"Babe, come on!"

"I'm coming! Just give me a sec." I shout out to Elijah who is standing by the car with Joe.

We have been travelling around the packs and spending some time with them as much as we can, before moving on to another. It's been a month and a week, and now we are leaving Keziah and Joe's pack, which is our fourth pack to visit. We are now going to Elijah's cousin, Michael's pack.

"So tell me what is wrong?" I ask my sister in law, Keziah, who has been keeping to herself these last two days. I knew something was wrong and I'm hoping she tells me this time because I've been asking a lot.

"I'm pregnant." She says slowly and I barely hear her.

"That's great! I'm happy for you." I bring her in my arms giving her a hug.

"It's not great."

"What do you mean by that?" I inquire trying to understand what's wrong with being pregnant.

"We planned not to have a baby at the moment. I'm afraid he will not be happy with this news." She explains with a tear escaping her right eye.

"Don't worry about him not wanting the child. That guy loves you so much and I know he will love the child as well. Besides, it's not only your fault because it takes two to create a baby."

"Are you sure he won't be mad?" She questions me while sneaking a peek at his mate over my shoulder.

"I'm sure, 100%." I say smiling at her. "Want to know why?" She nods eagerly and I turn around to face the guys.

"Hey Joe! Kez here is crying!" I call out to Joe and he immediately run in our direction.

"What's wrong, sweetie? Are you hurt? Did someone hurt you?" He asks while checking her for any injuries, turning her around and touching her here and there. I smile watching him worrying about his mate. I'm glad to say that me and Elijah now have a strong relationship and I can feel the L word coming out of my mouth anytime soon, it's just a matter of time. He's already said it to me but I'm yet to declare just how much I feel ​about him.

"I'm fine, Joe." Keziah smiles and wraps herself in the arms of her mate. Having already said my farewell, I slowly walk away from the couple and approach my mate.

"About time you decide to leave this place. Michael is waiting for us." Eli says after giving me a brief kiss on the lips.

"You and Michael act like children. Let's get going." We get in the back seat and he pulls me on his lap and brings his mouth down on me, kissing me like we just met after a long time being apart.

"Cut it out guys. You are not alone you know." Cad drawls out while Xavier starts the car. I get off my mate's lap and sit beside him feeling lightheaded. I swear he keeps on giving me this mind blowing kisses anytime he can. I look out the window and wave at the couple as they watch us drive away from the pack house.

I reply to Keziah and we start our journey to Michael's pack.

It wasn't a long journey but I ended up sleeping in the car. Eli was running his fingers in my hair, which was relaxing and lured me to sleep. I was up by the time the car stopped at Michael's pack house.

"El, you're late!" Michael pouted at his cousin as soon as he came out of the car. This guy sure acts like a little child once his around my mate.

"I'm here now and I'm all yours for the next days or weeks or months." Eli says while embracing his cousin.

I get out of the car and press my back to the now closed door as I wait for the two to be done with their greetings. Soon I'm joined by Xavier and Cad.

"You're most welcome, Luna." Michael greets me and bows a little.

"Thank you Alpha, for welcoming me in your home." I say seriously but then end up laughing​ at Michael's pose. After he's done with whatever he was doing, he embraces me.

"It's good to see you again, in-law."

"Likewise, in-law." He release me and gives Xavier a man hug. He goes to do the same to Cad but my friend simply offers his hand to Michael for a handshake. I'm surprised to see both of them retreat their hands like they have burned each other at contact. Michael's eyes turn bright blue, showing his wolfs presence. Cad takes a step back causing Michael to growl and him to start shaking in fright.

"K-kacy, he-help m-me." Cad pleads at me without looking away from Michael and thankfully I snap out of my confused state and jump to action.

"Elijah, take Michael away or hold him until I get Cad away from him!" I shout to my mate.

Eli immediately goes and struggle with him but successfully hold his cousin and move him a distance away from Cad. I run to my friend and hold his hand, dragging him inside the pack house. We are escorted by some omega to a vacant room and Cad falls on the bed, breathing heavily.

"Are you okay? What happened out there?" I worriedly ask my best friend as I watch him breathing heavily on the bed.

"Cad, talk to me please." I plead when he doesn't say a word.

"H-he's my mate a-and I am in h-heat." Cad gasp and I look at him in shock. He turns to me with teary eyes and murmur, "t-the pills-"

Once I hear pills, I run out the room to get my bag in the car but I then meet some omegas carrying our bags. After dropping them in the room Cad was occupying, I grab one of my bag and drop everything in it on the bed. I find the pills and take the collect dosage then I grab a water bottle. I help Cad up and manage to make him take the pills.

It doesn't take long for the medicine to cool down his heat and hopefully mask his scent. He slowly starts to breathe normal and then he starts crying aloud. I hold him and let him cry out his frustration. At some point he falls asleep and I tuck him in and exit the room.

"How is he?" I face Michael who's sitting on the floor of the corridor just opposite the room I exited. He looks horrible and tired, a complete opposite expression of earlier.

"He's asleep now and I'm not sure if he's okay or not." He nods and stare at the door, Cad is in, longingly.

"You have a lot to explain to him. I don't even know how this happened. You are an alpha and alphas find their mates when they turn 10. What is really happening?" I question him and all he does is shake his head.

"It's a long story, Kacper."

I hold myself back from asking more and simply nod. It's not a story for my ears anyway.

"Its best you go and sleep. You will need the strength for tomorrow." With that, I turn away from him and head to the room I will be sharing with my mate for the time we are here.

It's been three weeks since we came to Michael's pack, making our journey to be two months old. For two whole months we've been away from home and finally we are going back.

A lot of things happened this past weeks and I'm glad at least things look good between me and Eli. I'm sure it's about time we take things to the next level in our relationship. I plan on mating with him once we get home. I don't know how he did it but I am glad he managed to not mate me this whole time. It just shows how much he respects me and my decision, making me trust him more.

Cad is slowly warming up to the fact that he has an Alpha male for a mate. It took him two weeks to at least say 'hi' to Michael. It's a shame the couple only knows to say 'hi' to each other and nothing else. It took a lot of convincing from Elijah, for Michael to ask Cad to move in with him and his son, who Cad hasn't met yet. Michael lives with his son, in a house a bit far from the Pack house. The time his wife died, was when he moved away from the pack house to the house he's residing in now.

As we are packing our bags in the car, ready to leave, Michael is also packing Cad's bags in his car. Today he will be moving in with him and I hope they start a happy family. At least he doesn't have to worry about the need to have a child for a heir since Michael has a child already. Unlike me, who has to face that problem somewhere along the long ride of forever that I will be taking with my mate. We might push it away for now but I know it will come back eventually.

"Hey,"

I finish dropping the last bags in the car and turn to Cad who's smiling at me shyly.

"Hey, Cady." I tease him, knowing he hates that name.

"Don't call me that! It's embarrassing."

"Is our little Cady blushing?" I say seeing his cheeks to turn red. I laugh at the adorable look he shows when blushing.

"Please stop it, Kacy."

My laughter dies down and we just stand there looking at each other. Our eyes saying a lot more than what we could possibly say by words.

Cad approaches me and we embrace each other. We have been together since we were little and always been there for each other. It will be hard to get used to us living apart. At least our mates are cousins and we will be able to get together anytime we want.

"I will miss you, brother." Cad starts sniffling and I let a few tears drop.

"I will miss you too, brother," I whisper. He is the brother I have from another mother. He will always have a part in my heart, special just for him.

"Babe, you can always visit him." Eli says and we slowly part, facing our mates who are looking at us.

"And you can always visit too." Cad nods at Michael's words and smiles a bit.

"I will visit when I can and you have to always tell me what's happening in your life." I tell Cad and turn to Michael. "I don't want to hear you mistreated my best friend. If you hurt him or make a tear appear on his beautiful face, you will have an angry Alpha family and Luna of Lunas to deal with." I warn Michael ​seriously​.

"Yes I understand, Luna."

"Good."

"Um, we have to get going before my mate strangles my cousin." Eli says while pulling me to our car.

We both laugh and wave each other goodbye as we pull out of the pack house and make our way home. We will be arriving home just after the sun set and I've planned everything out. I asked Jemima to prepare everything we will need tonight, starting with dinner and the mating. I want our first time to happen at the life of the forest because it was there where I gave him a second chance to make us work.

I believe it's time and I'm ready to become one with him, in every way possible.
