets suspicious then we're all fucked. She cannot know that I'm helping Klaus. She'll go back and tell Damon and a murderous Stefan." Bonnie says angrily

"Okay. Calm down she's not gonna find out. Now we need to end this before she really starts to get suspicious."

Bonnie nods. Natalie un-spelled the room. Abby and Elena walk in.

"So I hope you guys are hungry." She places plates on the table. "Cause uh, food has always been my go to icebreaker."

"You have really beautiful home." Elena says as she sits down.

"You're so sweet. Just like your mom." Abby says

Elena looks confused. "You knew my mom?"

"Miranda was my best friend."

"So you had a daughter and a best friend and you still left?" Bonnie says

"My best friend is why I left. 15 years ago, a vampire came to town. Looking for you Elena. Looking for the doppelgänger. No one could manage to kill him, so I lured him out of town and cast a spell to desiccate him in a crypt in Charlotte."

"Mikael. He was an original vampire." Elena realized.

"It took every ounce of power I had. Almost killed me. I recovered. But my magic didn't. My powers never came back." Abby says

"And neither did you." Bonnie says while looking at Abby

"It wasn't that simple."

"It wasn't? You cast a spell, put Mikael down, then... what? You had to teach Jamie how to drive?"

Elena looks at her. "Bonnie..."

"This was a mistake. She has no magic, she can't help us." Bonnie turns and leaves but Abby runs after her.

"Bonnie, wait, please. Don't go. Talk to me. Please?"

"I'll wait outside." Elena goes to leave.

Natalie stands there. Elena looks back at her.

"What she's my aunt."

Elena and Bonnie gives her a look. Two different ones.

"Fine I'll wait outside as well." She walks out after Elena. They both walk to the barn. When they both turn around when they hear something. They turn back to see Stefan.

"Hi Elena. Nice lake house." He looks over at Natalie. "Failed to mention that Natalie was here."

"Well it was none of your business Steffy so get over it."

Stefan walks closer."So what, you'd think I wouldn't find out?"

Elena crosses her arms over her chest. "Honestly, I don't care."

"This is exactly why I didn't want you in the loop, Elena." He tells her

"First off how did you find us? I took the file so you wouldn't find us." Natalie ask

"Well you forgot that I could just ask Damon. You know the brother who helped you find Abby."

Natalie shrugged."Didn't think you would be smart enough to ask him. You know with the dumb decision you've been making lately."

Stefan goes to speed to her but she inflicts pain on him. He falls to the ground holding his hand in pain. He knocks over something.

Jamie comes out. "Hey! Everything all right out here?"

Natalie stops the spell. Stefan slowly rises.

Elena turns to Jamie."Hey. Jamie, go back inside, ok? Please trust me. It's better off for you there."

Jamie refuses. "I don't think so."

"I'd listen to her. Get back upstairs, man."

Jamie walks up to Stefan. "I said I don't think so."

Stefan grabs Jamie neck and compels him. "Get back upstairs before I tear your damn throat out, do you understand me."

Stefan shoves Jamie away from him. He turns around and leave.

"I don't think you realize how bad you've gotten!" Elena yells.

Natalie walks slowly towards Stefan. "Oh no he realizes. He just doesn't want to get better because once he feels all that guilt and regret will come rushing in. Stefan doesn't want that doesn't he." She puts a fake pouty face on while looking at him.

"You know Natalie I really wished Mikael killed you when you had the chance. You're kinda annoying."

Natalie mocks him. "Your kinda annoying. Stefan don't act like your not. Your just mad that Elena up here sucking faces with your brother."

Stefan looks at Elena with hurt but changes to anger looking back at Natalie. Elena shoots her a confused and angry look.

"Oh you didn't know that. Oops sorry. I know you guys are like cursed together or something but maybe moving on will be better. And don't look at me like that Elena. Katherine told me about your little goodbye kiss. I just found out about the second one this morning."

Stefan tries to speed to Natalie missing what she said, when they hear a gun cocking. She and Elena turn around to see Jamie with a gun.

He points it a Stefan. "You're not supposed to be here."

"Jamie what are you doing?" Elena asks

"What I was told. He's not supposed to be here." Jamie says still pointing the gun at him.

"Elena, Natalie he's compelled."

Jamie shoots Stefan which cause him to fall back. Both Natalie and Elena gasps.

Natalie turns her head as she hears a bang.

"Somethings wrong." She tries to go to the house when she's shot in the back.

Natalie and Stefan are on the ground in pain while Jamie is tying Elena up.

"Why are you doing this?" Elena asks

"Stop moving."

Stefan groans as he turns over. He looks to his side to see Natalie on the ground bleeding. She was barely healing.

"Jamie, let me go. Jamie they need my help."

Abby yells. "Jamie!"

Elena sees Abby dragging Bonnie. "Bonnie!"

Jamie runs off to help Abby out Bonnie in the car.

Natalie continues to groan. She tried to get the bullet out her back but she couldn't get it.

"I've almost got it." Elena says trying to break out the ropes.

Jamie comes back. "Abby hasn't called yet."

"Jamie please just let us go."

"No! Please. Don't do anything. Look I don't know why I shot him. I don't know why I'm holding this gun, but if you move or do anything, imma shoot him again." He points the gun at Stefan.

"Ok, I won't."

"Why did you shoot me you asshole!" Natalie says mad

"I couldn't let you get away ok. If something went wrong I was told to kill myself."

"Who gave you that gun?" Elena asks

"A man came by here earlier today. He said it was wooden buckshot. Told me if anyone got in our way, I'm supposed to shoot em." He explained

"What else did he say?"

"If Abby didn't find the locations of some coffins.. I'm supposed to shoot my self as well." He tells her

"What about me?" Elena asks

"I'm not supposed to hurt you."

"Are you sure because... these ropes are so tight that it is hurting me."

He goes to check when Elena break free from the ropes. She grabs the gun and knocks Jamie out with it.

She goes over to Natalie and Stefan. "What can I do to help?"

Every time I move the wood shifts inside of me. I can feel it scraping against my heart. You need to get the pieces out." He groans in frustration. "Help Natalie first."

Elena quickly nods and goes over to her. She sticks her fingers in the hole and searches for the bullet. Natalie screams in pain.

"I'm sorry!"

"Just hurry up! This does not feel like rainbows and sunshine."

Elena finds the bullet and pulls it out. Natalie sighs as she can finally relax as the wound heals.

Natalie does a quick spell getting all the pieces of wood out of Stefan chest as he starts to desiccate. Stefan relaxes as the grey veins go away.

Natalie sighs"God I'm so ready to go to sleep."

Natalie was waiting by the car for Elena to be done talking with Stefan.

After while Elena was making her way to the car. Natalie unlocked it and they both got in. She started the car and made their way to Bonnie.

They pull up to see Bonnie on the side of the road with her mom. She stops and Bonnie gets in the back. Natalie looks at Abby and nod. She drives off ready to get some sleep and to see her soulmate.

She hasn't seen him since she left and she was just ready to cuddle up to him and just talk. She misses his voice since she didn't talk to him all day.

They were both busy with their things and making sure the plan they made went right.

She dropped Elena off and switch seat with Bonnie. She now sat in the passenger while Bonnie in the driver seat.

Natalie checked her phone to see multiple text from Klaus. One caught her attention saying he got his family back but didn't have the fourth one.

Bonnie looked at her. "Did he get the coffins?"

"Yea but not the one with his mother in it."

"I know. We had to make it look like I'm still on there side." Bonnie tells her

Natalie nods. "I know."

"Klaus?"

Natalie nods again.
