What is wrong with you are you confused? We've been lost as a nation and half of our world act like they need medication. Our president is black, but it is as if you have misread that fact. We should be together, but instead we have young brothers and sisters dying in a plethora. Men used to be proud to protect there families, but majority of the men have disappeared. Women used to be proud to protect their children, but it is as if most of them are in the system. What happened to the proud citizens during the Harlem Renaissance or during Negritude. Could it be the generation. Boys walk around with their pants hanging down girls walk around with dresses so short they shouldn't bend over. What is wrong with us. We are not proud why are we not proud. Our skin is the peak of beauty, but we act like it is the abyss. What happened to us what happened! Someone tell me what happened?! Where did we lose the knowledge, the wisdom, and the experience? Our ancestors created more things than Europeans can even contemplate. We try so hard as a people to show that we are so different and that we are not under the white man's law. At the end of the day we make ourselves look foolish. When we watch the videos we are supporting the ignorance of society. People saying B this or N that when did it become okay to knock your people. When did it become okay for men to disrespect a black woman's being. When did it become okay for women to be objectified as a present. "All I want for my birthday is a big booty girl" our ancestors fought to many years to ensure that we are not treated anything less than a human by europeans, but ironically we treat ourselves like everything less than a human. What is wrong with us? Where did we go wrong? What's wrong?
