Evening fell as taehyung was back from work. Taemin was back from his school too. Taemin stayed at the floor with all his books over the table studying. Taehyung sat right behind him on the sofa observing him and his works. Taehyung took the diary of taemin which was placed on the table. Taemin slowly raised his head and looked towards him but lowered his head studying back again as he saw taehyung observe each and every page carefully to see if there were complaints or not regarding taemin.
" Maths test to be taken tomorrow at 1st period. Be prepared. Full marks 25...pass marks 10"
Taehyung looked at it and at Taemin who was working on another subject's assignment.
Taehyung: You have a test tomorrow and you're studying something else.
He lightly shouted making taemin flinch and look at him.Taemin gulped and looked at taehyung.
Taehyung: Are you that genius that you don't need to learn anything huh?
He screamed as taemin flinched.
Holding the math book from the table, he opened the chapters which were assigned to learn for the test.
Taemin: daddy...I need to complete this otherwise the teacher will punish me.
He said innocently looking at taehyung after standing in front of him.
Taehyung held his hands and brought them near him. Crossing his legs with back resting on the sofa he looked at the book and at taemin.
Taehyung: what is 100+60+3
He asked, ignoring the words that Taemin said.
Taehyung: ANSWER ME.
He screamed. Y/n who had a hard scream walked towards the living room as she saw taemin breathing quickly calculating. Taehyung's eyes caught her as he raised his hands up for her to move forwards.
Taemin: 163
He said and looked at taehyung. Nodding taehyung looked at the book again and at taemin.

Taehyung: what is 2 x 8
Taemin: 16
Taehyung: what is 15+3
Taemin: 18....no no its 19
He said and looked at Taehyung who already had a smirk on his face. Taehyung kept the textbook on the sofa. He held taemin's hand and pulled him. Without any mercy he tightly slapped him.
Y/n: tae-
Taheyung: SHUT THE FUCK UP.
He screamed as Taehyung looked at the child who had started crying loudly.
Taehyung: when did 15+3 become 19 huh?
He said and jerked taemin's body. Raising his hand back again he tightly slapped him as Y/n quickly ran towards them pulling taemin inside her arms.
Taehyung, who was already angry, pushed y/n and held taemin.
Taemin: its 18 daddy...i'm sorry
He said crying but the man who was pulling the child did not stop.
Walking towards the downstairs he entered the room and pushed taemin on the floor. He tapped his feet and looked for his prey to run and come downstairs as she did. Fear held her too but she needed her child safe. After she entered the room, Taehyung pulled her body and locked the door behind.
Taheyung: Both son and mom need a good lesson to be taught.
He said.

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. When the boy is accepted into Arcana Academy, his talent in the pillars of mana foundation awes everyone. All the bigger is the eventual disappointment when Terry turns out to be an utter failure at spellwork. Diagnosis? Major aspect impairment. No cure. Ever. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Waking up in a strange place can be rough. Waking up in a strange body is even rougher. Finding out you're a basic bottom of the barrel monkey in a world full of monsters, adventurers and other things that would very much like to eat you, is just about as bad as it gets. In fact, I struggle to think of much that would be worse. On the bright side, at least you have an option to get stronger and prevent yourself from being eaten. Join this poor little monkey on her quest to possibly not die in a world that seems to very much want to make her new life much shorter.

You know, like the ones that come when you sacrifice a chicken or something on top of a magic circle. It's a bit weird, especially since I'm human, but I've just decided to go with the flow for now. Which apparently means becoming the employee of an item shop. (What's that? You want to know what cheat powers I've been given?
